He glanced over to Sam happily stirring a pot like it was going out of style. He hopped two barstools closer to Beatrice and Measha, putting him in the rare position of being at eye-level with someone. "So we can assume they are wizards themselves. Now why would wizards attack a wizards guild? Rivalry? Revenge? Extortion? Self-Defense?" Horace sat down, pondering aloud. "Let's assume it's neither of the first two since this is guild doesn't have a history long enough to make enemies. And they don't want anything from you, or this would be the moment to declare their demands. So self-defense?"
