Hearing the wail of a soul wounded so deeply. To him this was akin to discovering a new element, reaching new heights, becoming of a deeper understanding.
The human mind was a complex puzzle and martin just found the last twisted little piece.
Martin's mind went in overdrive, working to comprehend impossible calculations derived from scarring emotions.
Frantically rewriting every thought in every mind connected. To a point where he forgot to keep his blood puppet under control and it collapsed into catatonic state.
He forgot his guidance to Rhyss, this may or may not have been the cause of the illusory wings, he noted in his calculations.
For a second he forgot everything... then it returned. All of it. A faint psionic glamer of laughter, heard in the back of one's mind was shared by hundreds.

Short Bio/Personality: The eponymous character. His first name is never given, and cannot be revealed as per "the wizard."[5] He is a cliché ninja, with the exception that he is a practicing medical doctor as well. He has amazing speed (fast enough to dodge bullets) and agility, plus superhuman strength (the latter of which is attributed to the fact that as a proficient doctor and ninja, he has supreme understanding and control of his own anatomy). He studied under the clone of Benjamin Franklin in medical school, and his medical expertise ranges from general medicine to podiatry and dentistry. In fact, he has a degree in virtually every field except agricultural science thanks to a cloning experiment during his college days with the help of his professor, Ben Franklin II. He is usually seen wearing slacks, a button-down shirt and tie, a lab coat, a ninja mask, and a stethoscope around his neck. He is 35 years old.
While a skilled superhero, Dr. McNinja has several personality quirks. He desperately wants to be Batman and has obsessively studied his movies, comics and TV shows to that effect (despite this, his personality is rather more similar to Spider-Man in terms of lighthearted banter), even telling others he trained with Batman (which is patently false, even in the McNinja universe) and owning a pair of Batman pajamas. It is later shown that his parents introduced him to Batman as a child in order to foster enthusiasm for his training, which subsequently led to the doctor's attachment to vigilantism and perception of distinct good and evil sides, unlike most ninja. He is also highly sensitive to criticism by his parents, who are disappointed that their ninja son is also a doctor. The fact that he is both a doctor and a ninja has also caused several problems for him, chiefly due to his twin obligations to heal and to kill. He also has an intense hatred for pteranodons, having encountered members of the species on an isolated Pacific island, and in an alternate future ruled by dinosaurs from space.
Though Dr. McNinja's full face is never seen, he has blue eyes and auburn eyebrows – probably stemming from some combination of his Irish and Jewish ancestry, as his father Dan is of Irish descent and his mother Mitzi is a Jewish "convert" to the McNinja clan.

After hours it had become clear to Fesh that he hadn't been following fireflies but will-o-whisps.
They had been sending him in circles for hours. When he begged them to tell them where the village was all they had for him was "Close"

Fesh wondered trough the woods, in the distance he thought he caught the scent of something cooking. Finally something!
Hesitantly and silently he entered the town. Cautious.

Ujauja squinted many eyes at the figure heading for him. It's reiatsu screamed captain shinigami or more, but it wasn't the white jacket he'd thought he'd seen.
It spoke confidently, and it was clear why. In this fight he'd be holding back. The thought of this infuriated Ujauja, he wanted to kill and eat this man.

Two other heads chowed down and the 3 started to fight over the thing. They pulled with strong, aggressive tugs on the chain.

I was referring to the Bitey series. But that doesn't have a village in it.
So that would be what the frrest is like outside of the village. And this would be what the village is like.
