Being part of a pair is something not everyone gets to be part of. To have a bond, deeper then the very blood running through her veins suddenly vanish in thin air within a blink of an eye. To have one's world suddenly taken away without a sign or reason. To have one's other half suddenly be non-existent, like a false reality being shattered and the one once living in it thrown into a reality that wasn't the one they knew. This was what happened to one lonely snow angel.
Amaya Yashia was her name. She wasn't the type to really do much on her own without someone telling her what to do. This 'willow league' was something she was very nervous and scared of. She didn't know anyone, the one person she depended on wasn't there to reassure her that this was going to be awesome. No, she was here on a lonely dream to find that one person again.
Amaya opened her pastel baby blue eyes, returning back to this reality. She looked towards the little window in her cabin seeing the gorgeous bright blue sea and a shoreline that was getting closer and closer. She let out a gentle sigh while looking down at her hands, seeing a picture held between her two hands. She let out another sigh while placing the picture inside the light blue messenger blue strapped diagnolly across her left shoulder to her right hip.
She looked towards her cabin door, hearing the others moving to the main deck,excited about this new league. She gently stood up and also headed out to the main deck. She moved against a wall, letting the others move ahead of her, trying hard not to get swept away by the wave of eager trainers, collectors, and more that wanted first dibs on God knows what.
Once the wave died down she followed pulling up the rear, moving over those who fell victim to the stampede. Poor unfortunate souls huh? Amaya followed the crowd silently, mostly staying near the outside and towards the back, there was no need for her to push and shove to get the best view right?
She watched the nervous looking tour guide welcome them before she followed along with group. She adjusted her big light blue bow holding up her long flowing snow whit hair that was currently in a ponytail reaching to the back of her knees.
She observed the buildings in awe, loving the architecture of her surroundings as she also made mental notes of key points of interest, like where the shops were so when they were to get started on the journey, she wouldn't get lost, hopefully.
She stopped in a lab with the others to finally see the man that started this league. The one known as professor Willow. Well, the Pokemon Professor is more what he wants to be known. He seemed whether careful and excited. She just hoped that the Pokemon she was to receive would be an ice type..that was her secret want out of all this cause she comes from a frozen region of sinnoh, an ice type would be comforting and reminds her of her home she left behind to be here.

Personality: Amaya has many sides to her personality. At first glance, one would think she was very into her own type of fashion that didn't seem to make sense to anyone but would seem to know what her true style is and stay true to it. One would also see her being very quite and much like a wall flower, where she would whether blend into the background then been seen by millions. She often describe herself as a very clumsy girl for the fact that often she will trip over thin air itself for no reason.
When someone actually gets to know the true her, they will find a bright, kind girl that wants to make a name for herself but she doesn't have the outgoing confidence to do it on her own. Amaya in truth absolutely loves to learn new things about everything whether it is about Pokemon, Region, etc.
She does have a problem with low self-esteem and just overall doubting her own abilities as a trainer.
Backstory: Amaya's background isn't one that is all glamorous with tons of adventure and friends. Nope, she is a resident in the town her called home, Snowpoint City in the Sinnoh region. she is the youngest of 9 siblings. She grew up as a tag along for most all her siblings but one. She was the youngest but she also had a twin brother that she cared greatly for cause after all, he was her other half. They could never be seperated nor was one seen without the other.
Their family ran a small store for the various trainers that wanted to challenge the local gym leader that was a role model to amaya. It was the very gym leader and her ice type Pokemon that inspired Amaya to want to be a Pokemon trainer. She has researched and watched many battles but the type of Pokemon that called to her heart was the Ice type. Her twin liked the fire type so they were at odds of which type was better.
When Amaya turned 13, her birthday was a horrible one for the fact that her twin brother dissappeared in the night. All she could find was his long signature white scarf. Her family searched but their was no sign of him,no note, no tracks, no nothing. He was just gone.
Amaya tried getting over his disappearance but she knew that he ran away, wanting to journey, see the world and all it has to offer. She vowed on her 13th birthday, that when she was ready, she was going to travel to find him and bring him back to explain himself to the family.
While working at her family's store she heard rumors of a new league opening up. It took awhile but she obtained a flyer and after a long debate she decided it was now or never so she gathered her supplies. She said farewell to her family and friends before she headed out towards the willow league with a hope her brother would be there.

"He has to fight it himself for.to you his darkness is.like a disease yes? In truth, sadly some souls are meant to be in the dark to thrive in it. You and he may feel strong in the light but never will he be whole until he becomes one with his own self."she said rubbing her forehead "I lost all my light when I conceived you, which just made me feel as long as I was around you, my own darkness would be at bay..nope it just wanted to destroy you, a child of light, the new princess of heart...so I lost control many times and had to go away yuna and the others watched over you.many times as lucus went after me."said rose "it took me 4 Years to finally control my own darkness, to accept it." "but mother...Joshua became a heartless when he released his heart to feawaken me...somehow I was able to bring him back from the heartless form...then here recently, he had grown jealous and the dark snow of Narnia, fueled his darkness but he snapped when magurim bit my arm. I was afraid of losing him again when I saw that other form and felt the evil, the darkness radiating from him. Ascot and some of the others fought him on the outside as I fought a dark dragon on the inside...in truth, what little light of him saved me as I somehow allowed my own to help him push that thing back"she commented sitting elyse down.
"Did you noticed that the darkness couldn't truly touch your heart, to grow in you like many of us? Those of darkness are always drawn to the light, to try consuming the light of those who haven't fallen in its grip.."said rose "that is probably why there was that ambushed of those little heartless when you went missing, though I never seen them group that big around one person...I need to research that"said rose
"Any who, have faith in Joshua, he survived all this time and went against a lot of people's wishes to find you when many of us spent months even a few years hoping to find you again...many of us had given up and told him to but that stubborn boy kept insisting that something kept telling him to continue..and he was right "said rose "if you wish to compare you are his kairi like he is your sora, there is no one else that can fill a gap like you both...you isn't whole without the other..though it is more like riku and kairi instead of sora"she said looking towards the stairs "just have faith...riku is with him so to make sure Joshua doesn't lose"she added before amaya nodded
