To be fair, gundamns are bipeds, not quadrupeds. Two-legged machines or creatures are usually taller than a four-legged creature of equal or greater weight. It wouldn't make much sense to make zoids fuck-all huge machines considering they don't really need those heights to begin with. I just favor zoids over gundams though. Two-legged walkers are normally heretical in my eyes. Two-legged walkers that try to mimic ancient samurai warriors even more so lol.

So, zoids is at least part-heretical?

No. If someone has ten turns of prep, and a character can still feasibly dodge or block... they dodge or block.If you and I were in a fight, for example... and you pulled back a bat to swing at me while standing around a corner... Say I couldn't see you, and I walked up and saw your shadow, but you heard my footsteps. You step out and swing it at me, but I knew you were there JUST before you attacked. Guess what... you could be standing there for an hour and it wouldn't matter. I would have just as much chance to dodge as you would to hit.Thus how logic works.

And that's how it work. If you block a prepped attack with unprepped defense, then some of the attack would go through. If you evade it then the prepped attack will miss and became wasted charge.
