Runa listened to the tale Luro told with interest. She had never heard the story told that way before. Of course, there were probably many different versions to the story especially when it came to drunken pirates. "Don't worry, if I see him, you all will be right behind me. Like I told you all before, you'll get part of all the treasure we get. Therefore, when we find it, we'll all be seeing this so called captain who started it all."  She nodded, as if making that final before they continued on with their conversation.

When Nolan yelled out from the kitchen, Runali jumped down, landing on the main deck without a sound. "Intruders, eh? It looks like we have a stowaway." Kai was already at Nolan's side, looking around and Runali searched as well. Being shorter than the two, she noticed the girl in the crate before them, and pointed to where she was so Kai could grab her. Runa blocked off the exit till Kai grabbed her. She expected some huge grunt, planning to kill them all for the ship and the new treasure they got. Instead, they found a girl, shorter than she was. "Ha, no wonder she managed to hide so well. Bring her to the main deck."

She was dumped onto the deck and Runa motioned for Luro or Ray to tie her up. "She may not look like a threat, but that doesn't mean she isn't one. Don't take any chances." Her arms were crossed after she adjusted the hat on her head. "So... Mind telling me who you are and why you're stowing away on my ship? Or do I have to throw you overboard?" It wasn't safe to just randomly trust anyone- especially not if you were a pirate. Runa gave the girl a chance though. She wasn't heartless, and by first glance, it didn't look like she destroyed the kitchen.

"Captain! Pirate ship dead ahead! Plan?" The male looked out to the sea with a smug grin. His sunglass reflected the sea in them, and a cigarette rested between his lips. There was a small pause as the captain eyed the flag of the ship.

"Tch, kidnap them. We could use more slaves. They could do just the job. Kill the captain, and take the crew and treasure. The crew will be useful to add to our little collection." He grinned maniacally and turned away from the deck, going to sit in his quarters.

"Hopefully they have a better cook than our own. . ."

"Aye Captain!" The crew member saluted and went to order the others to catch the ship.

- - ! ! - -

Before they managed to get a good interrogation out of her, Runali's good eye caught the sight of a ship coming toward them with haste. "Hm? That flag. . . Hey Luro, give me a boost." When he did, she narrowed her eyes once again, catching sight of the flag.

"Those aren't pirates, nor the government. That's a slave ship, they're cruel thieves and I don't think they are going to bypass -" Just as she was about to tell them it was probably time to get a move on, cannons were fired. They missed and hit the water, but the ship was approaching fast on their right side. "It hasn't even been a full day, and this is the second time we've gotten attacked. The life of a pirate. Arm the cannons!" Runa jumped off of Luro and she looked at their new prisoner, wondering what to do with her for the time being. Well, she didn't mean any harm by the looks of it, and Runa wasn't cruel enough to just kill her for no reason. So, the captain waited to see if she would come up with a good enough excuse.
Aoba couldn't help the small smile as Kuro subtly seemed to let her down easy. "Well I'm glad you ordered for me as well. I don't think I would have ever gotten my food." He teased and rested his arm on the counter and waited for their food. He watched the woman go, and shook his head lightly. "I don't have to know much about humans to know that she had a 'thing' for you." He laughed lightly, making no big deal of it. If people found him attractive, than they did. Not saying he wasn't, but Aoba didn't think it was his place to judge. He then found himself following Kuro back to their bags. Quietly, he sat on a bench, tapping his hands against his legs silently as he waited. Eyes started turning toward the two, more rather, on Kuro. It made Aoba uncomfortable no less.

The demon's hand snake around his waist, and he looked at him. He was sitting still, there was no need for him to keep him close. What Kuro whispered made Aoba blink and flush lightly. "Aura? What aura?" He then thought it over and asked another. "What trouble would they cause?" 'I guess Kuro doesn't want the attention. I wouldn't blame him, they look so. . . Well, lust driven. But aren't demons like that too? Well, he's different. He's not trying to kill me that's for sure.' The server returned and Aoba walked over to retrieve the boxes so Kuro could carry the rest. He wasn't expecting the glare from the girl and instead of hiding behind Kuro, his look was just of confusion. He happily followed Kuro out, not wanting to be around the many frowns or glares as he was pulled near the demon as if it was a normal thing.

"That sounds like a good idea." And soon enough, the two were walking back to the farm together. "Don't worry, I can wait." He said reassuringly. In the midst of their walk, Aoba shifted the boxes in his hands in order to roll his sleeves up. The sun seemed to be glaring straight down at the two. But, he did no type of complaining. Instead, he ended up unbuttoning the top button of his shirt and pulling down the collar more. When he did that, it was apparent that he was sweating. It was a gross feeling, so he ended up wiping it with his shirt sleeve. Even though he didn't complain, he still made faces to express his distaste.

Thirty minutes or so had passed in a comfortable silence. There were the few times Aoba's stomach grumbled, but that was expected and he simply ignored it for the time being. The farm game to view, and sure enough the truck was there and unloading. "We have a lot of work to do." Aoba looked over all the things two males were unloading out the truck.

I have returned!
*Caught up with the reading*
It went from Aww look at the couple, to ha Lesley please don't kill the couple.
Hi guys! I have returned!
Worry not, a post will come your way.
Enasi watched the little display and applauded towards the end. "Remarkable." He said when Seishu had come within ear range. He looked up as Seishu flew over him, and then waited for him to walk up to sit by him. Instead, he found himself being hugged from behind. Enasi sighed gently and ran fingers over Seishu's hands. The comment made him laugh and he snuggled closer to Seishu.

"Lord Enasi?

Lord Seishu?"

Enasi sat up slowly, looking up curiosity when he heard his name. He didn't hear Seishu's name get called, just as Seishu wouldn't hear Enasi's name very called. "That's not the stars this time." Then, he could almost feel himself waking up. Everything started to face away, just add it always did. The guardian moved from his counterpart's hold and smiled lightly. As he faded, he leaned in and gave Seishu a quick peck on the cheek. And he then woke up first. . .

"Lord Enasi?"  The voice was gentle, and the guardian responded with a soft hum. Harper sighed in relief when his guardian was awake. "Thank goodness you're okay."

Enasi then sat up slowly and rubbed his eyes. "Why wouldn't I be? I was only resting. Nothing happened did it?" Harper shook his head quickly before Enasi could start to worry over nothing.

"No, no. It's just that, when you were asleep, that energy that you two create together. . . I don't know what exactly happened, but the energy lashed out. It had gotten kind of...hostile. In a sense. Then it all of a sudden stopped and I got concerned, so I stayed here." He explained, watching the expression on his face to see if anything happened in Their World. Enasi blinked and ran fingers through his hair, looking at the bed. There was no mistaking it for when the balance of their peaceful world began to break as well. . . But then it calmed down.

"It's fine. Everything is fine now. Sort of." Little by little the more the dream replayed through his mind, the more he could feel the guilt and regret of it.
I fixxed it!
Aoba wondered why he was being stared at forbthe brief amount of time he held the clothes. Was he not suppose to ask for food yet? Well, he could have waited but Aoba didn't want to only eat a bunch of apples. It wasn't filling after awhile. The demon took his clothes without answering, so Aoba just decided to wait. He didn't want to bother the other if he couldn't get anything. As he turned, it looked as though Kuro was composing himself. He started to offer to carry the bags, but Kuro was already walking out did. They paused and Kuro pointed to the diner they had passed by. Hearing that he'd have to pack his food, Aoba merely shrugged before walking across.

"I don't mind. I'm not dying so it's okay." He keeps up with Kuro's pace and once he's inside the diner, he reaches to follow in pursuit of grabbing a menu, until Kuro tells them to share. Times were much easier when he was immortal. Things like wouldn't be a problem. But of course, he lost that title do to his innocent- and rather foolish actions. And despite all that from before, he was sitting with the demon that started it all. The thought made Aoba give Kuro a look of . . . Interest? Concern? It was hard to tell the right expression, but the expression faded as his eyes went down to the menu. 'I wonder if they can see me now... Of course they probably only hate me worse now. But, what's done is done. And... Kuro isn't so bad. Scary at times, but he's not so bad.' "Hey,  Kuro?" His eyes studied the menu as he spoke. "Do my wings look darker to you?" His voice had softened so the curious humans didn't overhear.

Still, his eyes stayed fixiated on the menu, reading each one. Most of the stuff he used to eat were fruits. They were only used to replenish. The ones who did normally eat in vast amounts were the warrior angels, and they ate a lot. But even he would get tired of eating nothing but fruits all day. He pointed to the menu, pointing to a few on the breakfast side. But, was ultimately directed to the lunch/dinner side of the menu. The chefs didn't make breakfast after a certain time, so it would be a waste to let him go through it.

Aoba asked about some of the food, like what BLT stood for or what would be best to pack for the trip back home. He questioned what would taste better, and instead of getting a burger and fries, which seemed to be popular, he decided to go with the BLT. The amount of time it took for him to make a decision was long enough to give them a clear way to the front line. A young woman looked at Kuro, giving a small smirk and leaned against the counter. "And what can I do for you cutie?" Her demeanor seemed to change from the friendly and kind register lady to a more flirty and playful one. It seemed she had ignored Aoba completely as he stood there, examining the interaction with confusion and interest.

The human doesn't even know him, but at first glance has been put into some trance of adoration. How odd. I wondee what he'll do.

She looked as Jasper gave her a sharp stone to mark the paths with. "Oh, this could work! Thanks!" She stopped at the nearest tree and carved out three diagnol lines. "We'll start here!" Hopefully, her little thought of creatures using them to find the most souls didn't come true. That would spell trouble for the lot of them. She listened to their talk of sacrifice, cutting various trees with three diagnol marks. And paused when she heard the sounds of the others signing along to her tune. "Eheh, Aren't you scared? Well, that's just fine! ~"

It occured to her later that the rabbit, Brandy was it? advised them not to mark the trees. But it was a little more than five trees too late for that. "Hmph, well that plan apparently isn't going to work. Sorry Jasper. But I thought it was a good plan." She shrugged and then tossed the rock ahead of her, as far as she could, which was a pretty good distance. It was of no use to her, but if they needed it, it was right up ahead. Instead of hearing a faint thump against a tree or the ground- or nothing at all for that matter, she heard the screech and hiss of something that must've gotten hit. "Hehe, I have good aim."

The thing that ran past was quick, but Ace caught sight of its form, only to realize it was just a cat with rather large fangs.

"That was all? Sheesh, that wasn't so scary." Ace laughed lightly. Just as the cat appeared, it disappeared into the darkness. This was also around the time Lesley decided to offer her a trident. Well Brandy's advi e went out the window.

"Sweeeet!"

Before she could pick it up, Lesley squealed and ran off. She picked up the trident and looked back, seeing nothing there. "Relax Lesley. There's nothing there...?" An eerie feeling settled in her and she narrowed her eyes, looking around. "Maybe there is something here~" She whistled and it echoed out. The trident was still tight in her hand and she tapped one of the trees with it before she began to make three incisions like before.

From the corner of her eye, she could have sworn she saw red eyes. But when she turned away, they were gone. "This place is freaky." Ace slowed her steps, being closer to the group, although still ahead. The spooky songs would be enough to get her a tad jumpy so she quit on those too. "So, nothing too scary around here... Just some trees." Seeing Harper hit Inadi on accident, she giggled lightly. "Calm down you two, we can't turn on each other at a time like this." She teased, and walked a few paces ahead when everyone else paused.

When they were moving again, Ace followed poking at near by trees. "Hehe, thanks by the way Lesley." Ace admired the weapon in hand and pursued to poke at the creepy trees. It felt as if something was following them. But she saw nothing move, so she continued venturing forwad. The rabbit guide seemed to know some information about the place so she glanced over to get his attention. "Um,  rabbit? Do you happen to know how long this walk will be, till we reach something other than trees?"
