*is excited for the vacation that is approaching soon*
*still has two days*

So how many people are in this RP anyway? I realize I've never been in such a large group before. .-.
Vincent rested his head on his arm, watching the woman beckon them closer. He didn't budge, only glancing over as Kiara took a seat next to him. "Oh that's kinda harsh don't you think?" He didn't want to be proclaimed dead before he reached an old age. Especially by some random woman during some unforeseen circumstance.

The next thing the lady said only made him sigh softly. Well of course the sand was unusual... It was black after all. He listened as she spoke of the truths and legends of the black sand bringing death. It was something way beyond what he knew. In fact, he had never heard of the legend until the woman spoke of it. Even though she made it seem so dramatic and upsetting, Vincent gave an unconvinced gaze.

"Well, that's quite a tale," The male started sitting up, but ended up stretching and yawning. He was by all means not trying to be rude, sometimes that's how things seemed in someone else's perception of him. "Well, lucky for us, we didn't get any in our eyes. At least I didn't." He glanced over at Kiara.

Behind him, regular citizens started to mumble in suspicion, at the moment, too low for them to hear. It was briefly interrupted by the cries of some old man that bursted in. Vincent turned his attention to him, but then put his head back down. "Is that the symptom of the black sand?" This time, he did sit up figuring sleep wouldn't come any time soon.

"This hasn't happened in many years...in fact, not since the town was built.."

"We were all fine, even with the sandstorms... But then those two showed up and this started once more."

"Now, we can't go makin' assumptions about them. It's not right."

In the small town where everyone knew each other, of course it would be kind of odd when not one, but two young new travelers came up and the black sand appeared. It looked bad, but at least some were willing to approach the situation fairly.
The end has come!
I can officially say, I've been in a chapter.

*is excited for the new chapter, season, arc, book, etc.*
Why thank you~ ^^
Ace is just there to keep everyone on their toes, and to be the backbone of the introverts. Ha, although a certain drunken introvert has stepped out and taken over.
Welcome to the potential new member~ of course awaiting the Grand Master~
And to the wanderer, I have seconded Butcher's statement. You'll be welcomed.
A vacation!
It rolls around the corner.
A whole week I get to myself (minus the work I've been given).
Who is happy? Well me obviously~
"Ah, that's too bad." He sighed and then gave a shrug. Vincent took the handshake as he introduced himself. "Vincent Asher. And I-" The gust of wind made him turn around immediately. He flipped his hood on shut his eyes, listening to the screams of distress. The winds stilled, giving him time to realize the sand was black. "This is new..." As Kiara nodded her farewells, the storm seemed to start again, and he was in the middle of the town. He let out a short groan, not wanting to get sand in his mouth.

The only place he could go to now was the tavern, but the storm picking up deterred him from knowing which was it was. "What a pain." Being in the middle of a storm of unusual black sand was not the number one thing on his list. Sleep in fact, could've been number one. He tried retracing his steps, but he continuously ended up at the fountain. At least he knew for certain that he was still in the middle of town. "I should really leave...before this kills me or something." Now he was concerned about actual safety.

Surprisingly enough, he was once again fortunate. That was two for two on his luck streak. How long would this last? Unable to speak through the storm now, Vincent rather calmly offered the female traveler's assistance. 'This is why acquaintances are always nice to have.' His thoughts were interrupted as Kiara tugged him along so he wouldn't get lost. It took a minute or so, but they did eventually reach the tavern.

The male took his hood off, and dusted the black sand off himself. "Well that was eventful.", was the first thing that came out of the male's mouth. He was impressively calm still and once again took a seat on a stool- the same one to be exact. "Thanks Kiara. For the guide here. I would've had to wander my way out of that." He noticed the others cowering for safety, slowly catching on to the fearful expressions. "By the way, Miss?" He spoke to the lady in the yellow dress as if he had never left. "Correct me if I'm wrong... Black sand, that's not normal around here is it?"
Pardon me if it seems like I god nodded the post- I was just trying to get them from point A to B without having to jump back and forth between short posts.
"So they're not going to let us out, without the list in their hand. Guess everyone loves to be complicated huh?" Ace stepped toward the exit but stopped as Jasper walked forward. With arms crossed and a playful pout, Ace spoke. "Hmph. Jasper you're just taking all the fun." Ace spoke with a laugh, but watched the sudden bravery as she smashed that familiar green slime into one of the Nobodies' faces. She couldn't recollect their names, only hearing them once or twice. And they were bad guys, even if they looked like regular humans that were mildly attractive. That's probably how they got to people. Lure them with those innocent faces only to be bashed over the head with a pole.

In the midst of her thoughts, Pinky was wailing about the one with green goop on his face. Her face had turned pink too. Why was she blushing? "Is that your boyfriend or something? I think Pinky is the jealous typer Jasper..." And all of a sudden, the girl was perfectly calm. "She's almost as weird as Mado." She commented before crossing her arms under her chest. The one without a name calmed the raging pink girl and then spoke to Harper, or at least the group. "You can't remember your own birthday Harper? I think that's something everyone should remember." Although Ace didn't know her exact birthday, she did adopt a day to celebrate it. That day was. . . That day was...!? She couldn't remember! It was one thing she kept dear and she couldn't remember.

'No need to panic. It's not even my actual birthday. I could always... Always adopt another day.'

There was no use dwelling over small things, so she continued with the now. That now being the evasion of a fight once more. It made her frown, but the damage done was enough. A bleeding head, a drunken girl, a- Ace winced when she put her hand at her side. The adrenaline rush was wearing off and the pain from some of those hits kicked in. She probably had red or purple bruises dotted along her skin. "I want payback..." But with the guides entering, it didn't seem like that would happen. Despite being a little annoyed that she was hurt, she gave a bright smile to Cello. "Long time no see kitty! And, we're still living~ so we may have been fine."

'Those bunny girls... I know their names... As Ace was contemplating their names, a song began playing. Instead of trying to find the source, or passing out, Ace stood still and listened. Flashes of memories played quick and Ace failed to keep up, though she did try. Hopefully she wasn't the only one with the weird dreams because interpreting them would have been a real pain.

When it was over, Ace was on the ground. How she ended up there was a story for some other time. She got up, ignoring the random bouts of pain from different areas on her body. "That was kind of trippy." Ace said, running her fingers through her hair.

"So... What's next?" Despite the injuries, one task finally completed, and the weird song, Ace was ready to get going. There was no reason to slow down now! After all, didn't they say we didn't have much time? With the guides around, everything should've been a lot easier too. So, Ace expected everyone to gather themselves and to keep moving. It was what her life consisted of.
I'll post in the morning~
