It didn't take a guardian to see the distraught look in Harper's eyes. The rabbit man was practically on edge from such news. As selfish as it was, Finn was thankful that Seishu's attention turned away from him. He didn't mean to be so rude, but he was just as shocked as Harper was- although from the looks of it, Harper was probably doing a lot worse. Enasi watched and gave a sympathetic look, but he did not plan to cave into his saddened look. "As my second in command Harper, I understand your distress. But as I've told them, I'd rather not risk your lives. Going there is way too dangerous. Besides, I'll need you here to protect the Realm in my absence."

Harper looked at the floor for some time. He understood his guardian's wishes, but he didn't like this idea. Not one bit. But it was already set that he would not go. Enasi made it completely clear. Reluctant as it sounded, Harper bowed once more. ". . . Yes sir. I'll do what I can here." Crios sympathized with the poor guard, but he stayed silent. It wasn't his place to speak. Instead, Crios walks over, quietly examining Seishu once more, almost as if to give himself something to do. Night didn't seem to be pained or in need of any medicine, especially not with his counterpart so close and cozied up.

Rasha's ears flattened and he scooted closer to the guardian's. He gave a soft whine for someone to break the tension in the room. Where was Cho when they needed him? Enasi reached over again to pet Rasha and he purred. Rue looked at them and then at Crios. "So... What will Mister Seishu have to do to prepare?"

Crios' ears twitched a little when Rue spoke and he cleared his throat. "He'll have to save up all his energy and I'll be doing a thorough check the day before. And I still need someone to find Kaila." That's when Rasha perked up, but Crios added. "I'd rather someone who wasn't going to get. . . Distracted by him." The cat frowned a little, but went back to cuddling in between his guardians. The doctor nodded towards the siblings and Starla returned the nod.

"I'll go right away. It shouldn't take me too long to find him. And I'm faster than Finn." Finn rolled his eyes at the comment but stayed quiet. He didn't think he should speak after his little 'accident'. Enasi had stayed quiet, still watching Harper as he stood off to the side silently.
There's a basement? Especially ones "with no dead bodies"? Someone can tag along with Ace when she finds the basement.
You guys are very dedicated. I appreciate it. And things are going quite well so far.

Hey that's exactly what my cupcakes looked like, except they were red velvet and the icing was yellow.
Their walk was short lived as Aoba was pulled into an alley once more. In seconds, Kuro had once again pulled him close and flew off to the farm house. Aoba watched everything pass by, still fairly quiet until he was set down in the backyard. Bathing sounded like a wonderful idea after all the hard work they had gone through for the day. It was a surprise that Aoba didn't pass out from exhaustion. "Alrighty." Aoba nodded and looked around for the pipe in order to dig it up as he was told. Despite being tired, he continued to get the work done.

"Aha, I found it." He grinned when he found the pipe. Once it was dug up, he looked around for Kuro, waiting for him to return with firewood. As he waited at the edge of the bath, the bushes caught his attention. Shifting and shaking made him step back a little. When it stopped, Aoba readied himself to make a quick break inside the house. If anything, Aoba was a fast flyer when he needed to be. Something jumped out and Aoba nearly took off. But there was no sound that made him distress, so he looked back.

To his surprise, it was just a random wild rabbit. It sniffed around only to go back into the bushes. "Aw, come back." He said in a hushed tone. He took a few steps forward, but realized that was probably a bad idea, so he stayed by the pipe he found.

Dani had been watching from a far. When Kuro put them in the backyard, he stalked over as quietly as possible. Finding a nice spot, he eyed the angel and then grinned when he was left by himself. Just as he was about to take his chances and risk it all, the bunny caught his attention. 'Hehe, dumb rabbit got two close. Instead of going after Aoba, he attacked the rabbit and ate that. 'What does that idiot brother of mine planning on doing?
Enasi nodded as they all seemed to gasp at the news. "I know, it's dangerous. But I'm not going to risk your lives to come with me. Just as I'd be weakened in the realm, you all would be much worse." He explained matter-of-factly. "There's not much choice. But I'm sure once Seishu is there, he'll manage to heal up a lot more. And that's what we're trying to help with right?" The trio nodded, each giving their own solemn agreement. They were happy to know that the nightmare guardian would be able to get a taste of home again, but having their guardian in such danger didn't sit so well." Crios stayed to understand Enasi's feeling of worry when he panicked about his minions.

When Finn started rambling off, Enasi was going to stop him- but Seishu growled at him. Enasi's hand gently went down to touch Seishu's cheek as if to calm him. "Finn, I understand you're upset but mind yourself. Is it really irresponsible to try and help Seishu try to get healed? " He warned and Finn looked down, stepping back to the wall next to Starla. "And I will tell Harper myself. There is no need for him to get more riled up than he will be."

"Riled up about?" Harper walked in with a raised eyebrow. "Also, Cho will be here in a few hours for lunch." He stopped at the door, with a curious look.

Enasi reached over and petted Rasha before looking over at Harper. With a stern face, he spoke. "I'm taking Seishu to the Nightmare Realm in two days. He needs to see his minions and we need to help him heal up." Enasi didn't leave it up for debate unlike most times where he would let Harper complain and argue.
Superhero cupcakes!

And thank you~ I think.
Runa listened to the girl's rambling cries of forgiveness. It was obvious she was telling the truth, and before she had pleaded for mercy, the captain didn't plan on killing her.

"I'm counting it's alright to kill these guys and steal anything of value right captain?"

"You have my permission Luro." The ship drew closer and Runali walked up to their prisoner. Before she said anything, Luro basically said it all for her. He was right, and Runali simply nodded her approval. The slave ship was a fairly large one, and the more help they had the merrier. So, why not force her to help? "Good idea Luro." She watched as the girl was given a weapon, carefully examining if she would plan to strike out. It would be an insane move, but they didn't know her that well, so it could have been possible. "I'll trust Luro's opinion. Besides, if you make the slightest mistake, they'll get to you before I will. Now I have other things to take care of, so you make you'd decision." Hearing Nolan call to her about the cannons, she nodded. "Fire away."

At this point, the ship was at their right side and already planning to board the Coral Pearl. Their enemies began crossing over and Runa jumped on the plank to block their paths. "I don't think so." The captain tested how well Nolan patched her up by jumping and flipping over one of the crew members before knocking his footing from under him so he fell into the water. There was a dull pain, but it was enough for her to ignore. She knocked a few more off the 'bridge' before grabbing one of the guns and shooting at the center. "Now... Where's the captain of this ship?"

Runali was met with various yells and weapons. "I'm guessing none of you are the captain of this ship. You all are wasting my time. There was a loud cracking sound behind her and the people trying to cross to the Coral Pearl fell in the ocean, along with the makeshift bridge. "Ha! It worked." When she shot the board before she jumped it had weakened it and as she expected they all tried to rush on. Some made it over, and others used the ropes to swing across.

"Hey! Kai, Luro find a way over and subdue these pirates. While we're at it, we might as well free all these poor people. Since we're going to tear the ship down." Hearing this, the others the others figured she was the captain and now Runali was ducking and dodging crew members to get below the deck.
Thanks Kimchi ^^
Thanks Fox ^^

I'll have a post up sometime today, worry not!

And my day is fairly relaxed thanks for asking. I got cupcakes and ice cream for my birthday so I've been enjoying that with some movies. *thumbs up*
Aoba blinked and replaced his drink with Kuro's. "Oh, I guess you're right. Thank you." He took sips of his water and then began listening to Kuro talk. They discussed how to tend to the animals. Aoba asked a few questions, but after a bit of explaining, the tasks don't seem all that difficult. Kuro's fascination with the animals made everything seem much more exciting than it seemed. Aoba thought it would just be more work to do, but that was explained otherwise. "You really do like animals."

The food arrived in haste and Aoba looked at his plate. It smelled pretty good, so he was going to rely off that opinion. His stomach growled lightly to remind him of his hunger and he nibbled on some fries. Seeing Kuro douse his food in ketchup and then devour it made him giggle lightly. He only watched, and then decided to use some of the catch up- of course not as much as the demon. Unlike him, he ate much slower to enjoy the food. "This isn't bad." He said, more noting it to himself for the future. There was the odd feeling that someone was watching him and it made him shiver slightly. But eventually, he ignored it to continue eating.

It was getting later, and less and less people were in the diner. Aoba had finished his burger, but still had a bit of fries left. "I'm full." He learned quickly that he didn't- or couldn't eat that much. He ended up giving the rest of his fries to Kuro, being too full to finish. "It's getting really dark too... Can we go home?" The waitress came over to check on them after some time.

"Are you two enjoying yourselves? Do you need anything else?" Aoba shook his head quickly, not wanting anymore to eat or drink. He pushed his cup aside and watched as Kuro paid for the meal before they both got up to leave. Aoba walked out, staying close to Kuro in dim light. He still had the odd feeling someone was eyeing them, but Kuro didn't seem to panic, so Aoba relaxed.

Dani had flown off ahead, still rather curious about his younger brother's antics with the toy. He decided to hide out for a little bit longer before he left.
