Pitover is ruled by councils and this continent has a majority of Angel citizens, their race and society is structured in three denominations that are not independant one of the other, and inside of each another three groups
First group, the race
-Angel: the species/race itself, encloses all the winged beings with humanoid appearance with the strength, regeneration and usually, but not necessarily, with high magical capabilities
-Archangel: angels above 500 years of age. Because of their knowledge and experience it is only expected that they have enhanced capabilities of younger angels and therefor they are immensely more powerful
-Principalities: denomination of angels with a nobility title. Used to be relevant in the past, but nowadays with the rise of the councils nobility has been reduced to a mere status and denomination
Second group: the government forces (include other races besides angels)
-Powers: angels who carry defense of Pitover. These include soldiers, police and the ones related to law duties.
-Virtues: members of the council of the people. Elected by the population to produce laws following the interpretations of the messages of the seraphs. Interestingly most of them are principalities who seek recovering some power the nobility has lost
-Dominations: Spiritual guides and pseudo religious leaders of the angels. Their labor is no mere preaching, as they serve as counselors, guides, and advisers of the populations. To be a domination one is absolutely required to be an arcangel and most of them are doctors, historians, teachers, psychologist and similar professions. They are the direct link of the the society with the cherubs and work on creating and maintaining the thrones
Third group: the controllers. Powerful beings. Still considered angels, but beyond them
-Thrones: artificial created beings product of a lorilal and an angel. They barely have free will and serve as absolute information controllers, recording everything that happens and observing every event to then report it to the cherubs and the virtues. Modern ones retain humanoid metallic form, but at first they looked like magical spheres enclosed in a mechanical eyed body and were fixed in static places like security cameras.
-Cherubs: empowered angels. Four winged beings who directly serve the seraph and carry their messages to the government forces. The selection of an angel to ascend to a cherub is directly selected by the seraphs and rarely the amount of cherubs have been away from forty at most.
-Seraphs: a trio of six winged beings whose power matches the one of a deity. None but cherubs are allowed to see them much less speak to them. They issue cryptic messages to the masses that must be followed like law. Since they do not interfere in mundane issues they allow the existence of a political council to take most decisions, such as taxing and common laws. Their interventions are scarce but absolute and unquestionable
