Vincent tilted his head towards Kiara when she laid next to them. "You've got some luck." He pointed to her wounds. They looked entirely me painful than they looked. And they looked pretty bad. "You look pretty bad." He teased lightly.
At her mention of the next plan being up to him, Vincent laid his head back. That was actually the least of his worries at the moment. His normal priorities settled in again; a good nap and probably some decent food.

His head turned to Mary and he gave a light shrug. "I had help. It was a team effort." He humbly shrugged again, staring up at the dark, cloudless sky. Webster interrupted Vincent's drifts into daydreams.

With a sigh, Vincent sat up, but glanced over at Mary. "You remember the story I told you? You know, before you fell asleep?" Vincent leveled his gun and watched Webster struggle to get closer. "Well, at the end, I'm going to add that the big bad monster not only got a bullet to the head, but in the stomach too. Just to make sure he was down." With a nod, just as he said, he sent a bullet into Webster's stomach, and a second to his head. Either both, or one of them would hit, but at the slow pace he was moving, the three could easily get away.

"That guy is persistent. But I'm sure he won't be able to do much for a long time, considering his eyes are gone." He thought about it, and looked up at the sky again. "Wasn't stopping Webster our deal? Shouldn't there be like some dramatic entrance from one of the angels in order to send him away? Or is that just a fantasy and we actually have to do that ourselves?"

From the prettiest sight to the calmest smell, everything was so peaceful and serene. And Enasi knew he could probably get lost in it forever if he wanted to, and more so if he could. From liking at the pretty view, he sighed as the gentle breeze blew. Enasi's own hair ruffling in the wind made him glance over to see Seishu's whipping around.

The gasp made him watch Seishu run towards the cliff. Enasi tensed and stepped back, in front of the white locks wildly wipping around. He let a soft sigh, relaxing and reminding himself that nothing bad could happen in a whatever this could be called. Dream? Illusion? Whatever that allowed the two to be where they were. "Seishu, um, maybe you should be a little more- S-Seishu!?"

Did he just watch the nightmare guardian fall off a cliff... Happily? He hurried to the edge, peering down at the mass of clouds. And with wide mesmerized eyes, he saw the jet black wings flapping to keep Seishu in the air. "Wow." Enasi mumbled and watched him fly around. The male blinked a few times when he was gestured forward. "I don't..." He shifted on his feet nervously. "I can't do that." With a shake off his head, he stepped away from the edge of cliff. No matter how fun it looked to fly, he was not going to jump off the cliff to test it out. There was no guarantee that he'd even fly, so Enasi kept his chances.

The Dream Guardian looked away, almost shyly as he watched Seishu gesture him forward. Enasi noticed the pure excitement and joy when he flew around and wondered if he'd get the same feeling, but he wasn't going to be persuaded to just jump.  For safety, he stepped back again.

It seemed everyone was planning on resting. It was completely silent on the halls, except for the occasional minion wheeling a cart into a room, but that even stopped after awhile. There was an ultimate setting of peace in the  Dream Realm. . . At least for now. Who knew what the Nightmare Realm was up to. They were to keep light on their toes if something went wrong. But it seemed as though it was only above the surface where the calm and peace rested.

Underneath the surface were rebellions, and hurriedly saving lives, along with the stress over it all. It wad much different than the Nightmare Realm though. There it was either pledge their allegiance to Gin or face consequences. Of course there were those secret forces that Kaila led, still awaiting their next move.

As Rue peacefully rested alongside Seishu, that weird energy made him a little happy, even only if it was because Lord Enasi now could be at peace while he rested. He had noticed Harper's look of shock when he was told the news, and curiously wondered what he was thinking. His thoughts eventually slowed down after the last thought of asking what Mister Seishu and Lord Enasi were dreaming of this time. And soon enough, even the hyperactive kid was resting at bay.
Vincent heard the squishing sound where he knelt. His nose wrinkled in disgust, and then he couldn't help but flinch when he heard Mary start to move. He braced himself for whatever wrath that was to come... Only to glance over and see her...roll over? A huge wave of relief flashed over him, before he caught the shadow of... Sandal? "Heh, you are a big softie." It was either that, or the Big Guy gave another freebie.

His attention turned to Webster who was shakily getting into his feet with both eyes shut tight now. Blood dripped from his eyes and mouth- a gruesome sight but still... They blinded the devil.

"Good morning sleepy head." Vincent glanced over his shoulder, falling to his butt now that the job was near done. He aimed his gun once more at Webster and smirked. "You lost Webster. You finally lost." He chuckled lightly and then shot the bullet right between his eyes. "So. You're two for two Kiara. What's the third to get him outta here? Inked he'll do that on his own." It was going to be too easy to shoot him down now.

For once, Vincent fell backwards, so he was lying on his back. He stretched to the heavens and let out a much needd yawm. His confidence in them winning rose a little and he heaved a sigh. "Man, this has been a long few days... or two days..." With so much going on, he couldn't even keep track of the days!

Vincent glanced at Mary, although she was upside down, and spoke. "We're still trying to take down the devil. We got both his eyes out, now to send him home." He hadn't felt so confident since when he took his first step into the small town looking for directions. And that felt like ages ago. His calm had wavered back into place and he relaxed. Now that Mary had woke, he could feel his muscles ache and his body getting tired all over again, but all those wounds that could've killed the two were missed by Death so they were practically null and void.

Kiars found a way to cheat Death. At this rate, they should have kept a tally on their deaths. Realizing Webster was still alive and well, he sat up and watched the now crippled monster. What would he try and do next?
At first, Enasi fought sleep like a stubborn child. He complained to himself that he wasn't tired, and that he wasn't hurt.  Well, the hurt part was true, but laying in bed made him more and more drowsy. He thief thinking of so many different things to keep his mind going. The accident, the party before, the bad doctors, but nothing could keep his mind focused, sleigh every time he did think of something it seemed it would revert and always remind him of Seishu saying:

"Totally worth it."

And soon, Enasi found himself in the darkness. With a mental sigh, he of course assumed his fighting didn't work. The thought of before when the two were both sleep hadn't crossed his mind yet. He was more focused on the fact that his senses had been cut off once more.

It was a dreadful feeling, but all he could do was what he always did when his body needed to rest; sit and wait. His mind wandered to the many events today and before. And somewhere along in his thought process,  a sudden smile came to his lips at the thought of being able to have that dream again. In fact, his hope was short lived because the tingling in his hand told him what he needed- wanted to know.

'He's here. ' Enasi thought and paid attention to his surrounding. At first it was still black, but soon he could feel the cool breeze and feel the hard stone ground. It wasn't like before with the lake and trees, this time he felt somewhere high. He thought a mountain or a cliff, hoping to see a nice view of something.

The burgundy haired male stood just in time to see Seishu running toward him. When stops right next to him, Enasi decides to be the first to speak.

Can't believe I almost forgot about this.

He walked forward, trying to find the edge of where ever they were standing. Or at least trying to find more to look at. The sky soon became eminent as well. Instead of the pretty night sky before, it was a dusk or dawn setting. That moment right as the sun set for the day. The sky was a pretty picture of oranges and reds and yellows. His eyes lit up in awe and he smiled. It was almost as genuine as the first time.

It's always so pretty here.

He spoke as of they had been there countless times. Enasi stopped marveling for a moment and looked over at Seishu, to see if he was walking with him.
Vincent hobbled backwards when Kiara jumped in to block the blade. "This is insane...This insane." He chanted as he raised the gun, watching the fight. It didn't help that the girl only agreed to the notion. Vincent's normal calm was starting to fade to show his true colors of nervousness. But who could blame him? He nearly died more than once.

Kiara continued to fight, and Vincent stood, waiting for the right time to strike. It was going to be a lot harder now considering he wanted to hit when Kiara was being attacked. He was still in a bit of shock that he let the girl talk him into this. She was basically asking for death. Well, they wefe both practically at death's door anyway.

His grip tightened on the gun when Webster began stabbing her. At this rate, Kiara would have been dead even when Mary woke up. She was going to lose way too much blood. He aimed to take the dhot and stop Webster. Suddenly, he found himself having to dodge bullets, which was a lot harder to do with a practically dead leg. It was proven difficult when he was shot in the shoulder. It didn't hurt thanks to the kid being sleep, but it was still a bad feeling. And the force sent him stumbling backwards. He fell right next to Mary and froze when she shifted, but sighed in relief when she stayed asleep. "That was way too close..." He heaved a sigh and lifted himself on one leg.

He couldn't wait any longer. He had to shoot before he missed the chance, and before Mary woke up. He waited for Webster to pause before he took three shots. Two went into his eye and the other went into the hand that was stabbing Kiara. He couldn't jump up as quickly due to his leg, so he braced to receive the immediate reaction of Mary's wrath. Of course, he could only watch Kiara. There wad no way he could help her now. But the sudden impending doom feeling made his anxious, and a little panicky. Which was a first because he was normally calm and collected.

The sky darkened and the wind picked up. Ace was focused on getting to their destination. Even she was getting tired of all the climbing. "This is boooring. And tiresome." She called back to Serenade, giving her opinion of her being alright. Rock after rock, and climb after climb. Ace had long since given up on bounding and being wreckless. If most of her energy was gone thanks to the mountains, she would be way too tired to accomplish her goal. The mention of wolves made her look down to Avian. She laughed a little as she spoke. "By the sound of it, these wolves may not be too friendly." And of course Riley was there to spark the flame of her enthusiasm.

"Pfft, we have powers. Wolves? They're just over-sized puppies."
"I mean we can just burn 'em, right Ace?"

This made Ace grin and put a thumbs up in the air. "The wolves have nothing compared to our skills! Nothing can stop us now!" She looked at the group and then continued upwards.  "We're like, at our prime. If sonnet of us can survive near death experiences, I'm sure we can do or again!" When Serenade stopped, Ace huffed a little. "Hey, come on, we're losing day-" The howl pierced the air, making Ace look around. The wolves were much closer than anticipated. But no matter. She could still help out and stop them.

There was flash of light, a crackle of fire, and a soft green glow. Suddenly, elemental wolves surrounded them.

Seeing the less than normal wolves, Ace's eyes widened. Not in fear, but in awe. Each wolf represented an element. Fire, air, earth, and lightning. It wasn't a complete set considering there was no water wolf, but they looked amazing! "Incredible! Their beautiful!" She had to squint and turn her head when the gust of wind pushed at them. Screams of retreating and going into caves were drowned or by the wolves snarling and growling, along with Ace's astonishment. She was snapped out of it when she heard Riley yelling to attack. She climbed to the more even path next to Harper. Before she pulled out her weapon, Harper suggested leaving. And then she noticed their guides sick in place.

"It's alright, it shouldn't be too hard-" Once again, her fighting was put on hold because Avian and Vicky were running toward them and ushering them out of the way. Ace found herself climbing the mountain once again alongside Harper. "Aw man... I could've helped." With a sigh, she continued climbing.

"There's the cave! Let's go!" She managed to get to another even surface and help a few others get to the cave. The shake off the earth made her hurry into the cave. "Ow..." She mumbled when a rock, thankfully not to large, hit her head. She took her hat off and rubbed her head before putting it back on. Just as Ace stepped in, the cave closed completely. She looked back, realizing how close that came to crushing her. With a whistle, Ace looked around in the dark cave. "All of us didn't make it through. I'm sure they're okay, but who do we have?" She stood by the newly made wall and taped it to see if it would budge. But to no avail did it move.

"And the only way out is to the end of the cave... unless you want to smash through, buuut, I'm more curious to know what's on the other side." Being in the cave reminded her of the first time they ended up in one. Except she was in a different group, and the creepy nobodies weren't at the end harassing her friends.

"Marcooo?"

Considering no one said 'Polo', Ace assumed it was quiet and empty on the other end. But she decided to wait for everyone to gather themselves before she hurried forward. Time was of the essence, but everyone's health and safety was important too.
"I can't help it. You almost scared me to death." He smiled a little and looked up as she walked over. Vincent felt the dark aura before he saw it. When he leaned over to see the source, he shuddered. "He does not look happy." He couldn't help but scoot backwards as Webster came towards them. There was a strong hatred and frustration surrounding him that could kill on its own.

Vincent looked to Webster's missing eye. "No wonder he's angry... He has one eye and is confused. This is a first, even for him. We can always assume that his power comes from there. Or he's just getting worn out by the work."

Vincent started to stand slowly as Kiara spoke. "You're pushing your luck Kiara. How could it possibly be more risky than your death?" And then she told him. He paused, standing up straight. Vincent gave a serious look as she explained their chances. "You do realize the insanity in this right? It's too risky."

And yet, he felt that he wouldn't make a dent in the argument. With a sigh, Vincent shook his head. "Alright... Fine, but be careful." He looked at his gun before watching as Webster got closer. "We have one shot."He repeated, not believing he was actually going to go through with it.

Vincent looked down at Mary, limping a few feet away from her. "Sorry kid." He waited for his opportunity to strike.
Vincent noticed the look of shock on the girl's face and he chuckled. "Believe me, I'm just as shocked. But, Mary is just a regular kid." He then glanced over at Webster and shrugged. "I mean, the only way to do that would probably be getting killed...but that's risky." Noticing her look down at his leg, he rubbed the back of his head. "Ah, yeah. A minor repercussion, but I'm fine." With a small shrug he leaned more to his left.

When she offered to test out if her insane prediction was right, he started to protest. "I don't think that's- Kiara, wait-" But she was already off. He limped forward but deemed it useless to try and fight back. So, he did what he was told and sat back next to Mary.

She went full force towards Webster, making Vincent anticipate the outcome. "She's insane." He leaned forward where he sat and immediately winced when she was stabbed. She fell, and laid there for a more than a few seconds. "Ki-!" His call was interrupted by Webster's cackling. Vincent pulled out his gun, but stopped himself, not wanting to wake Mary up. He bit his words and sat back down, watching as he retrieved his sword.

'So, is this how it'll end? If so... I can't say I didn't live.'

The beginning of his farewells ceased when Webster stepped back and not much later on, Kiara was ripping the sword out of her chest. He released a heavy sigh he didn't know he was holding. "Thank goodness." He relaxed where he sat and watched them.

Occasionally, he would glance over at Mary to make sure she wasn't disturbed. Now another problem.

Sure they couldn't die...but how did they plan on getting rid of the Devil ?
