What did he mean by how did she find out about his soul fire? In terms of it existing or that being his weakness? I'd assume it's the second option because his ribcage would not do much to conceal the fire inside now that his suit is gone.

The latter. :p
Well, should ask a mod to move this to 1x1 or spam?

Mwahahaha! You've activated my trap card! You do know that she shoots fire from her nose by accident when she sneezes, right? And would the sneezing interrupt the coughing? Can one sneeze and cough at the same time?

:P
No, just one or the other, but Niks didn't know that Evvie sneezes fire and as far as he knew, when someone's in a fit of sneezing and coughing, they generally tend to be to distracted to do anything but standing around or having a weak knee.

Besides, she'd still cough more and sometimes, her sneeze would be interrupted by her cough anyway. :P
Of course, when she started snorting fire, he'll stay away and try to pelt her with more symptoms, like fever or something.
It's great that Niks' miasma couldn't kill huh? Just make them really really sick and miserable that might feel a bit like dying. But won't die anyway.
Niks' opinion of Evvie's intelligence must've been really bad if he went so far of thinking that. :p

Oh yeah, about the soul fire, it's just a bit larger than your average heart.
Niks raised a no-longer-existent eyebrow to Evvie's barely heard question. What sort of question was that? How did she even lead into that assumption? Niks deemed it better not to answer such an idiotic question. It was probably for the better as his opponent stumbled several steps as she coughed, seemingly gotten herself unstable enough. Niks stepped forward to close the distance so that he could breathe Soul Rot directly at her, only to be surprised when she suddenly charged and jump kicked towards his torso. It was only because his ribcage was as strong as steel that the kick didn't force its way through his bone and stomped his soulfire. That could have been proven fatal, if the kick didn't do it, then a shard of broken bone might do some damage. Niks questioned if the girl found out about his soul fire. No, it was just a coincidence, how could someone who guessed what he was wrongly figured that out?

Still, the kick did cause him to become wary of going close to her. Better for him to keep his distance from her now that she was coughing her lungs out. Or he could take his chance and hit her with some more Miasma. It didn't seem like she has anything that could go through his ribcage without reaching around from below, but he would see that one coming. Yes, if she tried to move in, he would try to move away, but if she coughed her lungs out, then he would hit her with a sneezing miasma, that should distract her enough from even standing.

I'm curious though. Why doesn't Rilla just try again? I mean he does still roleplay.

This: "he's too lazy to try."

With a bit of help, I'm sure we could pull through and recreate the setting with its own fluff and a unique cast of characters.

Recreate the setting? You mean the Multiverse blender Rilla used?

I could edit it in with her saying it out loud. She's jumping kicking. I can edit to make that more clear as well.

Nah, this Niks would just roll his fireyes.
No need, I got that image and is just clarifying.

A true multiverse accounts for all possibilities. Everything possible can occur. I agree it seems to be a lack of focus.

Yeah, but for some of those possibilities to occur and let some worlds to travel to another, you would have to break it a bit first....Well, getting another world connected to a world and having the two of them interacting with each other is a possibility

So how can it be adjusted to encourage player focus? How to enable the players to work together to create a persistant multiverse?

'True' Multiverse is incredibly big though, and since we're doing this for the Arena, any attempts of banding all players into a single group is rather counterproductive. The best way I can think of is...well, a war between two worlds encompassing several area/worlds. The players would be mercenaries or something. Enough reason for the players to stick around in a general area, interact with each other and fight.
Maybe, but so far, I only saw that the major cause was GM going missing.
It's not because of the lack of 'true' multiverse, which was used even in Rilla's attempt. Because some worlds would lack the mean of travelling between and you'll need to think a bit harder for it.
I guess all it boils to is lack of overall focus.
