I stop playing and look at the clock, people should be pouring in in a short while from now.
With the room done, sound check done, clothing done and nothing to do. I am so bored.
There must be something to do to pass the time as I wait.
The punch bowl draws my attention. I could... no, that would be cliché.
Then again... I could do something a lot more interesting.
Heravix is standing in the door opening, inspecting the decorations I assume.
"Mr. Gaul? I was just wondering if I-"I begin to speak but Heravix interrupts me "You want advice on magical potions right?"
"Uhm, well it doesn't have to be magical really. I want a truth serum."
"Thiopental is synthesized by the alkylation of ethylmalonic ester with 2-bromopentane in the presence of sodium ethoxide. The product ethyl-(1-methylbutyl)malonic ester undergoes heterocyclization with thiourea, using sodium ethoxide as a base." Heravix drones the answer as if prepared.
"Right.. of course. And the magical variant?" I propose carefully.
"Take a large copper pot of honey and bring it to a boiling point. It should turn syrup like, at that point you dip a bushel of thyme in the pot and stir clockwise for an hour. After that you leave it hanging submerged in the center of the pot for one night cycle until the honey is crystallized.
To finish you take a clear alcoholic drink and stir the honey crystal with the thyme in it."
"That.. sounds interesting, but I don't have the thyme nor the time for that. Got anything.. faster maybe?"
"Your last option also involves a crystal. Convince a witch to say the following words:

for those who want the truth revealed,

after which the memory ends,

will hear the truth from others mouth.

"I suggest we let the squishies stand here for a second, so they don't do anything..."

That's cool. Maybe it's like multiple universes or something. I personally still want to see what happens in this one. There's so many characters. I don't understand how people lose interest. I was also curious about the connection between Mag and Lambda. You guys should develop that.

Yes, this. plus I want to see what connection Jack has to everything.

He was dragged along weightlessly like a balloon as he napped.

Charlie stepped out of the train and scanned his surroundings, not far away are the remains of a ticket booth that had been blown to kingdom come. He grinned at the travelers everywhere and got up on a bench.

"We're back! Who missed us?"

Some people recognized him and started shouting. Panic quickly started to spread on the train station.
