Nice going Mug. Haha, good guessing. And cute little banner.
Enasi sighed as Seishu finally calmed down. His head lowered for a moment and he released the barriers and shields in the room. He hadn't let go of his counterpart's hand at all during the process. His own panicking had subsided for the most part, and his breathing steadied. He let go of the becoming death grip he had on the guardian's hand and looked at him. He held a teary frown, waiting for the nightmare guardian to wake up. Everything around them had faded from Enasi's mind and he only focused on the guardian. 'Seishu. . .? Wake up. Come on, get up. I can still feel your energy. And you should still feel mine. Our energies aren't severed. You have to push through this pain. You have to be stronger than the jerk who did this to you. . .'

He knew Seishu couldn't hear him, but it eased his pain slightly. Enasi hummed softly, resting his head against Seishu's shoulder gently. He couldn't do anything else besides hope for the best. Enasi didn't even know Crios came and went into the room. He didn't even feel Harper approaching. He did feel the tears and the pained emotions from outside the door though and he closed his eyes. 'Wake up. . . Take their pain away. And take mine too. . .' He doesn't know why he's thinking this way. He knew Seishu wasn't dead. But the way it felt made it seem like too much of a close call. Enasi didn't notice as the fox had returned.

Crios stood patiently. He had already administered the shot, so he could only wait for recovery. Noticing the bloodied hand, Crios slipped his way toward the side of the bed and gently took Night's hand to clean it up. He wouldn't do the complete check up until his guardian moved himself from the bed willingly. If it took too long, Crios would intervene. But that wasn't necessary unless Seishu showed signs of panic once more. One thing, he knew he wouldn't let anyone in until he could hear one of Seishu's smart ass comments to know that he was somewhat okay.

Each minion hurried to do their assigned task. Rue and Inui were first, with inui holding tight to the clothes as Rue mustered all his strength to lift the other minion and fly him to the room. He only managed to get them half way, but Inui ran with haste the other half. They were met by Starla and Harper standing guard. Rue landed on his feet gently and held the clothes up. He was almost afraid to speak as the heavy silence weighed the air. Inui was still trying to recover from his own tears and he wiped his eyes. Just like Starla did for her brother, she comforted the younger minion. She had already composed herself, so she was easily able to pull Inui a little closer to rub his back.

Rue gave a saddened look as Inui covered his face and hugged Starla. He wiped his eyes before he could start crying again and watched as Harper leaned down to meet his eye level. The rabbit man gave a gentle pat to the boy's cheek and nodded. "He said Night is recovering. But we have to wait for him to let us in alright?" Rue nodded slowly and went back to the opposite wall to sit down. He sat down and occupied his time by folding the pants and dark blue shirt they had found. Rue stayed strong, as much as possible. He set the clothes aside and hugged Inui when he finally managed to calm down and sit down next to him.

"Harper said he is better." Rue whispered as he hugged him. Inui only nodded, waiting for the door to open.

Rasha came back, hurrying in his human form with a bundle of new sheets. He caught on to the waiting and walked to stand by the two minions. Once more, he had rested his tail around the two. He looked down, staring at the sheets with his ears flattened some. 'Come on Lord Seishu. . . You're better than this! And if I can get my hands on the idiot who tried to hurt you. . .' He realized his claws were unsheathing and he took a deep breath to calm himself.

"We have to stabilize her! Hurry, hurry!" Fuan rushed the doctor's to one of the severely injured patients. The sudden negative impulse had hurt the lasting patients, but like a good doctor she was, she managed to sustain all but one. The doctors rushed to aid to the poor dream minion. Finn had arrived only ten minutes after to see the doctors still and collapsed into chairs. The looks on their faces were not a good sign. He looked around to see Fuan in tears, holding the dream minion's hand. As Finn walked up, she didn't even look up. She only spoke in a shaky voice.

"I-...I tried. . ."

- - - -

Finn had returned with his head lowered. When Starla saw him, she stood straight but froze as he walked past her and straight to the door. Harper could sense the bad news and only stood by the door, looking forward. Finn knocked on the door and waited.

When Crios opened the door he planned to tell them to wait, just as he told Harper, but seeing Finn's expression made his tail fall. He stepped back from the door so Finn could make his announcement, although he didn't think it was an appropriate time. . . Not with Enasi already hurting.

"One. . . One didn't make it. Mika died. . ." It hurt him to know it. The minion went around the human realm with the siblings all the time. They were friends. And someone so close was gone. He didn't blame Seishu though. She was already in bad shape after the nightmare minions attacked her. She was just holding on by a thread.

Enasi's focus shattered when he heard the news. He dropped Seishu's hand and whirled around to his feet. "W-What?" Finn looked down, the guardian only managed to see the tears fall from his face. "No..." He moved away from the bed and ran out the room. Everyone turned to see the guardian rush out the door. Harper stood straight, starting to follow, but he paused knowing that he couldn't sway the guardian at the moment.

Enasi hurried to the medical ward and immediately hugged Fuan when he saw her. "I'm- I'm sorry. I tried all I could." She cried again, but quieted when Enasi comforted her.

"You tried. That's all that matters. It's all you could do."
I have been tentatively checking, and waiting for the One Month Anniversary of this roleplay. It has yet to come. But we shall celebrate when it comes.

Ace wasn't sure what to make of all the craziness going on. The Queen seemed like such a nice lady, but now she was apparently a part of the crimes? The hooded figures, the Queen, Serena, who else could be added to this little batch of crazy. Who else was going to turn on the seemingly nice place of Nowhere. . . Seemingly.

"Mary wasn't it?" She responded as Harper began to ask her questions. She nodded, remembering that experience from before. No doubt the hooded figures were in some of those hazy flashes. "So. . . Queeny could have killed Serena and possibly wanted to kill the hooded figures too. After all, isn't she the one sending us everywhere in Nowhere just to get home. . .?" Ace shrugged the idea. "I don't know, the more you say it aloud, the more it could be true. I mean, what if the list is something of personal gain and the bribe is to send us home? That lady for all we know could be-"

She walked over to Harper and froze for a moment seeing the skeleton. "I'm pretty sure that's, um, real." She looked closer to see if there was anything on the skeleton, but nearly jumped out of her skin when Harper yelled for them to leave. She accidentally kicked something, following Harper and it knocked the bones over. It was so old that some of them even cracked.

Ace hurried out the new secret door and looked around. "Oh great. We're back outside." She looked around and then up. It was still raining, but the only way back inside was through the maze of trees and vines. "So. . ." She looked at her partner and then towards the mansion. "Well let's get going. We should tell everyone our discoveries- and get out of the rain." She didn't too much care for the creepy looking trees and how they swayed back and forth. They made a creaking sound as they did, and Ace was sure she heard sounds of scuffling on the ground.

"This place is creepy." She occasionally looked down to make sure nothing crawled over her foot. "But I guess this is why it's the 'nightmare' area. Still, kind of messed up to throw us under the bus like that." The two walked through the maze-like area into a clearing. Well it was a garden, supposedly. In front of them was a faded and worn down archway with a bench facing a field. But because of the poor care, it was just an empty field with wilted and dead flowers and weeds.

"Well, it's no scenic view, but it's better than the blood paint." There was no time to waste staring at nothing, so Ace lead the way forward to the mansion. The squawking of a few crows made her jump in surprise. Two of them landed on a vine near them and squawked again. "Creepy birds. . ." She looked down at a few twigs by her and Harper's feet and debated if she should throw one at the birds to get them to stop eyeing them.
Enasi expected a retort as Seishu pulled away. Just like always, the nightmare guardian always had a comeback. But this time it didn't happen. The dream guardian immediately felt something wrong, though Inui and the others said something before he could. When Seishu fell back, Enasi sat up looking at him with worried eyes. "Seishu, what's wrong!? Where does it hurt?" Before he could send Rue off, the kid was already out the door. "You two, stay back." The minions stayed back as they were told and stayed near the door, just in case things got out of hand. . . Though that's what it seemed like. "Seishu, focus!" He tried to call him out of the sudden panic, but it wasn't doing any good.

Seeing him dig into his hands, made Enasi grab them and pull them apart. He held them tight, trying to coax the guardian into a calmer state. "You have to calm down Seishu." He held the other's hands down. Oddly enough, that normal tingling in his symbol wasn't as strong as it normally was. He looked down at their hands seeing the symbol on his palm get rather faint for a split second. "Oh no. . ." He gasped softly, ignoring the lashings that Seishu was throwing. He didn't know what to do with the guardian- at this point it started to get beyond simple medical treatment. The minion trying to take Seishu's throne was getting serious. He didn't know how, or if it was even possible, but the minion was sure trying.

Seishu ripped away from his grip to grab his ears, and Enasi flinched when he started to scream. There was blood on his hands from his clawing, but it was easy to ignore. The guardian didn't know what to do, but he refrained from panicking outwardly. He tried to keep his emotions intact, just as he always did. Gently, he held the nightmare guardian's face in his hands. He tried to speak gently in order to get through to him. But talking didn't seem to go anywhere fast, so he did the next best thing.

“Rest you now,
come rest your head.
It is now time
it is time for bed...

He started the lullaby with a shaky voice. His eyes were teary from such pained expressions from his counterpart. He moved his hands down to Seishu's shoulders as he slowly mumbled the song until it was finished. 'Whatever that minion is doing. . . It's working. . . And that's not good. Why doesn't he understand the balance? We'll both end up dying because of him! He needs to be stopped. . .' Somewhere in the song, he had teared up without realizing it, making Inui start to sniffle and Rasha grabs onto his tail, pacing back and forth.

Crios bursted through the door, careful not to get hit by the negative energy. He looked in shock for a moment but hurried to do his job. Without question, he hurried and moved to the bedside and moved the dream guardian away to administer the shot. The siblings came in not long after and pushed the smaller minions out and waited with them. "What happened? How'd he get like this?" Crios tried to get a calm response, knowing that his guardian was panicking- even if he didn't show it.

"I-I don't know! That minion did something. I don't know what he did though. . . It's like he's trying to cut the connection of the guardian's though. . . We may need to hurry and get him over there. . .Before this gets worse." Worried, Enasi sat on the bed, at Seishu's side. He was also making sure the doctor didn't get hurt in the process.

- - - -

"Tch, she should be thankful. I let her live. Next time know your place, unless you want that to you buried." Gin wiped his bloodied hands on a towel and watched as two minions took the broken and beaten woman away. He looked at the forming symbol in his hand, feeling a sharp pain. It only made him ball his fist knowing that for, even for a split second, he was stronger than the former nightmare guardian. And the feeling was amazing.

But the frustration of the nightmare guardian still being alive made him growl out, partially yelling.

"I will be the new guardian. . ."

- - -

"Will he be okay?"

"What's happening?"

Rue was flying back and forth in a panic. His little wings beat faster than ever. Rasha was also pacing back and forth, with his tail twitching furiously. Inui on the other hand was sitting against the opposite wall, hugging his legs and staring at the door.

The siblings looked at each other, unsure of how to answer the questions. "We don't. . . We don't know. Just trust Crios to subdue him."

Enasi bit his lip, wondering what else he could do. This had definitely gotten worse than before and soon enough, if they couldn't tame it, both guardians would end up getting hurt. Finally getting idea, Enasi held Seishu's hand and whispered gentle words. Crios didn't know what he was doing until he saw the negative energy go from Enasi and snake to Night.

I don't know whether to laugh or applaud the song.

Despite the innocent nature he had, Aoba knew fairly well of the suppressed desires that flashed through his mind. It wasn't normal at all, and he understood his less than pure thoughts and didn't know if he should be ashamed of himself or just go with it. He technically wasn't an angel anymore, but he only knew of the 'angel way'. And that way was strict and meant marriage and all that other stuff. It meant commitment and being one hundred percent sure that the partner would be long term. It was a lot of strict ruling that Aoba had already learned, and it would be tough to break. . . Maybe. Again, it wasn't like he was under any rule. . . And he didn't have to necessarily follow-

'I think Kuro had gotten to me. My thoughts are quite tainted. And I'm not sure I approve. . .' He was so wrapped up in his thoughts that he didn't notice the demon scooting behind him until he felt hands on his wings. A chill went up his spine, making his wings flutter gently. He relaxed and let Kuro scrub his wings, feeling a little lighter with all the dirt off them. It was a subtle process, but the gray in his wings was getting darker. Aoba stayed silent as his wings were cleaned. He focused on everything else besides the gentle touch on his wings. For a moment, he tried to see if he could spot out Dani's growls and thrashes, but was unfortunate.

The angel was a little surprised to know that Kuro would be so thorough with his feathers. As his hands move from his feathers to his back, a few pleasing chills made him sigh. He forced himself not to sink lower and escape from Kuro's hand, but it didn't stop him from squirming a little. 'What has become of me? I've been gone from hom- heaven less than a week and I'm turning into something of a heathen. I think. . . Gyah! And to think I just wanted to be a medic.' He sighed a little and folded his wings when Kuro said he had finished. "Thank you." Aoba gave a smile before taking the shampoo. He washed his hair as Kuro left, nodding when he left. "Oh, can you get my clothes?" He called out as Kuro left.

Dani was rolling around in boredom. His short attention span moved from his baby brother and the toy to pure boredom. He was getting antsy and couldn't stop moving around. At first, he stalked around trying to pounce on invisible animals. But that soon got boring, accept when he did catch a mouse and managed to eat that. At the moment, Dani was rolling in the front yard, whining like a child. "Stupid collar. Stupid leash. Stupid boredom. Graooo!"
"Maybe...?" Enasi returned the question with another of his own. Rasha's occasional ear twitches made it known that he was a little more interested than the other two, and for much different reasons. The guardian noticed this when he moved off Seishu's lap and grabbed Inui. 'Poor Inui.' The guardian thought as the minion was pulled into Rasha's hold. His cheeks darkened as both minions were staring at him. One had a more devious look and it made him nervous. Even more so because he couldn't escape. "Rasha is going to steal their cute little innocence away." He thought a loud before hearing Seishu.

"You're not-" He started, only to be interrupted by a kiss. He shivered lightly, but refrained from purring. After doing it once though, it was a lot harder to control being a natural instinct he suppressed. He thought he could just suppress it like he normally did, but his willpower to was a weakened... because somewhere in the back of his mind, he actually wanted to. There were soft sighs of content and possible gentle purrs- ones that could be felt and not heard. He paused, only to listen when he heard Rue's giggles.

But, it wasn't directed to the guardians. They still somehow managed to be distracted by Rasha. Rasha on the other hand was more than aware of what was going on at the head of the bed and the foot of the bed, but he contained himself in order to keep the other two distracted. "Hmm, I don't think I'm trying hard enough. I'm almost sure Inui can purr! We just need to try again! Hey Rue~ why don't you try?" Inui was still rendered captured and couldn't escape.

In between one kiss, Enasi paused putting a hand to the other's chest. "Didn't the doctor say not to strain yourself?" He voiced out in a soft whisper. It was also enough to distract him from purring. He didn't know why it was such a goal for his counterpart. And he didn't think he'd ever figure it out. "You don't want doctor Crios scolding you again do you?"
