Vignar gave Emily a nod when she shot a questioning glance at him. He didn't get the chance to tell her how long it might last as he heard chains rattling before they shot up from the sand. Vignar jumped back a bit late and a chain wrapped his leg, causing him to stumble on his jump and landed on his back. He sat up and tried to unbind the chain when he heard Emily's voice.
“Vignar, can you help out Diane?” she shouted. The request caused Vignar to turn his head towards Diane's direction and saw the woman was sinking into the sand while singing.
HAH, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR THEN?! GO SAVE YOUR MINSTREL COMPANION! his spirit shouted in mirth for some reason.
Deciding that her situation was worse than him, Vignar prepared to call another ally. His Shout reverberate beyond the world, calling upon the spirit of dead holder to come and assist. The only downside, he had no idea who would come, and unless he tried to summon several holders or stronger holders that died, the holders that listened to him were usually those of his equal and only passing through one at a time.
