Hale tried to picture a row of cannons strapped to a rhino.

He laughed.
"Actually... I might steal that idea if you don't mind. My buddy's a game designer, I'll convince him to make that into a 3rd person sandbox rampage game..."
He was interrupted in his train of thought by Charles stepping forward.
"Hmmm?... Oh wait, you must be Charles right?"
"You had information on SOLDIER's tactics for sale? We spoke on the phone, I'm Hale."
Hale stuck out his hand at Charles.

Misha stood petrified, staring into the glowing eyes of the creature that stood before him.
He recognized the monster from the horror stories his grandmother liked to tell. A wraith, a creature beyond death, from the domains of the Torturer of souls.
"The god of death..." He muttered. "And fear... Appreciates good cooking?"
Misha's face showed a mix of fear and confusion.

Seeing the altar free and an others coming up behind him Misha decided this was the moment.
He took a deep breath and clenched his fist around the goat's leash.
Solemnly he stepped forward, he took the satchel from the goats back and put it down beside the altar.
From it he pulled a long knife, he put it in front of him on the altar.
He placed the goat on the altar and looked up at the sky.

"To all the divines!" Misha said in a booming voice. "I bring you a sacrifice of future! This goat has served me well for some time and would for years, it is my future milk and cheese that I give up, as well as companionship. It is a timeless clasic! I present to you: A goat!"
With a wide gesture Misha grabbed took the knife from it's hilt, it glimmered in the light of the fire.
"But there's a twist." His eyes glimmered like the knife in his hands as he slid it along the creature's throat.
"I shall also give you a presentation of skill." The razor sharp knife flashed as it slid across the carcass. Quickly skinning it.
"It will not be raw meat that I shall give you.." With expert eyes the prize bits of meat where cut out and placed upon the altar before him.
"But a meal that would befit a god." From the satchel Misha procured some spices and marinated the press meat.
With a grand gesture he placed the meat on a grill he put over the sacrificial pyre. The fire flared up as he blew into them.
Silently he stood as he watched the meat slowly cook, sometimes flipping it over.
He was awaiting an awnser, trying to hide his nervousness.

Yup, everyone is accepted. The only rule is that it can't be too similar to an already existing god.

/fun that you're intrested. I Think that threat was also mine. It didn'y get off ground because I suddenly had shortage of time I think.

Hale nodded at Alice coming in. When she expressed her fear for their kind dying hopelessly in battle, and Magnus doing not much to reassure her, he started thinking.
"Can we get a weapon that'll protect large groups of vampires at once?" Hale thought aloud. "Maybe sabotage the opponents anti vamper equipment somehow."
Suddenly it hit him. He jumped up and looked excitedly at Magnus and Alice. "What if the opponent is expecting werewolves instead?"
He grinned as he was met with stares and silence.
"We'll put of large speakers around the woods, and we'll have them play recordings of me howling. It'll sound like they are being attacked by a massive pack of wolves rather than vampires. They'll bring silver bullets rather than stakes."
And if I get Alice to play the sounds, she can't be part of the melee and won't get hurt.

As for your domain Vortex. Here's a weird suggestion: Maybe it's freedom.
Indulgence and gluttony are supported by the complete freedom to do whatever you want.
Escape from responsibility seems like a strong theme in your god.

"My story begins right now" Misha had shouted as he went off to the pyre.
Lyah wasn't surprised to see him run off, he always tended to be a little single minded.
She walked around the festival grounds and looked at the gifts others had chosen.
When Misha got to the ritual place he halted, he saw others where using it.
Maybe it was politeness, maybe he wanted the place all for himself. He decided to wait it out.

Hale shrugged his shoulders as he stared at the mess Magnus had made of the guy for a second.
"I chose this place because it's convenient." He calmly walked over to a punching bag hanging from the ceiling.
"Because sometimes," He punched the bag and a satisfying cloud of dust came off it. "video games just aren't enough," another punch that snapped the stitching of the bag.
"to vent my aggression" and with that he sent the bag flying. It snapped of it's chain and nearly hit one of the vampires dragging the bleeding guy away.

Hale took a deep breath. "... It's hard to get used to the dungeon life. I keep expecting a bunch of sword waving hero lunatics to barge in here."
Hale paused and sought eye contact with Magnus. "I've got the feeling you've got some scheme you're working on. I hear there's a whole bunch of your old friends that are going to show up soon. What's the surprise?"
