Nope, too late. Now I'm thinking about it. XD
Ace will eventually be sad. Don't know how or when, BUT it has to happen now.

Edit: Yes Pach, Fox was being very explicit with those photos.
Unlike Kiara, Vin was mildly entertained by Sandal. His jokes and sarcasm was rather amusing- and he didn't deny the comedy when he toyed with Kiara. But as usual, he stayed silent as they had their back and forth, or more rather when Kiara got upset with him. "So Webster and...his assistant." Since the name was questionable, he left the assistant's out.

Sandal went on to tell them how he was practically going to be a useless benefactor in the situation. "Well this sucks." The male shook his head. Not even he wanted to accept Sandal's little joke. Not this time. It had gotten too realistic for him. The Big Man Upstairs must've had some serious faith in them. 'I hope you remembered that this is your own enemy, not ours. Well, in the sense of, it would've been nice for you to smite him for something.'

His rambles in his head were ceased as the growling proceeded and grew louder. That didn't sound too promising to start with. So much for being eased into the situation. "Just jump right in, huh?" Sandal had disappeared at that point and Vin spoke with a trace of sarcasm. "Tch, he's given us plenty of time to 'learn the ropes' and hope not to die." Casually, Vin pulled out his gun as the growling grew even louder. "Alright, you heard the guy. Don't screw up."

Just as the click of his gun could be heard, there was a shift of movement on the ground floor. The color was seen first, being a pale gray. "At least they don't blend in with the sand?" He tried to give a positive thought as the small handful turned into a large group of these pale gray creatures. They resembled large lizards in a way, with their thick scaly skins and heavy tails brushing through the sand behind them. It caused a cloud of dust, which Vin made sure he would steer clear of. The little monsters were quick on four legs. "Sharp claws and sharp teeth. How about we just make sure we don't get hit. At all."

There were probably around twenty or so of these rampaging demons. They hissed and growled as they approached. At first, they all planned to scatter through the town to see what they could find- but seeing two humans standing there, almost challengingly, made them growl more. "They obviously don't like people..."

Vincent aimed his gun and fired right at one demon lizard. He shot its back, causing the impact to knock it off track, but it jumped up once again, more furious than before. "It didn't work?" He gave a look of frustrated confusion, beginning to shoot them once more. A few times, he would get the same result, and others would die once they were hit.

"They're armored. Don't waste your time on shooting their backs. Straight shots to the head." He informed, as Kiara attacked the little monsters too. Noticing one trying to sneak up on her, he pointed his gun as if to shoot at her head, but instead of hitting her, it hit the demon mid-jump attack. He gave a faint smirk and turned to his own issues. "You can thank me later."
Bwahaha, that'll be interesting. To both

I feel that once if Ace is crushed then like immediate feels or something... *encourages this*
Creepy little demons it is!

With kid like happiness, Ace stopped burning pastries and happily took the sundae from Harper. She definitely didn't stop and hide the puddle of melted chocolate under a napkin- and a small plate... And the candle didn't blow out because of her toying with it. Nope. Not all. Must've have been the breeze or something like that. Quietly, Ace ate at the surprise sundae. Or sundae surprise. So far, the only thing that surprised her was how good it tasted. It didn't need to be repeated that she had nothing like it ever before.

With spoon in her mouth, she looked up when Jasper asked her question. "Mmf, Thass, a good questiom." Her words were distorted, but nonetheless, she could be understood. Her gaze went over to Leila for a brief moment, realizing she had not said a word to the girl. She would have said something to make up for it, but the Queen started to speak. So, Ace settled with a happy wave before focusing on the woman in charge.

"Yes, they were just like you...but they went mad."

So that's what had happened? They didn't get everything as planned? It was quite a shame to hear such a thing, but then again, Ace still thought it would be nice to live in Nowhere. She was biased about her opinion obviously, but understood that everyone had important things when they got home. Ace didn't voice her opinion on that. She never did. Just as when Harper spoke of what they wanted to return for when the groups had been divided, she never answered. Not too delved in her own thoughts and misgivings, she noticed -and probably assumed- Harper paling in shock.

"Hey, no worries! It's alright, we've got a good group. I trust that we'll get everything in time. You guys are pretty smart and tactile- and kind of weird, ha, so put it all together and we're one heck of a team!" Ace pushed the empty bowl forward, this time, not rushing to replace it. She didn't want to overindulge and then feel sick when she stood. Ace wasn't that insensible. "Just focus on your goal and why you want to get out of here. That should be motivation enough, right?"

With the new information- with the knowledge of other people Ace got to meet, she bounded after the queen. "I didn't know there would be new people! Awesome!" She was in step with the queen for awhile before she paused and looked back at the three. "Well don't just sit there! We have to go say hi to them!" Instead of waiting, which she probably could have done, she walked back, urging them along. It was something Harper and Jasper should've been used to- but this time it was probably the sweets she took in that made her do it. And yes, even Leila got urged along. No one was to be left behind!

Ace took the lead and -surprisingly- waited for the door to be opened. Upon seeing them, Ace scanned the group. There was five of them. Rescanned. Oh wait, one of them was a Nobody, so only four. Two guys, a girl, and one she wasn't quite sure- but the person had bright pink hair, kind of like Pinky. She didn't mind it of course, and gave a welcoming smile. "Hi th-" Ace paused and then shook her head. "Wait, that's not right." She gestured towards the Queen and let her speak first. Let the girl in charge speak first. And then you can speak.'

Ace waited for the Queen's welcome, and of course, whatever else she had to say. Once it fell silent, Ace waited just a few more seconds. Just in case she had anything else to add. . . When no more was said (or when she was done again) Ace grinned and gave her own greeting. "Hi there! Welcome to the group! I'm Ace! I'm sure you guys'll have fun with us. And," There was a pause as Ace rocked on her toes for a few moments. "Oh you should try the sweets! They're wonderful!" Now, everyone else was able to introduce themselves.

As friendly as Ace was, she was still weary of people being cross. Not to her, but to the ones she seemed as her friends. So if one of them so happened to do such, she wouldn't hesitate to intervene.
*turns on a fan because it's getting way too hot*

*Woa-dere*
Will they have to do that?
Some type of "leveling up" ordeal?

*beat the smaller demons before you beat The head demon!*

Or?
The feels are strong in this one.
