The farther he dived, the weirder it felt being so far away. The feeling went away as his wings spread. He could hear the beating of the wind against wings as Seishu came closer. But Enasi wasn't skilled enough to easily maneuver away from him. For a moment, nothing happened and the dream guardian continued flying and gliding through the air. He inhaled and exhaled gently, enjoying the flight. He realized how much he was missing as he flew through the air. It was such a fun thing to do! And it was rather easy.

I don't need his hel-

"!" The sudden brushes across his wings elicited a small sound of surprise. His flight staggered ever so slightly, but he continued. He glanced over his shoulder and flapped his wings with a lot of force, moving from under him. And yet, Seishu still managed to be above him. Suddenly, cool fingers touched his stomach and arms wrapped around him. A chill ran down his done and his wings bent ever so slightly. The color rose in his cheeks, but it was never seen, nor was his voice heard when he started to yell at Seishu.

Instead, his wings faded and he began falling. Enasi's body twisted so he could grab Seishu's hand, but he couldn't reach. Then, he realized what was happening. As he fell, everything began to fade. From color to sound. Everything became dark and silent.

He was alone again.

When the dream guardian stopped falling, there was no sound, in fact,
he woke up with a bit of surprise. Enasi let out a heavy sigh almost glad that he did wake, in fear of what Seishu planned on doing. "You... you jerk." He crossed his arms and looked around the room. He wondered how long he had been asleep, as he got up slowly.

"Doctor! Doctor! Seishu is awake! It's time isn't it?"

Crios looked up from the papers he was going through and watched as Rue beamed and jumped up and down. The little fairy was excited to know that Seishu would be getting cured. Crios nodded silently and stood. "Alright, now we must wait for Lord Enasi." The thought that one was awake but not the other made them fairly somber. To know their guardian was back in the darkness was saddening. Such a curse for the lovable guardian.

"I'm going to go check on Seishu and make sure he isn't too bad. You check on Enasi. I'm sure he wouldn't mind being awoken from such a curse." With that, Crios walked off.

Rue nodded quickly and took off at breakneck speeds to see his guardian. And he nearly tackled him in the process. Instead, Rue managed to slow down enough to fall into a hug. "Wonderful! You're awake! Crios wanted me to check on you. Are you okay? Do you need to get some more energy? There's lots of it you know!" Enasi laughed softly and hugged Rue.

"Thank you, but I'm fine. Come on, let's go to Crios. We'll tell him I'm fine." He followed Rue as he flew in the lead.
I say wait for Leila-Four. We are ahead as FoxFox said, so we can just wait a bit. Annnd we need the mushroom to be pushed.
Annd if this was an order of rotation, she would technically be next. Since you were last before Fox, then myself. (Then Four, then you again)
BUT!
I mean, that's just my opinion.
*Is still interested*
*Wonders if I can use the same character*
FoxFox said 8. Leila, if one plus one is a yellow humming bird, what is 5 + 5? What's the square root of a celery whale?

This question is a perfect description about how I feel in math. And I also love this question.
With a sigh, he focuses on steadying the rhythm of his wings. Not too fast, and not too slow. Just enough to keep him on steady. The male noticed movement in his peripheral vision and looked down to see Seishu flying leisurely under him. He paid no mind, until the wind picked up. Out of instinct, his wings lifted when he covering his face. His wings caught the wind, pulling him back as well. He panicked a little until he managed to steady himself again. Suddenly, he felt his hands being held and he looked up at Seishu.

“Don't flap, just let the gust take you for a while. Keep your legs strait and whatever you do don't fight."

Enasi nodded and did what he was told. His wings stopped and he stayed at a glide. His legs straightened and he relaxed. "Don't fight it." Enasi whispered to himself as he relaxed. The male felt like a baby bird awkwardly learning to fly. He never thought to do something he had always seen the birds do in his realm, and the human realm. Enasi frowned a little to himself. Even as a dream guardian, he seemed to lack the creativity one wound assume he should have. It made him question himself, but he shook the doubt off and focused on the skies. Seishu said something else, reminding him it was safe and he wouldn't get hurt. For some reason, it then donned on him that it was fairly embarrassing that Seishu was coaxing him on like a child. It wasn't mocking, but Enasi was a guardian! Shouldn't he have been capable of doing these things himself?

The thought of being so dependent on Seishu made him pull his hands away quickly. At first it was one, and then it was the other. 'Seishu is babying me... This is ridiculous, and embarrassing. I should be able to do this myself. He has probably wondered why I don't do a lot of things... The thought reminded him of when Seishu made it a plan to make him growl or purr. And it reminded Enasi but to bring it up because it seemed like an odd thing to do. 'He probably thinks I'm a clueless guardian. He already thinks I'm a prude... He then stopped flying, folding his wings. "Why do I care?" He whispered to himself, and began to dive down, leaving Seishu.

Enasi sighed and waited a few moments as he picked up speed before spreading his wings and gliding again, now lower than Seishu. Being in the dream probably was the reason he wasn't so frustrated about his created problems, but it didn't stop his confusion. Enasi knew he wasn't going to be able to fly away from Seishu, so he settled with just quietly flying and trying to stop being so worrisome all the time.

The vines were proving to be quite bothersome to deal with. She noticed Leila pulling off the crazy stunt and laughed. She wondered how she managed such a tactic but left it alone when she heard Inadi.

“I figured you'd want this back. It doesn't go well with the medieval armor you have on, but I'm not much of a fashion guy so I don't think it matters.”

Ace caught her hat in her left hand and shook it off.  Placing it on her head, she playfully stuck her tongue out at him. "It doesn't have to match. It's a valued possession. And thanks!" The redhead stayed by his side for a bit longer in order to slice up some more vines in their way. It was all a waste of energy to her, and the redundancy was getting less than amusing. Not the fact that they were getting attacked, but the fact that they were doing nothing but slicing vines is what made this less amusing.
"We are getting no where with this! And why won't this plant just burn?" She said to no one in particular as she cut through vines, vines, and more vines.

“Ace, go and get Leila off the ground and keep that thing away from her for a few minutes if you can. I gotta go and get Harper so we can all focus and get that damn thing into the pond soon.”

Ace perked up with a grin. "Aye, aye!" She responded and gave a salute. "Off to help the quiet girly, off to hold the mushroom off her~." She said in a sing song voice as she hurried to Leila's aid.

"Don't worry, I've got her!"

She almost forgot that messenger was with them. Zephy grabbed Leila and put her in a safer spot. "Thanks! Now to keep the mushroom away from her." Zephy told them before that she wasn't going to be able to help too much, so the job of protecter was still needed. "Don't worry Leila, just rest up! I'll make sure you're safe!" And she did as she promised, to the best of her abilities at least. She stood in front of Leila's path, burning down all the vines that dared to come toward them.

Then, she paused. Her name was called, and there was a moment of opportunity to listen. "Burn it down? Hehe, I am fully capable of doing that!" Before she ran off to burn everything made of plant matter, she looked back at Leila. "Don't worry, just call if you need help!" With that, she went to help Harper. She looked down at her amulet, noticing it was down to a third of what was inside. She expected it to be much less than that... It didn't matter then because Harper needed her help. And she was bound to over use it anyway.  This time, instead of swinging her sword around, she held it over each vine, and waited just as the mushroom staggered back from the male's blow, Ace pressed the sword against the mushroom's back, effectively creating a fire, and cutting off its arm all at once. Thankfully, Harper said it before she had stopped fighting. By then, Ace was forced to stop. All of her pryo attacks caused her amulet to go to dangerously low levels. When Harper was caught, instead of her flames, Ace stepped on the vine and used the heel of her shoe to rip it. "Plants are still plants. Easy to rip."

She put the hilt of her sword up as the flame disappeared and was rendered defensive. The vines were frantically attacking, and there was no way she could dodge them all. One caught her by her legs and she tripped, falling on her butt, until it lifted her and tossed her off like a rag doll. She laid on the ground for a moment, regaining her composure. Experience or not, being hit or bruised still hurt and being tossed on solid ground definitely knocked the wind out of her. It was a smack to reality and it made her remember she wasn't invincible.
That warm glow once again covered him and he looked down to see himself fully healed. Even his dead leg was back in the proper condition. "Thanks." Was Vincent's response, much different than Kiara's retorts. He was used to it though, and found them kind of amusing at times. But Sandal merely shrugged it off saying it was owed.

"Consider your mission accomplished you two. You can go on with your lives or ride on to seek more adventure. But know this, you have our blessings. Both mine and D's."

This was the best news he had heard in what seemed like forever. Their mission was complete. They no longer had to fight. They could finally relax. Vincent stretched his entire body and heaved a sigh. "Wonder-?" He looked over at Kiara in confusion as she stopped Sandal from doing his routinely disappearing tricks. What more could the girl want?

Of course, the meaning behind Sandal's inside joke. He chuckled lightly when she pouted like a kid. Vincent slowly sat up and looked up at Sandal. "What does that mean anyway?" The answer wasn't whet he was expecting. Even Vincent had a surprised look planted on his face. "Really?" The grin on his face answered that question. "Whoa. We've met-... wow." They had met Death, the Big Guy's son, and the devil...personally. "We should have an immortality card or something." He chuckled again and only shook his head when Mary accused them of being dumb again.

"Hey, give us credit. We at least beat Webster." The two weren't going to be able to sit on the ground all night. Sure, it was a pretty night, but the ground would get uncomfortable soon. He lifted himself up, happy that he could use both legs. Vincent put his hand out to his partner and looked around. "Well... there's no one around to know about our legacy. Unless someone is hiding out... But," He ran fingers through his hair and looked at Kiara. For some reason, he wasn't quite sure what to say.

Thanks for the help? Good job not dying? He was at a loss for words.

Mary watched the two travelers curiously and then giggled. "So? Are you two going to keep traveling together or are you going to just go your separate ways? That's not a very interesting end to a story." The comment made Vincent blink and then continue what he was saying. "Um," It wasn't often he stammered and stumbled for words. "I'm sure the next town isn't any where near 'exciting' as this, so... that's where I planned to head."
This made me think of the RP.
I laughed for a few minutes.

Ace frowned when Inadi was grabbed. "Hey, put him down!" The mushroom changed its course and attacked the poor kid with glasses. It was bad enough he had electrocuted, now he was being attacked. She did not approve, not one bit. Harper decided to step forward next, and managed to cut his leg off. It worked... but not for long. The leg regenerated and Harper was flung to the other side. She looked back, making sure he was still moving before she took the chance to fight again.

No matter where they would cut, the area would be replaced with new plant matter. Electrocuting it might work, but it also reminded her of a conversation she had one upon a time ago. Ace had forgotten with whom she spoke with, but that didn't matter at the moment.

"I don't care what you say! There is no way to beat him- even if he wasn't a superhero!"
"Here's a little life lesson for you: If you think it's impossible to kill, try cutting out its heart or cutting off its head."

Grant it, that was just a conversation about superheroes and their weaknesses... but it could probably apply to the situation now. She didn't notice the vine that wrapped around her ankle until it was too late. "My hat!" Ace was lifted upside down and her hat fell to the floor. The mushroom didn't look very happy as it held her up. Instead of attacking, she just let her amulet refill... and she braced for impact when she was tossed off to the side. Unfortunately, her fall wasn't eased when she was thrown and her bracing for impact caused a new sprained wrist. ".. Ow." At least it wasn't her sword fighting hand... But it still may have caused a problem. Oh well.

Ace sat up, looking around for her possession. Unfortunately, with the mass of vines sprouting from everywhere, it was hooked on to one of them. "Of course..." Now, Ace was focusing on a completely different goal rather than getting it into the water. She stood, grabbing her sword with both hands. "Bad idea, bad idea." She sucked in a breath and let go of the sword, keeping it in her right hand. So maybe it hurt a little more than she thought... Quite possible that it was more than sprained. But! Ace wasn't going to let that mushroom keep her hat! With one hand she was going to fight. Another thing she refused was to sit back and watch as the other three fought. That wasn't going to happen either. The last thing Ace wanted to be was a burden to the others, "And it's just a little sprain." She mumbled and watched as her sword lit aflame once more.

Vines lashed out, and she made it a sport to cut them down. "One... Two!...Three! Four! Fi-" Ace was knocked down by the fifth one. One vine away from getting her hat. "Hey, Leila. Do you think you can shoot that thing in its eye... or at least in those glowy things that look like eyes. If it works, me and Harper can pushing it into the water so Inadi can shock it. And if all else fails, we can try to cut its head off or something." While, the other three thought that over, Ace maneuvered through lashing vines in order to get her hat.
