Wat'd I miss?

excellent question
Bouwe sat in his chair with another glass of wine. Victory was sweet, but this was just the beginning.
Now to save the world and set things right.
He took the brand new samsung from his nightstand, opened his contact list and picked the first one.
A name he'd been waiting to call for a while.
The phone rang once... twice... "Hello?" he heard a womans voice say.
"Hello again, Angela. Remember me? It's Bouwe, we did an interview about modern vampire life last year. I have something else for you, do you still live near Kilo Point?"
Ok to avoid confusion, this is a redo of another RP by the same name and maker (me).
Because there is a large number of new players the old one got confusing and I'm making this one Invite only to keep things organised.
We'll use the same opening post.
Come one and all.
We'll tell a tale like the mythos of old.
Step in the shoes of the old gods like Thor, Dionysus and Anubis.

Create a world of myth and magic, then create heroes to overcome the impossible challenges set by the gods.

It is the year 0. There is a small town at the shores of the sea, it's inhabitants call it Travels End. After many generations of nomadic tradition they settle down to farm and fish. The future holds many things in store for them: jealous rival cities, vicious sea monsters, festivities and tragedies. But most importantly: Religion.
These people are about to discover their gods. Will these divine beings use their might to help the town grow into a bustling trade city? Or will they torment the humans for their own amusement? Perhaps both.

In this game you'll make 1 god, up to 3 heroes (of other gods) and any number of commoners.

God characters are bound by no rules other than the rule of cool. You choose no powers or skills, you can do whatever seems fitting.
Gods appear as they will and can bend the rules of reality to their whims.
You'll choose a domain like fire, death, war or weather. (anything that follows "The god(dess) of" and isn't too similar to an already present god.

Heroes are mortal champions with superhuman powers. Often they are the bastard children of gods, sometimes they are given their powers by a god as a reward.
These characters might fight monsters, save a town from rampaging bandits, or maybe rage against the gods.
Examples are Hercules, Skjöldr, (first king of Denmark), Moses, etc.

Commoners are just that, normal humans, they have no powers you and I can't have. If you choose not to give them a name they are public domain and any player may control them. You can write a character sheet, but depending on how relevant this person might be it's not mandatory.

there was silence in the halls of the citadel, the woman was even silent, the ghouls looked at the man that just refused the offer of their god, and the dark figure looked at Misha in silence, then finally he spoke "if thats the case" the wraiths, banshees and ghouls started to fill the room, "then..." he drew his hand back "Suffer!"the dark figure threw his hand at Misha and he was filled with nothing but his greatest fear, "a curse i put on you mortal, for to turn down the offer i gave, as punishment, your greatest fear will come and when it does, you...will...BURN!!"Misha was sent through a great deal of pain and misery, the God that has punished him knows no mercy. The figure looked at the mortal woman "Send her into the pit" he turned to Misha "Let him watch at the horrors that wait him in death"

Misha awaited the god to say something. The silence in the citadel was annoying him, he was about to speak up when the god spoke again.
The threatening words uttered by the god of fear resounded hollow in Misha's perspective. Somehow it was almost amusing.
When the god prophesied his greatest fear to be brought to reality Misha's smile disappeared. To his shock he couldn't think of anything.
There was nothing he could imagine the god of fear would conjure that would seem threatening at all.
This was very strange indeed. At first he'd thought the courage he'd found was his own, but that was impossible in light of what he'd just seen. So maybe the god of fear would have taken his fears of him? No.. that made no sense. His confused thoughts made him forget about the quick surge of pain that had run through him.
He snapped out of his thoughts when he realized he'd been watching the somewhat dull dismemberment of the woman that had been dragged past him before.
The contorted look on her face spoke of an agony Misha couldn't even imagine, luckily he didn't care much for it. He looked up to see the divine power that had been cursing him a while ago had left. This could be a great moment to escape. But how...
...
Suddenly two dots connected in Misha's head. If the lord of nightmares hadn't blessed him, perhaps there had been another god looking down upon him.
Surely that god could get him out! But wait, why didn't this god speak to him? Or stand for him against the darkness? "This must be some god of trickery." Misha mumbled to himself. If so then this was a test. A test to see if he could escape from the underworld.

Misha glanced idly to his left, there was a group of undead monsters between him and the gateway to the human word that it's owner had left behind.
To his right he glanced over the altar the god had stood before. Perhaps he should bring something with him?

"Yes, we'd hate for your.... to get hurt." Alice mumbled more to herself than anything.

Aaand.. I'm back. I just read the whole text. Some really good stuff in there.

Going to think up a post that makes sense chronologically with all this then.

Is that a furry Kyrogue?
Hale raised an eyebrow at Magnus taking off like that and walked over to Charles.
He grins.
"You have quite the knack for drama my friend, that amuses me, but more of that later. Right now we trade: you share with us your info on SOLDIER and their current plans, and you get your suitcase with untraceable bearer bonds with 20G's and walk out with it today.
OR!"
Hale pointed at a cabinet on the wall that held blood packs and a few expensive whisky's.
"We could discuss further employment arrangements. You'll find that we offer a lot of interesting features, like family protection for instance."
The empty office building Bouwe was squatting in was cold and dark.
But it did have the best view of the city. And it was free.

The TV sheds a pale blue light on the glass vials, scales and burners.
Next to it, stand two wineglasses filled with a red liquid.
Bouwe glances over at is from across the room. A chill runs down his spine.
He turns his attention back to the TV.

"Scientist are calling it a collective nightmare event. More on this at 9. Now to sports, Jerry?"
The woman smiles her perfectly manufactured smile and the camera pans over to a guy in a football jersy and a frown.
"Well Marta I have bad news Martha. Due to recent events the police will only refer to as vampire problems the 2014 hockey season has been officially cancelled. The management of the Kilo Point Raccons could not be reached for commentary."

With a sigh Bouwe turned off the television. No point in delaying it. It's done.
He got up and walked over to the two wine glasses. A heavy feeling sank in his gut.
Ceremoniously he took the left glass and put it to his lips. He tasted a sour but sweet and full taste, the alcoholic aftertaste shook hims a little, as did the memories from a long, long time ago. He smiled. The he took up the other glass. It was bitter, the taste of iron was nauseating. There was no sweetness, no spark, no rush that took you over the highest mountain and made you feel whole again. Bouwe wiped the blood of his grin and laughed.

"It worked!"

He downed the wine with tears in his eyes.
