Aoba hid. That was all he could do. It would at least slow them down. He heard the cursing outside the door and panicked. He quickly ran up the steps and looked around for a place to hide. His heart raced, feeling impending doom if he didn't find safety. Into his room he went, and then to the dusty closet. He covered his mouth and nose to refrain from coughing. He curled up in the corner, trying to stay as still as possible. 'That was too close. Too close. Too close! His small frame shook, but even as fearful as he was, he worried about Kuro. He saw all three of those demons, and one was fairly large. He resembled some of the warrior angels in physique. So, he decided to be risky.
He didn't hear the demons rummaging through his new house, trying to find him. The creaky floors would have gave them away. So, quietly, he crawled out of the closet, staying as silent as possible- being a "little mouse". He peeked through the curtain of the nearest window to see Kuro in action. The bloody massacre made him pale. The blood wasn't the issue, he dealt with blood all the time- but the way Kuro handled each of them, made him cower away. The second demon that was attacked was too close to the door to see, so Aoba only managed to see gauging of flesh and eyes before he ran back to the closet.
This time he couldn't control the soft coughing as he inhaled some of the dust in there, but he hurried to get himself together, not knowing where the third had gotten to. The roaring only made him quiet down faster. He didn't know who it belonged to and it sounded menacing. Hearing footsteps made Aoba curl up tighter. 'Pleasepleaseplease...' Kuro's voice rang out and Aoba flinched, soon relaxing at the familiarity. 'They're gone? He...stopped them all?' Slowly, but surely Aoba crawled out of the closet and coughed again.
The angel was covered in dust from head to toe. He stood, dusting himself off as best as he could. As he did, he looked out and towards the bathroom. "A-Are you okay?" His voice was a bit shaky as he focused on calming down. He didn't bother walking to the bathroom, not really wanting to see the mess that Kuro said he was. Instead, he sat on the floor of his room and looked at his dirty wings. It was hard to tell what was dust and whay was just his new gray feathers, so he quietly began to dust them off.

A slight blush eminated from the whispered words, but disappeared as they got outside. He gave each of them curious gazes, only for them to glance away. He looked over at Seishu as if he knew, but soon enough just let the situation go. When Seishu reunites with his minions, Enasi watches it with a smile. The silent exchange of emotions was there, and the looks in their eyes made him 'aww' to himself. He didn't want to ruin anything by speaking outloud.
At first, the guardian assumed Kaila was moving out of the way to give the other two nightmares room to speak. But seeing the smile he recieved made him stand up a little more and tilt his head. 'This isn't weird...' Enasi returmed the smile with a more gentle one and he watched Kaila. His eyebrow raises to see that familiar pretty nightmare flower he took so much care of. Almost as soon as he presented the gift to him, there was a look of shock and a faint blush to his cheeks. 'They- Kaila respects me? How sweet. He carefully slipped his new prize into his loose jacket pocket, twiddling his fingers over it gently. It was such a pretty flower, and thanks to Starla, he had seen quite a few remarkable flowers. In the next moment, Kaila whispered into his ear, something he never thought he'd ever hear making the blush deepen. 'F-From his... Kaila could be assuming things. . . But just as Harler is my right hand, Kaila is his. But...' He started to ask Kaila a question, but stopped when he turned around. 'I wonder if Seishu told him this and he's relaying the message in secret...? I dunno.... that seems a little dramatic for Seishu. . . But then again it is Seishu.'
Crios cleared his throat to get Enasi's attention and immediately the guardian was up and out of his trance. He took his position by Seishu's side and wrapped his arm around his waist once again to hold him steady- although he was sure he could do that himself. "Alright. I'm fine with it." To think they'd be once again doing those sessions again made him smile inwardly, only to come to the realization of his panic before. 'Oh gosh. . . This isn't some weird phase. I actually do have-' He didn't finish the thought. His hopes had gotten too high, and he needed to bring himself down. He had to remember that it probably would never happen.
Crios saw the change in his eyes as he stood alone to create the portal and merely shook his head. 'As much as I love you Enasi, you can be quite oblivious. But no matter, it's nothing that we can't handle.' Enasi gestured everyone out of the human realm and he helped Seishu afterwards, holding a little tighter if Seishu were to get dizzy. As soon as they were home, Finn and Starla waited at Seishu's room door and saluted Harper as he greeted them. "Welcome back. Everything is just as you left it."
"Thank you." Enasi smiled and took Seishu to his room, and right to his bed. Rue immediately perked up seeing both his guardians and hugged them both.
"Welcome back!" Enasi giggled lightly and turned as he went over to hug Inui and Rasha walked past only to turn into his cat form to take seat on Seishu's lap. Enasi watched the three get situated and then noticed something in the male's sleeve. "What's that?" He didn't panic, instead just asked about it.
Inui was by Rue giggling and speaking softly. "I have to tell you all about it okay?" Rue nodded and looked back to see the guardians talking. "Let's, um , not disturb them okay? We can go out into the hall." Inui said a little louder, trying to seem less suspicious with his whispering.
Rue had a huge grin on his face as he flew up and took his hand. "Let's go then!"

Rue had a huge grin on his face as he flew up and took his hand. "Let's go then!"
The captain looked up to see Luro standing near her, aiming his rifle downward. "Get down?" She echoed in confusion and then listened as he asked Nolan to protect her, which he hurriedly complied to. 'Protect the captain. Ah. This is what they meant.' She realized what they were doing and nodded. "Sure, why not? Although, I can assure you I'm not in terrible condition." As she spoke, she had a rather odd feeling that they wouldn't believe her and would still force her to lay low- well, she figured Nolan probably would force her to stay seated, being the caring person he was. Runali hadn't moved at first, still listening to Luro speak. She raised an eyebrow at how fast he managed to find the sniper. It was a show of true perceptive-ness and even devotion.
"I'm afraid I intend on killing this one captain, unless you want an eye for an eye...and I hit her shoulder. Also I just realized I could have used something else other than eye, please excuse that. Well actually me saying something about it probably didn't help, how about an arm for an arm....nah that sounds silly I'm keeping the original one."
The one eyed girl cracked a small smirk and followed his eyes to the wagon he spoke of. "Well, she did pose a threat. And could've killed me. You can do as you see fit." She finally decided to move out the way as she was told. "Oh also," She paused to look at Luro. "An arm for an arm does sound silly." With that, she moved to sit on the deck. One moment, she was calmly sitting down, starting to persuade Nolan that he didn't need to stand and attempt to take bullets for her and the next moment Kai had leapt onto the ship in front of her and growled out a few threats. The icy tone if his voice even made Runa raise an eyebrow in slight surprise. That was some scary impression he did- compared to his normal intimidating looks that he gave people.
The pirates making their way on the deck realized that they'd lose their lives fighting these no named pirates. Stone of them were fairly lethal. It was. . . Impossible. How could so few take out so many!? Soon enough, pirates were retreating back to the town, or just out of sight. Runali smirked towards the victory and went to the wheel of the ship. But as she did, she noticed one of the doors were opened, when it wasn't before. "Hm.." Without a word, she slipped off inside the ship to check it out. (This was before Ray asked about the captain's condition, so she wasn't in sight.) "Now, why would this be open..." She heard the rummaging and frowned a little. "Nolan will not be happy about this~" She cleared her throat and the pirate whirled around. He hadn't grabbed many things yet, and because of this, he grabbed the nearest kitchen knife and lunged forward.
"I don't think Nolan likes people fighting in his kitchen. Or people with their dirty paws in them as well." She dodged the few slices and stabs he attempted. When she tried to jab at him, she had forgotten about her injured arm and winced. 'That..ow.' She missed her attack, only to have to stumble backwards to avoid getting cuts in the face. She heard a slice, only to feel her eyepatch go slack. "Hey! That was a gift!" In a few moves, she ended up knocking him out with her one free hand. "Man, he was a nuisance..."
She grabbed the heavy pirate by his collar and dragged him out using her good arm. "Eh, can someone throw him over board?" Now the bullet in her shoulder was a bit worse than before after being strained so much. She had heard the cannon go off, and whistled. "Time to set sail." She walked off towards the wheel as the anchor was pulled up and the the sails were out. And soon enough. . . .
The real adventure was about to begin.
"Sheesh, that was a lot for just a grocery trip don't you think?" Her hair fell over her blind eye as she looked at the sliced eyepatch in her hand. Hopefully, she had another one. She could have sworn she did, but at the moment she didn't know. "I think we should have some nice parting music don't you think Ray? Nice fighting everyone and good job."
"I'm afraid I intend on killing this one captain, unless you want an eye for an eye...and I hit her shoulder. Also I just realized I could have used something else other than eye, please excuse that. Enasi walked in, feeling refreshed and renewed from his little spoils. He walked up Seishu, almost automatically as he asked for help. It was normal now, and he really didn't mind it. He took his place by Seishu's side and wrapped his arm loosely around his waist. "I'm sure they're waiting for us. Let's get going." He realized Seishu could walk more on his own, so he didn't need to have him lean for support. So, Enasi stood straight, now more so holding his side gently- just because. From anyone's perspective, it would look like a casual hug between the two.
"You don't seem to need my help now." He smiled, although it was a little disheartening to know that he wouldn't be able to help Seishu around. He walked along with Seishu, making small conversation. It was along the lines of, "How do you think everyone is getting along?" And, "I hope they're getting at least a little." He worried a little, just as he always did. But seeing all the minions staring up at them he blinked. "I don't see any injuries. No one looks upset..." Enasi smiled. "I think they're fine."
Finn smiled and bowed, Starla following in pursuit. "Of course we are sir. You can trust us." Finn spoke and looked back at the group. They all looked fairly casual, as if they had only been doing what they had planned originally- watching the perimeter.
