As they walked into a house, Enasi paused and bent down to be face to face with Rue. He gave a gentle smile and held both his hands. "I know you'll miss them. And I'm sure Seishu knows Inui will miss you too. But I can't honestly say if it'll happen. Everything is spiraling out of control at the moment, so we have to focus on getting things right. But don't worry, I'll talk to Seishu about these little 'playdates'." His smile faded into a more serious look. "Even if he does agree, Inui will have to get used to his new energy. And having energy at all. The positive energy in him now was only to subdue him from using the negative energy- before he could use it. So it'll be new for him. It'll take time Rue, but stay hopeful and patient alright?"
Rue nodded in understanding and smiled. He hugged Enasi and giggled lightly when he was picked up and hugged. "Now come on, there's someone here with pleasant dreams. I'll show you you how to make their dreams better and how to extract the positive energy just in case you need it. Or become a realm hopper like Finn and Starla." Rue hugged Enasi's neck as he was carried off to one of the rooms.

The plant siblings were on guard, keeping a close eye on the slightest movements or the slightest change in energy. "Do you think. . . Do you think Mika was happy? You know, with her life before she died." Starla spoke softly, helping a garden to grow a little more.
Finn stood under a tree, watching the leaves grow more full around the branches, and the tree itself grow stronger. "Of course she was. You know that. And like she always told you when we were little, 'Every flower is a soul blossoming in nature.' They all come to their end one day, but that doesn't mean it's time to give up growing more don't you think?" Finn watched as Starla smiled gently and nodded.
"I guess you're right."
"I know I'm right Starla."
They shared a small laugh before once more, focusing on their tasks.

With the few questions, Inui had a lot to think about. He also had a little more hope in his survival. His mind wandered over the possible competitions he could be in. The one thing he knew he was good at was the illusions he made to hide his appearance. Other than that, he didn't try to focus on talents too much because he was too busy hiding from everyone and trying to stay unseen. He didn't want to overthink it. He still had ways to go before he would even be thinking of competing in anything.
As Seishu wandered into a nightmare, Inui's mind wandered, wondering what Rue might have been doing. It then occurred to him that he probably wouldn't see Rue again once he left- or Lord Enasi, or Rasha- or any of them. The cat could sense the sadness and licked his cheek in question. "...When I go. . . I won't be able to any of you guys again, will I?"
Rasha hadn't thought about that, and his ears flattened down some. "I don't. . . I don't know. It's something you should ask Lord Seishu. I think he'll understand." He nuzzled the little minion and purred gently before wondering himself. He was curious how that would work out. They still had to take Balance and such into consideration, along with all the chaos going on now. But. . . Seishu saw the blossoming relationship between the two. Would he take that away from them? Rasha didn't think Seishu would do something like that to him.

The sudden change of emotion was still something Aoba had to get used to. Dani went from being joyful to downright furious with him. It came as a shock and Aoba only cowered back, looking away. His words hurt, but Aoba stayed silent as he yelled at him. 'I didn't mean to make you angry. It's just not something I'm used to. . . But I'll get better. I'll try to- His thoughts were interrupted when Dani seemed to be choking. Aoba looked up to see that he was, thanks to Kuro.
Kuro spoke gently to him, but Aoba watched Dani getting strangled. Even though his feelings were hurt by the demon, he still had enough heart to call out softly. "Don't- Don't hurt him too much. Not if he didn't mean it. . ." When Kuro finally turned to look at him, Aoba looked at the ground for a few moments before meeting the other's gaze. With a soft smile, he nodded in response and allowed the hug. But the sweet angel can't help but look over at Dani. "Um. . ." He paused and glanced at Kuro before looking back at Dani who was still coughing. "I'm sorry. I didn't. . . I didn't mean to offend you. I really am grateful though..." He gave a quick nod before moving away and back to Kuro. He fought the queasy feeling her got at the sight of so much blood around the place.
He watched as Dani gave him a look of confusion, not understanding why Aoba would apologize after he yelled at him. But he soon ended up just going to clean off because the fallen angel moved back to the cleaner demon. He watched for a little longer, letting him Kuro toy with his wings. And finally with a nod, Aoba grabbed one bag of feed while Kuro grabbed the other. They both walked to the barn and set the feed down where it belonged. "We still have the cows to feed." He said and examined the area. The sheep were fed, the pigs were fed, the chickens were fed, and the turkeys were fed. All that was left were the few cows they had. Three healthy cows and one of them was soon to have the fourth.
"Are we going to lead them to the field? Or is there another bag of food for them to eat?" The accomplished feeling started to return as he realized they had almost finished settling all the animals in and had them all fed. He wondered how much time had passed since the animals had gotten there. With the nice time he was having caring for the animals, he seemed to have lost track of time- something he barely had track of as it was.

Once again the demon was staring at him with an examiner's gaze. It was odd, so the only way he could avoid feeling terribly awkward was to look away and watch as the birds scratched and walked around. There was a cold chill as Dani hissed at him. Aoba froze as he was commanded to stay. 'If it keeps me alive. . .' The fallen angel wasn't aware of where the sudden anger was directed to, but he surely didn't want to find out. But when Dani flew up, he suddenly found the reason. Aoba only got a quick glimpse, but when he turned he could see a pair of eyes glaring at him. He went cold for a moment, but looked up as Dani roared.
Instead of a fearful reaction, he gave one of slight intrigue. There was still a lot he didn't know about demons, he was sure about it. And this was one of those things. He compared it to the roar of what the other two would call a 'lesser demon' and tilted his head. It still sounds threatening to me. . . But it wasn't as strong as Dani's.' Scary as it may have been, Dani's roar was better. Kuro was a lot faster than he was given credit for. The fallen angel was not expecting him to show up so fast, only making him jump in surprise. He let out a sigh and got up with his help.
"I'm okay. Dani just pounced on me is all." He reassured and shook his wings some in order to get the dirt off of them. The sudden scream made him jump and he moved closer to Kuro. But. . . Kuro was calm, so it must have been okay. He watched as he got more of the feed for the birds and glanced back where the sound came from. "Uh, yeah. Okay." He scooped some of the bird feed and followed him in. He began sprinkling the food around in small circles, just to see how many he could make before a group of birds ate them. Where the little chicks were huddled, he bent down, giving them their own little share. "You guys have to eat up too. You want to be big and strong like your mommies."
Aoba gave a soft smile as they began pecking at the food with small chirps. The sudden quiet made Aoba turn towards where Dani disappeared. For awhile, nothing happened so he turned back to feeding. But as soon as the bushes rustled Aoba looked over again, tensing up. Dani pranced out with a grin. His hands and his right arm were covered in blood, along with his mouth was converted in blood. At least that's all Aoba saw before paling and turning away to relax.
"That. . . That is disgusting. . ." He shuddered, but heaved a deep sigh and relaxed. I have to get used to it. . . They are demons. It's what they do. . . At least I didn't have to see him attacking. He was still fairly pale, but he didn't feel like he was going to faint or puke.
"He's gone! Hehe, I took care of it!" Dani said gleefully as he approached the two. When he got close, Aoba stepped away in discomfort. He was still grossed out, and in Dani's terms, right now, he was the dirty one.

Enasi patiently waited for the two minions to join them. When the plant siblings saluted and walked off, Enasi nodded in understanding. They took their job to heart. The two appeared and Enasi listened to the conversation. He had no reason to put his two cents in. He already was aware of what was going on, and Seishu filled him in on the rest. The guardian knew it was hard for Seishu to talk about what happened, and could only imagine the hurt he was feeling. He brought a hand up and gently patted his back in comfort.
At the mention of Inui going with the Nightmare Minions, Rue whispered a cute "Bye" before waving. Inui looked back and returned it with a short wave before nothing the word "Bye" as well. When Inui turned, Rue watched Seishu walk off. Every time he stumbled, he could feel Enasi tense up or squeeze his hand gently. The fairy gave a comforting squeeze in return and smiled when Enasi smiled.
"Alright, let's go." Now, Rue was beaming. He was excited to see his guardian at work in a dream. He had been in one, but that was to only hide away from being attacked. He didn't know how to alter dreams like everyone else did, which made sense because it wasn't his job to, just like how he couldn't make portals to the human realm. The two walked the opposite way, giving Seishu his space and giving the siblings and Inui space to "stalk" their guardian.
"Will you be sad when Inui has to go?" It was a random question, and it made Enasi look down at the little minion. He gently patted his head and nodded. He could tell there was a sad look in Rue's eyes that he tried to hide, but he said nothing about it.
"Inui was a Dream Minion just as you are, no matter what anyone said. And I love all my minions and dreams. Of course I'll be sad to see him go. . . But it has to be this way for Inui's health." Enasi hugged Rue and smiled gently. "But for now, he's here. And we have to make the best of it." Rue smiled and nodded before continuing to follow his guardian into the home of some human.

Seishu was ways away for comfort and Rue and Lord Enasi had walked off in the opposite direction. But soon his mind wandered to the questions he harbored for the Nightmare Minions. "Is it really survival of the fittest? Does everyone have sharp teeth or something like that for defense? And does everyone fight?" He had more questions but he decided that it would be best not to shower them with questions.
On top of that, he didn't want to be too loud while they were following Seishu around. Inui inwardly sighed, fully expecting answers that would work against his favor. He had the disadvantage of being raised in a soft realm, so fighting wasn't his strong suit. He couldn't imagine himself toughened up to fight.
