Scribbleface got up and walked over to the broken heap of golem.
He clapped, stopped to pick up a glowing chunk of golem and put in his pocket for later, then clapped some more.
He looked up at James standing there with his massive hammer.
"That was awesome, cool hammer douche!"
Aaaand, it's dead.
Your golem didn't last very long haha
Scribbleface watched the show from his comfortable position on the tree trunk.
He pointed at James while looking back at Bibble.
"He must be an incredible douche then?"
Can you describe the golem more?
How impressive is it?
I played with me noting the tree but not yet the golem. Because it's further away right?
Scribbleface looked up, hearing the comment he turned to Bibble.
He walked over, completely unfazed by the tree landing between them.
With an agile small jump he got on the tree and stood before Bibble, looking down slightly.
He squatted and leaned forward a little so their eyes were at the same level, keeping balanced with one arm hanging on a branch that stood up vertically.
After a second or two of grimm eye contact he opened his wide mouth, revealing long rows of small teeth.
"I have to ask. What is a 'douche'?"
"Baby Panda huh? I think there's pandas near the caves outside doom villages."
Scribbleface pointed at a few spots on one of the maps displaying doom village.
"If they don't have it here I'll go there next I guess." He mumbled, turning his attention back to the merchants.
"As for payment, I have no Idea what currency is used here, but if it's gold coins: I don't have any of those."
He rummaged in his backpack.
"I do however have these commodities for trading."
He presented a flute, some fireworks, an engraved horse hoof, various brightly colored frogs, a few vials with a milky fluid and a walking stick.
"These are all blue fireworks, except for this one, I don't know what it does. The hoof protect the wearer against horses, uhm.. the frogs are poisonous or hallucinogenic, I have notes on how to tell them apart. I also sell their sweat directly if you like," He explained his wares as serious as he could.
Condolences, and welcome back.
Scribleface walked down the long road.
His feet were weary and he was tired from walking for days with a heavy backpack.
It was hot out and he could really use a drink.
Luckily, in the distance he saw a market stand standing out in the middle of nowhere.
Yet it had a crowd of customers around it.
Odd.

Scribbleface walked over and set his backpack down on the ground in front of him.
He waited a little while until he got the attention of one of the goats in the cart.
"Afternoon merchant. I'd like to trade with you. I need silly little trivial things... and something to drink."
He looked around at the crowd sheepishly until his eye caught something special.
"Hold on! Do you also have those fancy folded striped cloth skirts like that guy is wearing?"
He pointed at Scabby's kilt.
"Looks cool."
Luitenant Katzenjammer paced the SOLDIER headquarters in a fit of distress.
Not in years had the place been in such dispensary and disorder.
He was quite displeased.

Numerous reports of several incidents all over town had reached headquarters and they had gone in high alert.
Sadly, since Matt was out in the field, that meant utter pandemonium.
At least, by the Luitenant's standards.

A truck came driving into the grounds and the Luitenant hailed it down with the report in his hand.
With a forceful stride he got up to the back of the truck and opened it to address the troops inside.
He looked at Milo with a stern look on his face, one which commanded authority due to his unscrupulously groomed mustache.
"Sargeant, this is a report of sightings of groups of vampires."
He unfolded a map showing downtown Kilo Point. On it were symbols and arrows.
"There's been attacks here, here and here. We suspect a larger scale attack on the center of town here soon.
You are to clear the area and secure downtown. If there is indeed a larger offensive call in for reinforcement."

His eye caught the sniper rifle in Junko's arms and turned to Junko strict and swift.
"And you young lady go here and set up a sniper's nest in the church bell tower."
Bouwe traced the walls trying to find a lightswitch in the dark.
"I've almost forgotten how dark the nights can get without my bloodseeker eyes." His joke softly echoed trough the black abyss around them.
With the pale guiding light of a mobile phone he finally found a metal rack holding candles and he lit one.
The small speck of warm light pierced trough the darkness and lit up just enough to reveal the floor and a pillar with a stone water basin on it.
Just enough to guess why the roof was too far up too see, to guess why the place was so cold and why their voices echoed from afar.

They had snuck into the Kilo Point Parish's back entrance.
"Breaking and entering in the house of god. The one sin I didn't have on my vampire consciousness." Bouwe kept up the lighthearted banter, but in manner of speaking you could hear a slight trace shock and fear.
"At least we'll be somewhat safe here. Many of us- I mean, them. Many of them still respect religious buildings as an area of sanctuary for humans."
Bouwe lit a few other candles, then slipped some money into the donation box and walked over to the basin of holy water to draw a cross.
He sighed of relief when the water did nothing that water wouldn't normally do. Somewhere he still expected it to burn like acid.
He seemed remarkable calmer after this.
"So what's our plan?"
