I couldn't find the appropriate picture for story time with Kai soooo.....

Take this instead.

Hi guys! *whistles* Awfully quiet lately.
Have any of you seen the show Gurren Lagann? I recommend.
Enasi sat with a small spin of his chair when Cho gave him his plate. Cho bowed when his guardian thanked him and then giggled when he was glad it was still warm. Crios only glanced away when he was mentioned once more. "Well thank you as well Crios." For some reason, the doctor couldn't help the slight flush to his cheeks as he bowed. When he stood straight again, his eyes narrowed to see Seishu crawling out the bed. Before he jumped to conclusions, he decided to see what he was doing. Rue and Inui started to crawl after him, but something in his energy made them pause and hold onto Rasha. As he bowed, all eyes in the room seemed to go wide, except for Enasi. The guardian quietly watched, slowly eating his food.

He's. . . Bowing? But why? That seemed like not only a dishonorable thing, but something Seishu would never do. Bow to a bunch of dreams and dream minions? He must have gotten hurt in the head as well. When Harper spoke and explained it all, the room was still in shock, but they slowly began to understand his actions. No one moved at first when Harper took his place back on the wall. They were all too stunned. But Rue was the first to flutter off to the bed and stand at Seishu's side. His hand rested on Seishu's head and he bowed, gently whispering, "I've been here since the beginning and just as I stand at Lord Enasi's side, I stand at yours in your time of need." He smiled lightly and then fluttered back to the bed.

Rasha went up next, transforming into his human appearance. His hand rested gently on Seishu's head and he purred lightly. "Lord Seishu always can be forgiven." He was going to say something else that probably leaned more to lewdness but he decided to keep it to himself. Inui had nothing to say, more rather, he was unsure of what to say so he quietly put his hand on his head and bowed his head before quietly walking back and climbing on the bed. Harper watched them carefully copy the act he did, not really minding the extra two scents they put in. It wasn't apart of the custom, but it was fine.

Crios went next, his tail flickering near Seishu as he did. Cho beamed as he took his turn, not having a problem with him besides the various times he made him feel just a tad sick in the stomach. When he was done, he walked back over to the cart holding the empty plates, all except two. Finn and Starla looked at each other, thinking the same thing. They may have lost one friend, but at this point he was losing an entire realm. It wasn't his fault- and they never blamed him. So one after the other came up to carry on the custom. First it was Starla and then Finn. And then they both went off to sit back down.

All that was left was Enasi who had been sitting, watching the process with a small intrigue. Every last one of his minions were willing to restore his honor, and probably forgive him. The hostility for him back when things were different was gone. Even Harper seemed to like him a little. Eyes began to turn to him in curiosity, wondering if the guardian would do the same thing. After a moment passed, Enasi stood and handed the plate to Cho. He walked over by Seishu, but instead of standing at his side, he knelt down to be directly in front of him. Everyone looked on, unsure what was going to happen.

Tension seemed to rise as Enasi gently lifted Seishu's head. He stared him in the eyes for a few moments with an almost blank expression. He closed his eyes and gave a small 'huff', his head lowering some. When he lifted his head to face him once more, there was a playful pout on his expression and he crossed his arms. "I've already forgiven you. That should be obvious. . ." He stifled the small smile and pouted like a child. ". . .You called me stupid. I want an apology." There was a small smirk that showed at the corners of his mouth, but he kept his arms crossed as he waited. There was no need for Seishu to be so dramatic- or any of them for that matter, so he decided to end it before Seishu could think to make it 'worse'.
When Father Gerard walked in, he immediately spotted him surrounded by sheep. He was petting their wool to get a feel of their softness. "You've only been here for a few minutes and you guys are already scuffling up your nice coats. Oh well, I guess that's going to be tough to fix." The priest watched the little angel quietly and smiled at how happy he looked. Was he happy here? Even if he was, Gerard wasn't going to doubt that the heavens were a place of happiness as well. "Oh, I didn't see you over there. I'll be right- hm, excuse me. Pardon me. Careful, I don't want to step on you." He spoke to them as if they'd actually understand him.

Father Gerard watched and chuckled as Aoba stumbled out. "I only came over to say good bye and to wish you luck with your new official farm." Aoba smiled, deciding to walk with him to the trucks. "I'll be checking in sometime later. I don't know when, but don't worry, I'll be around." Gerard looked to the impatient truckers and huffed gently. "Alright Aoba, bye for now." He ruffled his hair, only to be hugged once more by the angel. He looked up just as Dani grimaced, and then chuckled, hugging him back.

"I can't wait to see you again. Bye!" Gerard plopped into one of the trucks and they drove off. With a new, more lively ground, Aoba looked at the barn and then grinned. His wings stretched out fully for a few brief moments before refolding. "We've got animals and the little seeds." By then he was walking over to Kuro and Dani with not much else to do at this point. "So do we feed them now? Or do we wait? Or do we start planting these seeds?" At the moment, he wasn't worried about Gerard's proposition. He was more eager to get started on helping the animals or go on to the next step of this human life he was subjected to. "Oh and the piggies are so cute!"
Enasi turned seeing the Nightmare Guardian step out the shower. In response to the wink, he lifted the stack of clothes in his hand. He did so mainly to obscure the bottom half of Seishu. He was being polite and not staring at him. After Seishu acknowledged his clothes, he set them down off to the side and grabbed his pair. He assumed the darker colors were for Seishu so he grabbed the light blue colors and turned his back to the other as he got dressed.

In only pants, he turned to see the other having a hard time. He took a step forward to help, only to be turned away. Enasi was a little hesitant at first, but finally gave in and let Seishu do it himself. Still only half dressed, he decided to fold his towel and hang it back on the towel rack. Just as he reached over, he noticed Seishu lose his footing and reacted on instinct. He was close, so he managed to grab his counterpart's arm and stop him from falling. And not long after, he pulled Seishu up and pulled him forward to step on the towel that had fallen. "Well that was close."

Enasi didn't want to 'baby' him too much over it, not wanting to offend him, so he stepped back and let go of his arms, giving him some space. The redhead grabbed his shirt and slipped it over his head. With a sigh, his will to go against babying or coddling the other diminished and he grabbed Seishu's clothes for him. "Let me help." Though without giving much time to respond, he started to help dress him. The process was slow, only because of out of all the scars Seishu had, he wasn't sure which ones still hurt. So the guardian was gentle throughout the process. When it was over, Enasi gave a victorious smile and lead the way out the door.

They were greeted with bright smiles and content nods. Cho didn't hesitate to jump forward. "Finally you two are out! You're food was going to get cold if it wasn't for Crios and his very plush and lovely tail! Now, sit you two! You must eat!" Enasi blinked and then nodded.

"Oh. My apologies. I didn't mean to keep you waiting." Enasi smiled politely and went over to take a seat on his chair. He watched as Rasha sat up and snickered.

"Hehe, we'll I'd take my time to if I was in the shower with the guardians." He ignored the looks of confusion the two minions next to him gave and sat up, still grinning mischievously.
If I get a chance to go back home. . . I could always prove that I-. . . Well, maybe they don't want me back. But if I try my hardest like Father Gerard said, maybe they will. The internal conflict went over and over in his brain as he waited for Kuro. He looked down at the seeds, reading the labels to get his mind off the other things. "Tomatoes. Corn. Hmm, strawberries." There were a few more but he couldn't read them all because Kuro had walked up. He gave a smile and returned the wave. Gerard's arms crossed and he listened to what the the demon had to say. He didn't understand his doubts very thoroughly, but he watched the two interact.

"Oh, that's good. Hmm, I want to go see them! I didn't get to." He still felt a little awkward about the situation and didn't want to face it at the moment. So, before either male could say much he walked off to the barn. As he did, Dani caught his attention when he snorted and rolled his eyes. He had heard the priest's little conversation and only found it dumb. He wouldn't let his new toy get taking by filth like the priest. Though, he was still avid on getting the toy to be cleaned. "What's wrong?" Aoba decided to stand at the porch, leaning forward curiously.

Dani eyed Aoba as he stood there with those large innocent eyes. It was. . . Weird. Maybe it was an angel thing. "You're really thinking about going back to that wretched place? The one they kicked you out of?" Dani chuckled and sat up, leaning against the side of the porch. "You're real dumb if you think they want to take you back. Obviously you did something really stupid and they don't want you. To be kicked out, you've gotta be a real dumbass. Heh, you're better off being in this crappy place and enjoying it as much as your mortality will let you." Being the demon he was, of course he had a few nasty things to say. It wasn't physically hurting the minion, and Dani got a kick out of it. It was short, considering his wings were on the line- although he knew Kuro wouldn't be stupid enough to do something like that in front of the priest.

Aoba listened, frowning up a bit. What if they didn't want him? What if Dani was right? What if they didn't- he shook his head with his arms crossed tight. "I don't believe that... I won't believe it. That's not how things work up there." Dani only moved back, more into the shade.

"Tehe, you don't know that. You don't live there anymore." And with that, Aoba decided to nod politely and walk off. He had already been debating if he really wanted to go, but the doubt in his mind was only making that more confusing. The priest watched in disapproval as he walked over to the demon once more and began talking to him. He didn't hear what they were saying, but by Aoba's movement, he didn't think he'd like the conversation too much. Aoba had turned into the barn, admiring the animals. He looked at the obviously pregnant cow and patted her head with a gentle smile. The squealing piglets made him laugh gently and he picked one up. The little pig immediately squirmed and sniffed at Aoba, pushing its nose on his cheek.

"Whoa, you're heavier than you look piggy." He laughed and set it down so it could play with his siblings. He continued looking at the animals in the barn and admiring them. While he was at it, he decided to study the feeding schedule as well.
Can't wait to hear it!
"Ah yes. . . That entails that I've been around you far too long. Then again, Mister big and bad is willing to be a good around a few dream minions. How positively sweet of you." Enasi retorted teasingly. The last thing Seishu would probably hear in his lifetime was that he was 'positively sweet'. That was probably an insult to the Nightmare Guardian. All the more reason it made him giggle as he stood there. Seishu's whines were ignored, which shouldn't have been the case because not long after, he was pulled away from the water in mid rinse. He was getting better at hiding his embarrassing blush. When Seishu whispered, he forced away the surprised blush and only cleared his throat. Turn for what exactly?

But that was found out when his head was tilted and Seishu began washing his hair. Oh. . . Being around Seishu also seemed to have tainted his way of thinking. Shame on him. He could only hide a blah for so long until Seishu once again was teasing him. Well, it's good to know he is feeling better. Typical Seishu, making sly teasing remarks to mess with him. The tension of the hostility from before washed away with the soap. And he soon enough found out that he enjoyed having his head scratched. It was probably an embarrassment to think that he'd enjoy being petted similar to how Rasha enjoyed it, just minus all the perversion going through that little cat's mind. When he purred, he barely noticed it until Seishu stopped and Enasi had to wash out the soap. His reaction was a light blush and a small cough.

"I think it's about time we get out." When he was done, Enasi moved back and opened the plexiglass door. He grabbed one of the towels hanging and dried off all but his hair. His clothes were on the other side of the door, so he had to peek out and call someone.

"Rasha I don't think that's a very good idea." Inui started, only to see Rasha slip under the bed. Only moments later did he hear a small yelp and see Rasha scramble and tumble out with the scorpion on his tail.

"Well... I got it..." He flung Spike off his tail and watched him crawl to Inui, hiding in the safety of his hair. Inui smiled gently and patted him. Crios merely shook his head and leaned against the counter, occasionally frowning at Cho every time he'd use his flames to keep the food warm. By that time, staff had stopped coming toward the door, so Starla and Harper walked back into the room. They all made light conversation, keeping their minds off what had happened before. Until all went silent as the bathroom door opened.

Enasi blinked, not expecting all eyes on him. "Um, where are our clothes?" Before Rue could even point Rasha was in human form and grabbing both outfits. Crios and Harper both rolled their eyes as the prankster eagerly got closer for his own personal gain.

"Here you go Lord Enasi~!"

Enasi patted his head, holding the towel around his waist and then grabbed the clothes. "Thank you." Rasha grinned and sighed when the door closed. When he turned around, his ears flattened but he grinned seeing Crios and Harper give him an irritated look. Cho only giggled lightly

"What?" He turned back into his cat form and got comfortable on the bed.

Ace sat up when she saw Riley and Leila appear from the bookcase and she smiled. "Flashy entrance, nice." When Harper made the mention of exchanging clues, she pulled the newspaper clipping out of her hat. She didn't have pockets and she wasn't going to stuff it in her shirt so her hat was the next best thing. She handed the newspaper over to Harper, figuring she would explain where he missed.

"Along with the drownings, there's also someone who really doesn't like those bunny guards. It was not a pretty picture." She remembered the writing on the wall and added. "The rabbits are not what they seem... so it said on the wall. In paint- well it's still debatable. It could've been blood."

She listened to the rest of the findings, giving a curious look when Riley mentioned summoning the Midnight Man. She recalled the old tree saying something about him, but didn't think much of it at the time. Now apparently, it was a big deal. She should really pay more attention to detail sometimes.

Everyone was together and Riley took the lead. She stared at the door with her bloody fingerprint next to get name. She pricked her finger for it and then had been sitting down, hugging herself to fight the cold. The rain really did a number on her. Ace tried to focus on everything but the cold, but then Harper brought it back to her attention. "Eh, I could be worse. A little cold will at least keep me awake..." She couldn't help but laugh between the banter on safety.

"What is safe anymore?"

And rules. Of course. Everything had rules. Ace sighed and decided to TRY and remember them. "Stay to the rules. Only use the glow bugs. Don't go outside- well it's raining anyway. Who wants to go outside in this weather? Oh, um, and don't forget the salt." When they all were placed into a group, she fist bumped Riley and grinned. "Sweet, we're in a group together!" She gave a supportive salute to Harper and Jasper. "You guys will be fine, don't worry! And you have Lesley and Avian. He's a warrior and such." She smiled and then turned to the game Riley had started.

A bright flash made her shut her eyes, only to see writing on the walls. They like just like the messages on the wall in the basement. . . Did that mean the Midnight Man was the one who wrote them? Maybe. . . "So. We have to find a sword somewhere in this house." Ace shook her hat, trying to get at least that dry. But it was to no avail. "Well, I hope he doesn't mind if we trash his house." She said when Harper asked where they would find it.

"Don't worry Harper. With the groups, we'll cover more ground. We'll be safe!" She patted his back before taking a step forward. When she took a step forward she plopped her hat back on her head and grinned.
Riley was already next to Leila, so she pulled Inadi along between the stairs. "C'mon Riley, we'll take the downstairs area. Sounds good?" As she moved forward, she almost forgot the guides and Haku were following them too. "Don't fall behind you three. We gotta hurry after all." As they walked, Ace looked at a painting on the wall.

She tilted her head and stepped towards it. "Hm..." The redhead removed it from the wall and put it on the floor. She tapped the wall behind it and didn't hear anything. "Well, there's no hollow secret door here. And the painting can't hold a sword." She shrugged and kept it moving with the group. She remembered from being with the gang she was raised in that some of the guys would do that only to find secret compartments with money stashed in them. Normally, paintings were where they hid. But this was not the case, so they just had to keep looking.
"It's fine. I'm going to read it anyway. I want to be sure." After placing all the chickens into the coop, he then started to gently push out the chicks. "Out you go little fuzzies. Go to your mommies." He watched them chirp and stumble around cutely and smiled. Gerard watched and smiled gently at such an innocent creature. He really couldn't believe Aoba was kicked out. Sure the crime was punishable, but he seemed like such a naive little kid. It made him sigh a little. I wonder if they're looking down on him now. Seeing what is becoming of him. Poor Aoba is being tainted by demons. . . He doesn't deserve such a fate. "There! All... I think I counted twenty altogether. But they keep moving so I'm not sure. Hm, it's a lot."

Gerard blinked, realizing he had zoned out. "Huh? Oh. Well let's go get the rest of the animals." Aoba nodded and picked up the cages. "Do you want me to help you?" He was confused as to why Aoba felt the need to do everything himself. The angel carried the cages back to the truck himself. "Aoba." Gerard called to him with a slight seriousness to his tone. When the angel paused giving a curious look, he continued. "You do realize, you can come with me instead of living here. I can show you the ways of being a priest. Maybe you can redeem yourself and get back to your home. . . Here isn't safe for you. You're surrounded by demons and they are tainting you."

Aoba paused and looked down at the cages in his arms. The idea of having a chance to go back home. . . The angel looked up at the sky and then back to the house he was thrown to. "I..." The priest patted the angel's back and walked forward with him.

"Think about it. Don't let those demons influence your opinion. You're still an angel. I can see that. Don't become something like them." As harsh as it sounded, he was still a priest. He wasn't required to like them. They were walking past the house, and he noticed Dani staring at them. He wasn't sure if he had heard their conversation, so he just hoped the demon wouldn't threaten Aoba to stay.

Aoba merely nodded, ending the conversation there. He wasn't sure how to respond to the news. It was like a glimmer of hope that he could go home. . . But there was so much doubt. . . Did he really want to go back? It felt different being in the human realm. Kind of like he... actually mattered. But, that was just the tainted part of him speaking wasn't it? "I think the turkeys are left." He said, watching the sheeps get herded off. He managed to pat one of them and smiled gently at their soft wool. Looking in the truck, he knew they couldn't carry all the turkeys. So herding them was the next best thing. "Alright turkeys. Off we go!" They jumped down and flapped around before following the right path.

Aoba spread his wings, giving them light pushes forward and keeping them forward. The other humans couldn't see them so he was fine. As they ran off to their rightful place, one scrambled away toward the house. "No, no turkey. Come back!" Aoba folded his wings and chased after the bird. Dani watched as the food moved closer to the porch. The small demon growled low, prepared to jump on it. He wasn't going to kill it, but scaring the bird sounded fun. Just as he was ready to, Aoba came and scooped up the creature. "Sorry Dani. Didn't mean to bother you." He made it seem like he actually did something to upset the demon. It made Dani give a confused look, before huffing and looking away.

"Your filthy, toy." Aoba blinked, unsure of how to respond. So, he apologized softly and carried the heavy turkey back to the others. "Weirdo..." Dani grumbled as the angel walked off.

"Here you go. Off with your family." The angel smiled and closed the gate and looked at the empty trucks. "We got them all!" He smiled gently, though his excitement had lessened once more. Gerard then handed him a couple of packages.

"Seeds to plant."

"Oh, okay. We, now we have everything." Aoba gave a nod of approval and then waited quietly for Kuro.
Despite the unpleasantries from before, they were once again getting closer. They were certainly a bipolar pair.... Enasi wasn't sure he could keep up with it. He stepped back when Seishu stepped under the water. He wasn't sure how to feel about the guardian in front of him. His feelings were in the rocks, but he wasn't sure if he coins risk it all again. Pain like that shouldn't have had to exist between the two. And it wasn't very fair to put each other through that again, so whether or not they should continue their 'interesting journey' together was still questionable to Enasi. But of course, there was always just focusing on the bow and seeing where that took them. Hadn't they been doing that so far? Acting on impulse?

Enasi smiled at the chance to play- er, wash Seishu's hair. He didn't know why, but he really did like all of his long white hair. He'd never get his own hair longer than it already was, but the look was a nice fit on his counterpart. He cleaned through, making sure there was no remains of anything in his hair. And when he finished, once more did he step back. "Your welcome." Was his retort when he was thanked. Conversation was minimal, Enasi didn't know what to say after the spat they had and it seemed like Seishu was trying to break the ice. At first he used his words to relax the pair, but in the end used his hands.

The Dream Guardian felt Seishu's hands tease and become less and less innocent. Although, he never really thought Seishu was the 'innocent type'. Pressing closer to Seishu only made his cheeks darken, for more reasons than one. But, he didn't pull away. Normally things like this he wouldn't let Seishu have his way, but. . . There was no harm in simply rocking back and forth to the sound of Seishu singing. At last when the male spoke, Enasi listened to what he had to say and nodded in slight agreement. It was true. They weren't given many options, and everything they did seemed to backfire into them. "Maybe it's a sign that fate doesn't too much care for sudden changes. After all, with only one set of guardians before us, the things like rules were set in stone. Not saying. . . It would hurt to break a few rules."

After the song had stopped and the silence had stepped in to torture them, Enasi gently pulled away, surprisingly not wanting to. He thought it over, ending up not as much of a surprise as he thought it was. He wasn't dwelling in his mughļ feelings, already having felt enough of everything for the time being. When he pulled away, Enasi began to finish cleaning.
