So, we already clarified who's going to be noticing the disappearances (me) and then who's going to over hear the doctors (you)~

And we're starting off with them meeting right?
I don't think timezones grace me enough to be on when you all are on.
Sometimes, but not all the time.

Whatever happened to the one that was interested in joining?
Reading that, my first thought was:
*New challengers approaching!*
Damn it, I didn't mean to put the "=" in the title...
~~~
Davie Reagan
Age: 21
Appearance:
Patient? Why: Being a nervous wreck and indecisive is his main faults. Davie always finds something to worry about. All sorts of bad outcomes to an action have already run through his mind before it happens- and normally nothing ever does. Everything is a struggle for him. Even picking out a simple lunch between two choices is a struggle. Somehow he's able to put up a calm facade in front of everyone, but that's just to get doctor's out of his face.
Adding to that, Davie is an insomniac which makes his problems a lot worse. It gives him more time during the day and night to worry about nothing.
Any physical contact can freak him out if he's not paying attention, so tapping him from behind to get his attention may not be the best choice. Sometimes those loose screws in him can cause anxiety attacks, but taking some deep breaths and positive reinforcement can get him back to a stable enough state of mind.
This is where we discuss all things relevant and irrelevant to this story~
The idea I had is set in sort of a 1900s Asylum. It's when lobotomy was legal. So two patients start noticing disappearances of patients. Something isn't right about this "Safe Haven"- as the doctors always call it. Two people, our characters, for some reason notice these disappearances more than the others. Maybe one has a terrible OCD and always counts the patients because it's not an even boy to girl ratio. (Example) Then one day, they (or one) over hears doctors talking about experiments and using the "dead brained" patients as guinea pigs. And well, from there they want to escape.
p
The excuses ran down the line, each person explaining why they weren't the murderer. There was no response to any of the pleas, instead it was filled with an annoying buzz that wouldn't stop. And then in the matter of minutes, the one Izzy would've expected was the criminal was free to go. 'But in the movies, it's always the husbands. He's probably going to get away now. Maybe move to some new country. Oh, I've always wanted to go to Australia, I here it's nice there. Izzy's thoughts ran on a tangent, unfocused on the situation at hand. Though, that poor focus quickly turned into a small frown when she was told she was going to have to spend the night in a cell.
"I don't think my brother will be happy about that. I was suppose to be home by now." She mumbled to herself with a soft sigh before leaning against the wall behind her. Her cheeks puffed for a moment in realization. The girl still hadn't eaten dinner yet, and they were probably not planning on doing anything about it. 'Well this sucks... And I didn't even do anything...' She should've listened when her brother told her not to stay out too long. Then again, she should've listened to a lot of things her older brother said. Now, he was probably panicking and trying to figure out where she was.
Back and forth, police officers went. First to escort the Williams man, and then to escort the rest of them. She found herself in between four guards that ushered them out to a cell. Izzy walked in front of the pack, looking around to see if anything was interesting enough to look at. But, she merely saw ugly pale walls through every turn. One thing that did catch her eye were the police's nifty utility belts. "Those are cool." She mumbled softly, looking down at a taser that was visible. Instead of a response, the police only adjusted his utility belt with a grunt and made sure she couldn't get a hold of it.
Finally, the small group approached the cell. It wasn't exactly hospitable, and it was a little colder than the hallways. The dank smell made her nose wrinkle, but after awhile, she got use to the pungent odor. Izzy noticed another inmate who was caught doing something wrong, but didn't say a word to him. He didn't look like he had much life left in him anyway.
Annoyance and frustration left her mood, and she was left with a relatively curious feeling. How long would it take for them to realize she wasn't the murder? How long did she have to sleep on an uncomfortable bed?
First thing was first though, Izzy took a seat on the bench, waiting to see who would claim the bunk beds. She didn't mind either way, it wasn't like she hadn't slept on benches or poor excuses for beds before. Although, the beds might have smelled worse than the bench... Hopefully the police had decent to clean them.
It was a rather awkward silence as the door shut and the police left. Strangers who knew nothing of each other were all put in a cell together for a crime none of them said they committed. With that, there was probably already a small tension and doubt within others. Some were more than likely pinning it on someone else, examining and watching carefully just to see who they could rat out.
But not Izzy. She assumed none of them did it. They did sound rather convincing. Everyone was innocent in her mind.
It was nice to have someone start a conversation- even if it was old guy that was in the other cell. He warned them about their safety amongst themselves and Izzy merely shrugged. "Eh, I don't think anyone here did it. There's no use killing anyone either. If they did, then all that lying would be for nothing." In her eyes, if they were going to kill everyone in the cell, it was no purpose hiding who they were.
"I'm Izzy. Say old man, why're you locked in here anyway? What'd you do?" She seemed to disregard his name entirely and dubbed him as 'old man'. By then, Izzy had returned to standing, now leaning against the cell bars.
"And what're your names?" She realized the small group still had not said a single word. And since the old guy started the introductions, they might as well finish it as well.
Cops came back to do their check up and Izzy watched them calmly as they checked to make sure no one was trying anything harmful. "Those beds don't look really comfortable for sleep..." 'What funny business could we possibly start? There was no way to escape, unless someone has a hidden weapon on them. And it's not like we'd start a riot... These police aren't going to let up. I wonder what evidence they'll find, so I can go home.'
I nominate the next category to be of food pictures.
You guys find some awesome photos.
SweetCin said And whom be the first reviled? Curious be I
Actually to all comrades, whom be your favorites thus far and why and whom be the least?
Mandatory not to answer, thought amusing it would be
Mature enough I'm sure all are we to not bring about pettiness, jyes?
I like Mogue's character, even though he is just an NPC. *shrugs* He's amusing, accent and all.
Least? The only reason I'd say I like anyone the least is because I haven't interacted with their character yet.
Let's see how far Seishu will go with the teasing :P
Before he could close the door, Rue was bounding and rambling at incredulous speeds. Well, it was obvious to tell he was okay. Enasi managed to hug him back, before Rue began his extravagant tale. As it went on, he listened carefully to the somewhat familiar things before.
'Harper said he felt weird energy as well.' Well that put a definite answer as to how lucid that dream really was...if it was even called a dream. He wondered what they would call that. The dream guardian tried keeping his mind focus while Rue rambled on, but every little thing the dream said made him think of something else dealing with it.
The door slowly closed and he leaned against it. "Uh huh... Really... That is something strange..." Enasi's responses were short, and seemingly distant. His mind wandered to his peaceful sleep, and he couldn't help but give a goofy smile.
Rue noticed his guardian's behavior and gave a confused look. His eyes went to Seishu for an answer, but immediately turned back to Enasi. "Are you alright Lord Enasi? You seem kinda spacey. Were you even paying attention?" Rue crossed his arms and pouted some. Why were both the guardians spacing out today!? This sleep thing must've really been awesome. The boy looked between the two guardians, waiting for one to speak up and explain themselves.
Enasi heard Seishu's comment but kept his eyes on Rue as he spoke up. "Oh, sorry Rue. I was just thinking about what you said. It's just interesting because I had a really, really nice rest too." He smiled at the boy and Rue grew even more curious. Enasi was followed to his usual seat. As he sat down Rue rocked on his toes standing in between the guardians. It wouldn't be bad to tell one soul about his new dream, besides, Rue probably wouldn't go around screaming it to the heavens. Before he began to explain, in order to calm the kid down, he glanced at Seishu.
"Well kiddo, if I'm not mistaken, I think for the first time ever, he had a dream."
"What do you mean for the first time ever? Everyone dreams don't they?"
Enasi gave a gesture of "mostly everyone." "I think everyone dreams except Seishu... And I." There was brief hesitation in his voice as he included himself. Before he could continue, Rue dramatically gasped out at such news.
"That's horrible! And especially for you! Why can't you? Is it bad? Is that why I don't see you asleep when everyone else is? I always wondered why you roamed so much! But when you do fall asleep, you don't wake up for hours! But is that why you always lock the door? I've always wanted to lay in your bed, it looks so soft and nice- What happens when you two normally sleep then!? This is-" Rue felt a hand on his head and with a pleasant smile Enasi spoke up.
"I'll tell you, but you must listen carefully alright?" To show that he understood, Rue climbed in bed with Seishu and got comfortable by his side in order to listen to him. "Okay. There is no definition of why we can't dream. . . But I think it's some sort of curse. Normally, when I- we are both asleep, we only see darkness. It's kind of scary. But this time," Enasi gave a small content sigh and glanced over at Seishu. "I think because we're so close...we got to experience a dream, um, together. It was, rather nice." He found himself thinking about Seishu's hair and his eyes, but he quickly refocused before his mind could wander too far.
