"That comes later." Bouwe bounced off to the table and stated to collect some things.
"The core problem in understanding the vampire curse is in it's most favored traits: The gift of immortality.
Because of the undead nature of the afflicted vampire he doesn't die. It denies its body from the ground and steps out of the cycle of life and death.
This phases it's existence in and out of reality. It shouldn't exist. This is purely theoretically and symbolically. A metaphor. But the theory derived from this is that you can realign the mind of the patient with the world and wash him in innocence.."
Bouwe paused to catch a breath.
"The place is why I'm in Kilo Point. A decade ago there was a battle here between humans and vampires. That clash makes this the ideal place for a ritual dedicated to the struggle between life and death. Then there's the elements. The subject needs to be bathed in the 4 elements, each sanctified in a way that holds meaning to the subject, These are personal. In my case I used the note from this bronze whistle for air. Grave dust from another story I'd rather not get into for earth, holy water and the light of the dawning sun for water and fire."
Bouwe stood upright before the window gesturing pouring a bucket over his head.
"And then wash it all of in willingly donated blood... stands for forgiveness."
Bouwe dropped the imaginary bucket.
"I've been piecing this all together for years. And if all this doesn't convince you... I think I might be drunk."
Bouwe looked at the empty wine glass.

akje this happened before Tavon met Lyah. I told so in the OOC.

Oh sorry, I only skimmed the OOC since there was a lot of it. Is it a big deal or can we just mash shit together? more people = more involved in the story.
So I found this.
Not sure what to make of it but i'd thought i'd share it.
Both are valid options. If you want to play a veteran and have discussed your past with the god OOC that's fine.
But the story will revolve around the new champions so make that your focus.

As for the history lesson: I guess i'll draw a red line so we all have something to work with. But still have space to leave thing shrouded in mystery.
The gods are born the moment their domain becomes relevant to the human world. The god of fire emerges when the first human bashes rocks together and witnesses a spark. The gods of civilization and order come to be when the first families and tribes form a communion. etc.
The gods is either created by discovery or to aid it.
However all the gods are aware of this, and have vague memories of what happened before them. As all were present at the worlds creation a long time before.

The gods are all powerful and can do anything befitting the story. Their domains are more guidelines in style than limitations. The goddess of healing and forgiveness could raise an army of ghouls or use lightning to shoot down innocent people. She wouldn't, and the god of death and unpleasantness would probably me more experienced at it. But she can!
The gods only limits are the other gods and things made by gods to oppose gods.
Music

Lyah stood petrified at all the information rushing at her.
As all the pieces came together and were confirmed with the words "I apparently have a daughter."
She opened her mouth to say something but was interrupted by a rough gush of wind that passed around her.
Something raced past her ear that made a singe pure high tone. Like a bell.
A spinning gale surrounded the group of people and the disguised deity.
"Hold on!" Misha yelled over the winds as he grabbed Lyah and Tarvin.
In the spinning and swirling winds whistling tones could be heard.
To the ears of mortals this sounded like aggressively melodic music.

To ears of the keeper of the eternal gardens could make out words.
"It is an honor to meet you keeper. I am a servant of will and I humbly require your guidance. You see I am to bring a message to the village and in extend to the gods.
It is a surprise you see. And as exited as I am to know a thing the gods do not, albeit briefly. I would like speak it."

The torrent of winds sped up, kicking up dust and leaves high into the air.

"But I need a vessel that speaks their mortal tongue. And the vessel must be willing. That is my one chain. I wish to possess the entertainer. I request of you this wish in the name of Mawhiti."
shoved User out of the scene. if he comes back he was paid and escorted out. if he doesn't come back hale had charles shot like a dog i guess.
The door swung open Angela almost fell over inside. But Bouwe stood in front of her and caught her by the arm.
He swiftly placed it on his throat. The stood in silence with her hand wrapped around his neck.
She could feel his rapid heartbeat and warm skin. His heart pumped hot blood trough his veins.
His eyes were a dull gray but there was a spark that hadn't been there before. Or perhaps it had a long time ago.
"I have so much to show you."
Hale was distracted from his talk to Charles.
"Fine, know what? This conversation is over, execute protocol C30 BOB." Hale shoved off Charles and turned his attention to the two oldbloods.
"Executing protocol C30." BOB's electronic voice glamored trough the halls. A line of red lights lit up on the floor, trailing of into a hallway. "Charles. Please follow the red line."

Hale walked a large circle around the two slowly and calculating, he sternly and quickly gestured to the guards to get the fuck out. Then he picked up Alice and placing her in his room. He leaned against the door.
The guards didn't have to get hurt for this so he sent them out. Alice wasn't allowed to so got the armored door with guard dog.
Wait. If Tavon is Lyah's father in this campaign. And Berdagon implied this all happened before...
That moment you realize Lily from the other campaign is Lyah's mother in this one.

"Hah, we'll see about that." Misha grinned.
Lyah had accepted the letter with grace and silence. She walked off with the paper close to her chest.
"I have something special planned for the gods tonight. How about you?"

Lyah sat down in the grass and looked up at the fireworks in the sky. She wondered how they got the sparks to take such complex shapes in the air.
Magic perhaps? It was nice to take her mind of her mother for a second. She hesitated as she held the sealed letter in her hands. Her fingers trembled.
She was curious, yet, afraid. Afraid she was getting worked up over nothing.
Carefully she released the seal from the paper.

If it is allowed I would like to make the god of Chaos and Destruction, if that is alright with you.

Both chaos and destruction are fairly well represented already. If you have something that doesn't feel too similar to an already existing god. I made a list in my first IC post.

Also, this is an invitation only campaign. I don't recognize the handle LokiLeo789.
I am kenrick. Do I know you and have I invited you?
