It already was directed at Snoreghoul in my post before yours where you had Snoreghoul twirling and swatted Niks with a beam.
A Bard's Tale.

Oh, you're talking about the players instead of the chars.....
XCOM:EU.
Pft, high resistance to infection. The hex is ridiculous that it's magical enough to cause a golem to be sick. If it was blocked, it would be because of the scales, which is somewhere between a skin and clothes.

Fast healing does help suppress but won't make overcoming it any faster. So, minor effect is what I thought would happen.

That'd be fine if he moved once every so often, to a hidden location forcing people to travel to him. Not every post by the controller having him jump places.

oh what the hell, shelving Are to background character.

Obviously, that won't be the case here, but I would suggest you pick somewhere for him and had him mainly stay there, so that people can come and talk to him as they please, or as part of storyline profession.

What if he's a moving plotpoint? The one they characters have to chase around for an info or something.
Hmm, Snoreghoul ignoring the effect, well, that's what I figure would happen, the result would still be too weak to do anything.

The question was how, not why. I am making a Russian so there if there is a magic babel fish or magic autotranslate once you go through the nexuses, I need to know.

You don't have to get along with the 'translation package' if you wish, But I think the methods for these are either you have 'magical' translator device or just assume that Skall's Dreamer cast a Multiversal Translator spell that is applied to those passing the Nexus.

So how did we handwave that we all speak English/can understand each other?

Dreamer's Multiversal Translation Spell.
*handwave*

Eh, LeeRoy and Skall did that they're unable to understand each other until their translator kicked in.
