Out of curiosity, how many players are you looking for, Panquake? I might be able to ask a couple of my friends if they'd be interested in playing.

Not meaning to rush anyone, but how go the sheets? I saw Mad Hatter has his started, and it looks awesome so far. More than willing to answer any questions , if anyone has any.

It's coming along. Should be finished sometime today.

But Washington and the Delaware.

Not really an example of a huge military offensive, though. Engagements during the Revolution were much smaller than those of contemporary wars and were dwarfed by offensives from the Napoleonic Wars and beyond. The Battle of Trenton involved a couple thousand soldiers whereas Civil Wars battles usually involved tens of thousands, for instance.

Kaiserthum Oesterreich
The Austrian Empire

The Austrian Empire is pleased to announce that it is now in a military alliance with its southern neighbors in the Ottoman Empire. After careful deliberation, we have determined that it is in the interest of both powers that we set aside our differences and work together toward a common goal of preserving peace on the continent. To the my people, I wish for you to understand that this is an opportunity for the Austrian Empire to further its interests abroad and ensure that the common interests of both Austria and Turkey are carried out. To the people of the Balkans, we would like you to know that you are not forgotten. We work tirelessly with our Ottoman partners to ensure that peace is maintained in the region and that you and your people see the same success and prosperity known to your brothers and sisters in the rest of Europe.

Without delay, the Treaty of Vienna of 1861:

“The Austrian Empire and the Ottoman Empire recognize a lengthy history of bloodshed and violence between our two states but come here today to put that behind us and solidify an alliance to ensure that there will be peace on the European continent. Under the sole provision of this declaration, the Austrian Empire and Ottoman Empire shall ally with one another, supporting one another in the event that either declares war on or is declared upon by another Great Power of Europe.”

Once more, we urge our fellow Europeans to exercise caution. May negotiations go well for all parties, and may we spare Europe from another senseless blood-letting.

But he's going to want to very much so. But if he does he releases a shitstorm of consequences.

George Washington did it. I'm sure Lincoln could get away with it too.

What even is the reason for the conflict in Europe?

I'm just trying not to get crushed by the train full of people who want my land. :(
Rising tensions is an understatement at this point.

Well, you did start this WiR right at the start of OTL Civil War...What are all the scenarios for a World in Revolution game?

The very first one is set in 1900 and can be found here. The same guy (the creator of the system) did a 1920 one as well, here. Most recently, he did a 1778 one, here. IIRC, there's a Cold War one around here somewhere as well, but I don't think I'd trust that game since we apparently can't go one turn without a World War. :P
I feel like I should find a smaller version of my coat of arms. Then I look at it and am reminded that even the eagle heads have crowns. A double-headed equal with a crown over its heads with both individual heads wearing smaller crowns. Idc, it can be as big and obnoxious as it wants. This thing is majestic. (Unless Outcast says otherwise. :P)

Will be travelling on-and-off the next couple of days. I'll still be on, but probably not to the extent that I have been so far. Update once I stop travelling, then after that, the mother of all mini-updates. Some of y'all are going to learn a harsh lesson in the costs of war. Also, I have to remain completely balanced and unbiased, and therefore should be observing but not directly taking part in any conference done through PMs or on IRC. I can only deal with stuff in the IC.

Once more, this is relevant:

Also, IRC? We have an IRC channel?
