In the distance the Gillian spotted an arrancar fighting two shinigami, and losing badly. Eslsewhere was woman with tremendous spiritual pressure, rushing over to the fight.
On its other side a garganta had opened up. Judging by it's size and style it was created by one or more adjuchas, but out came another arrancar. This one was not in any weakened state however.
Following basic instincts the Gillian marched in a straight line away from the new arrival.

All non-standard hollow (Menos and arrancar) are large compounds of souls. Just a big pile of devoured souls.
Gillian are like a mindless swarm of hollow stuck together, when they become large enough a single hollow will take over and devour all the others, becoming Adjuchas.
