Nice art is nice.
". . .wake up. . .wake up. . .hey, are you listening? I said wake up you lazy asses!"

Vin could've sworn he heard a voice. It was unfamiliar, so he continued to lay there. Though, once he felt his consciousness wake, he was almost sure he wasn't going back to sleep. . . Especially with that damn bright light! The male rolled from his side to his stomach and looked at the bright sky. It was cloudless, and then he noticed the endless amount of sand everywhere.

"I always thought the afterlife would be more... I don't know, inviting."

Slowly, he sat up and glanced over at Kiara. Well this was weird. He was dead with a chick he barely knew. It could've been worse. She mentally shrugged and looked up as the man above them spoke. He examined his wardrobe and then looked at him. Maybe he was stuck with two people for eternity?

Vin cleared his throat after Sandal introduced himself. "Uh, yeah. What do you mean it's our lucky day? We're dead aren't we?" Eventually, Vin's sitting became standing, because he didn't want to look up at the man anymore. Just because, Vin decided to put his hand out, offering to help Kiara up.

"If we are dead, what does that make you?"

Dead or alive, the sand was still annoying. Thankfully, it only got info his hair and not his clothes. He was easily able to dust that off.
I can see Jasper freaking out because someone is making a bloody mess, and she for a moment she forgets she's supposed to be healing them.
*le gasp* !

I actually like that idea.
Ace, the fire swordswoman. It's either that, or she becomes some sort of demolition expert. But, pfft, that's not a class.
Woo~ Fire Swordswoman!
I still haven't picked a class for Ace.
Waaaahh, I don't know.
Eventually I'll figure something out...
"Your plans aren't working too well are they..." Vincent had moved away from the gun as bottles were thrown. "How bothersome..." He sighed and looked at the door. They were trapped in still. The storm an an angry mob were blocking his path. It was time for him to pull out his own weapon. The simple pistol was drawn and he shot through each bottle that was tossed, purposely making the glass shatter on the floor. Maybe that would stop them from advancing...

It turned out, since they were really mad, they didn't plan on stopping- any time spoon. He noticed Kiara in the same predicament he was in. They were being separated and then backed into individual corners. "Can we just-" Another piece of furniture was thrown, and he ducked. "I guess not." He noticed that instead of being cornered, he was surrounded. People were on all sides of him. He really, really didn't want to kill any of them... So he shot at their feet, making them stop in place.

With a sigh of annoyance, Vincent called out. "Hey Kiara... It was nice meetin' ya. Even with the...poor circumstances." He chuckled lightly and suddenly felt glass impaling his side. Gunshots rang through his ears, but they weren't from his own gun. His gun was tucked away again. The male doubled over with an unknown pain in his chest. "Dying hurts worse than I thought."

Rebel held a triumphant grin, hearing Webster chuckle. Good, he was satisfied. The grin turned into a devious smirk when he was given the orders to kill said victim. "You'll enjoy my torture. They always do." Rebel faced the victim and gave a wink. Claws unsheathed, but hearing the clarification, he gave a childlike pout before nodding. "Without a sound, without a trace. Yes, sir."

"Look at me." He commanded again, this time holding the woman's cheeks in one strong grip. She had her eyes shut tight and he growled lowly. With his blade, he created a few gashes to get her to gasp out in pain. Once her eyes caught his, she was locked like before. "Good girl." He cooed and then chuckled. "Penance stare~" He said softly and watched as the woman's eyes widened with fear. Suddenly, parts of her body became petrified and with a tap, the stone shattered and turned to dust. Rebel clasped his hands together as she stayed frozen in fear. Slowly, the rest of her turned to stone. "No witnesses." He tapped the stone again and she turned into sand.

"Not the most exciting death, but it'll suffice." He noticed Webster leaving and he quickly caught up.
Oh! Oh!
I can do the second!
(I don't believe the picture is truly necessary but don't quote me.)
*ahem*

Before the Carnival began, there was a meeting that put everyone in distress. The impossible happened. The impossible being, 12 carnival workers disappearing from the Carnival without a trace. This is thought as impossible because they are all contracted to Mr. Seil. So, he has their souls- and no one is able to escape. Even the fortune (An NPC) couldn't find them. So after the meeting, some are more cautious. Oh, the new found info is also the reason Rosalina is locked away so much. Everyone is in danger. (During carnival hours)
There were performances, soul taking, and the likes.... Then two new recruits came in being Nathan and Nalia. In the midst of such, Vol and Crow found something that might lead to figure out who is the kidnapper or worse... Murderer. So, as they are in process of going to see the WishMaster, Andracos, Eikki, and CeCi got into a dispute all because they...well wanted to protect Rosalina. (They all overreacted.) Lao came and offered tea and sweets, Ty came in and became the one that "saved" Rosalina, and those three are now in Mr. Seil's tent or lounge area (you should look at the picture it's nice) and Ty is informing Rosalina about all the things she missed because she is the Information Specialist.

Hm... Three pages... I do believe that is all the important information. Also, we've been missing Peyote, Clover, and Quarthex lately. Astarael spoke of being slow in posts until the 15th.
*nods* I do believe that was all.
Pardon me if I missed anything.
A skip it is!
'Don't worry, the monsters won't get us here.'

He flinched under her touch, but after a few moments relaxed. Floretta was nice- and she didn't try to hurt him. Since he finally decided to be comfortable around her, he decided (after thinking over and over) that he would talk to her again. At least, he would try to talk to her again. Then he just decided instead that he wouldn't shy away from her when she approached.

Listening to her try and say competition, made him laugh softly. "You're English is funny." He realized that might have been rude, so he quickly apologized. Soon, they were coloring. He didn't know how a random girl named Floretta managed to get him to not only speak, but color as well, but he didn't mind it... It was kind of scary. What made the doctors even more interested was the fact that Davie would still shy away from other patients that approached the two or were curious to see what they were coloring, and yet Floretta was still able to sit and they were able to color together. Maybe there was some hope for the two patients... Maybe.

"L-Look. We finished." Davis gave a satisfied smile seeing four whole pictures colored in. Instead of choosing between animals, they decided to just color them all. "They- They're really nice." He looked down at the pages before glancing at her. He didn't make eye contact for too long, but he did acknowledge her. "What... What now?" He looked around, seeing patients wandering, some like zombies, while others danced or played around.

To answer his question, a soft ring sounded and the doctors started spreading out to the patients, helping those who needed it. "It's time to go to your room." A few patients said, walking past the two still on the couch. Davie over heard this and then blinked. "Oh, I think I have to- to go to my room now." It sounded like a little safe haven.

Davie waited for the exit to clear out before he stood to leave. He didn't want to accidentally bump into someone while he was walking. "Um, bye Floretta." It was all he managed before he turned to walk hurriedly to his room. Davie was unsure if there would be some penalty to not going to his room, so he hurried. When he walked in, he looked around the small space and sat on the bed. It wasn't as soft as the one at home, but it wasn't too bad. "I...I want to go home." He frowned a little, wondering why he was sent to a hospital in the first place. He wasn't sick. The last doctor's appointment he had confirmed that he was pretty healthy. With a sigh, he laid on his side, hiding under the blanket.
Even with the subtle delays, I'm still curious as to where this will take us.
