"Oh. I was just told-" He glanced back at the guards after Kuro insulted them. He didn't agree or respond to the insult, he merely continued with his healing. He wondered why the angels taught him something different from what Kuro said. Maybe they just didn't know, or maybe they didn't try to learn. As he listed off emotions and things he felt, Aoba couldn't help but shift a little towards the last one. He immediately looked away, not wanting to stare into Kuro's eyes for too long. Even so, Aoba continued to listen, curiously. He noticed the small jerks and clenches Kuro would have, making him silence. He would check that out as well.

Aoba was noticing the little nicknames he was being given like Little Mouse, or the occasional cute. But he only assumed it was just him being playful or the demonic nature he was told about. It did get him a little more intrigued to know that Kuro would teach him about demons, though he tried not to show it too much.

“I'll tell you, as long as you keep coming back to me love."

Aoba blinked. "W-Well I do have to heal you..." He said, almost as if he was sealing the deal in anticipation to hear more stories. The angel really wanted to know, since he was never allowed to go out to the Earth realm. He made sure to pay close attention, looking down at Kuro's hands as he explained the nature of his wings. He couldn't help but trail his finger tips over where Kuro's wings would have been. "No feathers? Your wings sound like they'd rip." He immediately pulled his hands away, mumbling an apology. "Angel wings don't hide. We can will them to disappear. Just- Just like our halos." At the mention, he tapped lightly where his halo would've been and sure enough it appeared, giving off a soft glow, but soon disappeared after.

Thankfully, his question changed the subject, even if it made Aoba's feathers ruffle in distaste. There was nothing he could say about it because he knew it wasn't his place. So his cheeks puffed lightly, only to blow the air out. Instead of bandages this time, he put patches on the more severe wounds. "They're going to keep tearing up my bandages... I'll just put the patches on since they're for short term use." He explained quietly.

"Alright, last bit before I'm done for the day. I need you to sit up." Aoba ignored the grumbles and helped him up slowly and gently. "Your mouth? You have cuts there too, yes?" He asked, showing his attentiveness before actually helping Kuro. Getting so close to his mouth was probably dangerous. And if the guards were paying attention, they'd probably tell him not to do it. Slowly, even if Kuro lied and said no, Aoba hesitantly touched his cheek with a warm and soft glowing hand, healing the cuts. He did this with the other side too, and got the same healing results. "Better?"
It's not too late~ You're already here. Just keeo up with both.

And awesome pirate music. That'll go with the list of Volataire songs...that'll be posted every once and awhile.
*Waits for other crewmates*
Enasi had eventually just crawled under his blanket, laying thereabs waiting for the moment to pass. But even as long as he laid there, the moment didn't pass. The same feelings were still present. 'I should probably get checked to see if I'm sick.' None of the excuses he thought of met reasoning. As a guardian, and one who could easily sense emotions, he knew He just couldn't or didn't want to believe it. Wasn't there enough going on?

While he was in his own mind, he didn't realize Crios approaching until he opened the door ever so quietly. Enasi moved ever so slightly, sensing the worry in his doctor. "Lord Enasi?" His voice was gentle, as if trying not to startle him. The fox watched as the covers shifted and Enasi revealed himself. He gave a soft sigh of relief, knowing that his guardian didn't have to endure the darkness, bit still held worry. "Are you okay sir? I would have normally seen you in Seishu's room by now." Seishu's words echoed in his head, but he decided not to ask anything. . . At least not yet.

"O-Oh I'm. . . Okay. I think." It was really hard for him to lie. So, if was obvious to Crios that something was not okay. "A-Actually. Could you examine me? Just a check up. For the sake of checking is all." He tried to reassure the doctor before he got worked up about nothing- well what Enasi hoped was nothing.

"Of course." Already having his things with him, he went about examining the Dream Guardian. After a few minutes,  Crios shook his head. "You're fine sir. Nothing is wrong." The doctor even looked at Enasi's hand to see the symbol there full and well. The guardian nodded and slowly stood. He wasn't ready to face his counterpart yet, so he decided to walk around the castle to clear his head a little.
Crios gave a worried look as Enasi walked off, and his tail twitched behind him. A small spark flew behind him. Now he really needed to know what happened.

In the silence, Rue decided to speak softly. "I don't think you're an idiot." He offered before falling silent again and simply cuddling to the Nightmare Guardian.

Harper had went his rounds, checking to make sure any nightmares had slipped through or tried anything else, but all was quiet. So he found himself walking to Seishu's room. His ears were bent, and he had to catch his breath from all that running. When he got inside, he was a little surprised to see only Rue and Seishu. Normally the fox and Ensy were in here as well.

Rue didn't speak, he merely gave a nod before hugging Seishu again. Guardian or not, he could tell something was off abojt Seishu so with a curious tilt of his head, Harper closed the door and leaned against the wall. "What'd I miss this time?" His arms crossed as if he wasn't planning on leaving without an answer. "Surely the all mighty Night hasn't given up now?" He teased, probably to get him back for another time.
Aoba couldn't help but give a look of confusion towards Kuro's theatrics. He watched silently with a slight tilt if his head. He wasn't sure if he should apologize or let him continue. But the confusion subsided when Kuro coughed up blood. The angel immediately got one of his towels and wiped the blood from his cheek, careful not to get too close to his mouth. He had heard that demons had sharp teeth and fangs, he didn't want to get bitten. It sounded like it would hurt...a lot. "Try where the blood. . ." His eyes wandered downward, only to get a clear view when Kuro moved.

The little angel gasped and helped him roll over. There was a pool of blood forming from a shoulder wound, and the many on his back. "That is awful." He said in slight disbelief, more to himself than to Kuro. To think that his siblings had to fight for their own hearts was saddening, and he sympathized for Kuro's sister silently. It probably wasn't allowed considering the two weren't suppose top get along, bit Aoba couldn't help being nice.

Aoba let him have the towel that he wiped his cheek with and got another in order to wipe up the blood. Once again, he went about thoroughly cleaning the area before he went to work helping Kuro. He had fully prepared to stay silemt th3 entire time, fine with it that way. But when Kuro started to speak, he found himself engaged in the story.

He had accomplished healing the shoulder wound, and was on to his back before he actually spoke. "T-That doesn't sound well at all. Is that, um, is that why demons lack emotion?" He asked in innocent curiosity. "I was told that demons don't...But I've never- never knew why." He didn't want to admit that he had never seen a demon up close, or at all before. If he admitted that, Kuro may not have wanted him to tend to his injuries. Then again, he didn't want to tell Kuro about his lack of true experience because he was normally laughed at or just shoved to the side.

Aoba pushed the thought aside, more curious about the conversation. After he answered, Aoba worked up the courage to ask another question. "Do you, um... do you have w-wings?" He looked back down to continue fixing his back. "Sorry if it hurts. . . I asked for sedatives to numb the pain, but they wouldn't let me have them. Sorry."
Enasi stayed in his room, staring out the window. He wasn't sure how he felt about the kiss. It was meant to tease. The look in his eye, and the grin told him that. But all of a sudden it went downhill so fast. Enasi tried to recall every movement, every gesture, and every word that he made, trying to recall if he had did something to upset him. But Seishu wouldn't cry over Enasi. That was just silly. But what could it have been then?

Enasi decided to spare Seishu the visit, at least until his own mind cleared up. He found his thoughts rolling back to the kiss. As old as they were, it definitely wasn't his first, but the guardian didn't kiss many in his life time. A lot of them were simple kisses on the cheek or on the head. There were two events where minions had gotten overly excited to see him and practically forced him into kisses before. It still solicited a blush of surprise from him, but it was just that. Surprise. There was no deeper emotion he felt with them, but with Seishu. . . Enasi's eyes widened and he jolted up.

'I couldn't possibly have feelings for him!? That's- That's...!?

And just like that, Enasi felt as if he was going crazy. There was no way Seishu felt the same way! There was no way that it would ever work! More importantly, Enasi could have just been going crazy! Maybe the feeling would pass. Maybe he was just over worked and tired. The dream guardian fell back on his bed and put a pillow over his face.

'This wouldn't have happened if I could've just kept peace.
The dream guardian let out a soft whimper of confusion before throwing a pillow over his face. He felt like such a child.

Lilium started to say something else in the intense silence, but upon seeing Gin make eye contact, she silenced herself and laid there.

Gin moved from his position after a long while, sitting up straight. He closed his eyes, heaving a sigh and stood. The male still had a look of frustration on his face as he stared down at Lilium. His hand trailed over his weapon, making the minion tense, although it only caused more pain in her body.

"You've done well. Rest for now child." Lilium's eyes widened a little. She was almost sure he would end her life there. The Dread Slayer sighed silently as he walked away, and rested her head back to let sleep overwhelm her again.

He walked away to figure out there next attack. He needed Seishu dead and the man was being stubborn as hell. It made him growl as he walked off. Even if the Guardian was dying, he was dying way too slow.
Awesome.

Captain
Name: Runali "Runa" Lev

Age:18

Gender: Female

Appearance:
Runali stands around 5"7 with medium length dark blue-black hair. She has a black hat that normally covers it, like the picture, but without the decorations. Her left eye is covered by a black eyepatch (unless she or a crew member gets another every now and then) so the color is unknown, but her right eye is an odd golden color.

Her StarDusk symbol is on her right arm. It's the original symbol of a star and ribbon encompassing it. The symbol lacks excess designs, symbolizing that she is the captain, and the first to have the symbol printed on her.

The symbol is usually visible due to her wearing short sleeves most of the time. Her attire normally consists of tan capris pants that stop right at her knees and some type of short sleeve shirt whether it be plain or loose button up.

Position: "Somehow, I convinced enough people to believe that I'd be a good captain. Boy are they in for a ride. Captain of the Coral Pearl, and the StarDusk Pirates."

Personality: It would be hard to make out a specific personality profile for the girl. Her demeanor changes like the wind. Often, Runali is seen as a lazy lump, always dozing off on the ship as they're sailing the seas. If one is lucky, you might catch her sleep through a meaningless fight. But this side of her is only when she is around the people she is most comfortable with, meaning her crew. Normally, Runali is a fairly stoic person. Many believe her stoic personality holds an air of mystery or they may expect her to be some cryptic person with riddles and have a highly serious attitude. This is not the case. Runali just doesn't show many emotions.

The girl sometimes displays emotion when under extreme stress or in other highly emotional situations, but her usual repertoire consists of mild boredom and detached interest. Often times, during fights Runali is seen yawning in boredom, especially to long monologues. Her crew, and extreme situations are the ones or things that manage to elicit many emotions out of her.

Being a two sided coin, if one doesn't catch her being lazy, then they are bound to see... a stoic character, but one with more motivation in her eyes. She can be very perceptive, something she may demonstrate by providing important and logical decisions at critical times and by evaluating the situation from an objective point of view. There's a shift in pattern where it seems like she is only motivated during extreme periods of time, and then she'll so happen to switch it up and no one knows what to expect.

And despite all this, Runali considers herself fairly boring...(which in the narrator's opinion, she might be.)

Special Skill: Runali is extraordinarily agile. Even at a young age, she was able to execute mid-air somersaults and cartwheels that surpassed natural human talents. Because of this, she was very fast and agile in battle, able to outmaneuver almost any opponent she came across and jump exceptionally high and far even from a stationary position. She is also very limber; able to twist and bend herself into positions nearly impossible for an ordinary person to achieve. These abilities also grant her impressive parkour and freerunning skills, allowing her to scale almost any surface or terrain very quickly and squeeze through most barriers and small spaces.

Runali's most defining ability is her mastery of pressure-point martial arts. With her extensive knowledge of the human body, she can strike sequences of pressure points, immobilizing her enemies to various degrees. She has the ability to paralyze a single body part or an opponent's entire body, if she can get close enough.

History: Runali was born to a tradesmen and a store merchant. So, her life consisted of a lot of travel. While her father took business in trading, often times she would visit the different islands with him, which proved to teach her a quick tongue, making her a great bargainer. If she wasn't doing that, then she was helping her mother organize the fruits and vegetables she sold. There was nothing too extraordinary about her life. Runali was a normal cloud gazer, and if not, there wasn't too much she would do. The kids that didn't think she was weird played with her on occasions, but normally she preferred to observe than to join in. Her quiet nature comes from being told to speak when spoken to.

One day, when she was traveling with her father, Runali encountered a woman training in Tai Chi, and various meditative martial arts. Before long, she trained with the woman as well, often staying on the island and returning to her home days later. This is how she learned her agile abilities. It was all fine and peaceful until a band of thieves raided the two females. Yes, they were able to fight back, but not without the price of a few injuries- one being how she got the eyepatch. No one is sure exactly how she got injured, whether it was an explosion or she was stabbed, or something of the sorts. All they know is that she... well, got injured.

Being young, her story is still in full effect. Only months before she had started her journey sailing the seas, and now she decided to become a pirate.

Why you became a pirate: Unlike many, she has no traumatic experiences or no need for revenge. Runali just wanted to know what freedom was like. At home, she was forced into such a routine life, that normally left her cloud gazing. As a pirate, she can experience frequent change and constant adventure. Even if she doesn't show it, Runali enjoys it.

Will "Red Death" Carabis

Age: 27

Gender: Male

Position: Captain of the Bloody Barrel and the Red pirates.

Personality: Whether he has some hidden emotional secrets or not, Carabis has a high superiority complex. He doesn't think he's better than everyone, he knows he is. Will is not only a flirt, but he's a manipulator as well. Everyone that is in his crew owe something to him whether it's an impossible debt or their life. In a sense, they sold their soul to him. This pirate cares for no one that holds know value to him. Carabis will kill without a second thought... that includes cute puppies and babies. Not saying he ever shot a baby.

Despite all of this, he cares for his crew- for selfish reasons. They do owe him stuff after all. But he won't hesitate to kill someone that threatens or harms his crew members. He has a very jolly and mocking personality, speaking informally with most people as if they are close friends and often using nicknames. Although Will enjoys conflict, he usually stays out of it, preferring to observe the fight instead of directly taking part in it. He does this to find the opponent's weakness.

Special Skill: Will is an observer. His keen eye spots weakness and opportunity. It's rare that one sees him in a brawl, unless it's something major like a Captain vs. Captain fight. He is also a trickster and defies the laws of "cheaters never win". This is proven by the many Davy Back Fights he has won in order to strengthen his crew. With each fight he won, he gained another flock of crew members. Currently, the Red Pirates have three ships in command.

He earned the name Red Death not only due to his bright red hair, but also because of his unnatural speed. A skilled swordsman, Carabis is extraordinarily light on his toes. So, as he rushes to his opponent, if they're unlucky, all they see is a red blur as they are killed.

History: "Wouldn't you like to know." [???] (All will be revealed)

Why did you become a pirate: "Because being a pirate is symbolism of conquer. I'm going to conquer the seas and be the strongest there is. Along with being the richest. Wealth and power is what gets you to the top in this world."

Stella Flor

She'll always wear something fairly provocative as well.

Miss Flor is the sniper of the Red pirates. She's is a flirtatious and mildly inappropriate woman, making dirty jokes or innuendos. She tries to get the attention of her captain, but Carabis has turned her down more often than once. Occasionally, she'll play the helpless damsel card because she loves the attention she gets when she's helped. She'll lure men with her seductive traits and end up stabbing them. She's often seen in revealing clothing unless it's cold, and her mark of the Red pirates is her red bandage that goes from her left thigh to her ankle.
Rin Goodwin

Goodwin is the First mate. He's the person everyone goes to when the Captain is away. He is the true definition of a first class first mate. Rin makes sure he is up to date with everything, informing the captain of the latest news whether it be with the government, or any activity on an island. Just like his captain, he observes his prey in order to take them down. The one difference between them is that Rin has a short temper and won't hesitate to kill someone if they annoy him. He is pretty quiet around new people, but around his crew one will hear him having conversations or yelling at crewmates.
