Numair seemed to applaud his performance in casting a measurable amount of damage on the witch. Tossing the eyeball-flesh covered stone he had used to destroy one of the hag's eyes, Lesley huffed in pleasure at his accomplishment.

Witch: "Foolish mortals, we heal faster than your kind."

The pink-haired man oogled her freshly dismembered arm as the open wound and torn skin around it attempted to tighten and close, but it didn't look to be doing so well. This probed a snort to escape Lesley's nostrils which came simultaneously with the witch's surprised exclamation.

One of the hooded males and another pink-haired female looked as if they were attempting at attacking, blabbing about some picnic. In all honesty, they didn't look threatening to say the least. If anything, they appeared to act like over-sized toddlers and whiny preschoolers. As a result of the hooded figures failure to attack, Riley took the chance they posed as distraction to jam an arrow into the last functioning eye of the evil prune. Numair also dove right into the action, making straight up body contact with the old spell-caster. when they finally separated, the beat up granny got up once more and let out a screech so shrill, Lesley could almost eel his eardrums beginning to shatter.
The hooded figures went through much trouble and injuries, but eventually, they were able to rip out the hag's heart, which surprisingly, was just some dark gem. Well, they were in Nowhere after all, anything was possible. The entire time the newcomers had worked to defeat the over-powered witch, Lesley was too weak to do much else, but was glad to have contributed to the cause. He was able to breathe a heavy exhale of pure relief from all the chaos they had experienced. Though they had lost two of their own, it was a good thing that they were able to finish the fight without losing anymore.

Shortly after the victory, a trio emerged along with two smaller dragons. The female he knew was the rider because of the armor and how she addressed Avian, but the other two, which she later announced were more humans, he hadn't met before. In fact, he wasn't too pleased on welcoming anymore humans into their group. It'd be more people to mourn over now that he had become exposed to the painful reality of these quests. The Living List crossed off the Witch's Heart and the next item, a USB, appeared on the page.

A bomb was thrown onto the battle filed following the hooded figures short farewell. It caused quite a ruckus, even had him thinking it was a grenade along with a few other individuals and sadly, he didn't care much anymore. If he died then he died, there was no running away from that anymore. The reality of death was all too real at this point. Nowhere wasn't as whimsical and fun as he'd thought. The memories of tonight's loss flashed in his mind and he struggled to shake them away.

ace: "Hold your heads up high. We still have things to collect. You all still have people to see."

Everyone looked all used up and exhausted beyond any average human's capacity to work. It was by some miracle that they were all still able to function. The very thing he needed now was rest and since he felt rather safe, the fatigue was coming on in a giant, overwhelming wave of sleepiness and loosening of self-control. Dropping to his knees, he scanned the group along with the new additions and waited for the next step. At this point, he didn't give a crap, even passing out and sleeping right there and then was a welcomed possibility. Having the witch's heart stolen wasn't very ideal, but chasing after the hooded figures in their current state just wasn't a possibility. He wondered how they'd get back to shelter or if they'd even make it to bed that night.
I play for a basketball team. We took first yesterday so thanks for the support :D I'll try to get a post up today or tomorrow. School is starting in two weeks and I was supposed to finish some dumb book, but I'm only starting now :') 500pgs to go woohoo....-_-
Snuck a post in. Were playing for first tomorrow #prayforme.

Since Jasadi is sailing, I decided to pursue (Numley, Lesair, Lesnums, Numles) XP
oops double.

Riley: "We're not dying here, Les."

Riley tried to comfort him with a shaky voice and he looked up at her and nodded his head, tears streaming down his face. Right about now was a good time for Jasper to enter the scene, but he knew that she was tending to the guides of the group. It was then that the HF showed up and his whole outlook on the situation changed. Thanking whichever higher being answered his prayer, he froze when the most beautiful man he's ever laid eyes on approached him surrounded by an unsuspecting halo of light radiating from his tanned complexity.

Numair: “Hey, I’m here to help, okay?”

Lesley's mouth was hanging open and he nodded, speechless as he stared at the white-haired male give Harper a substance to drink.

Numair: “And that thing I made him drink? You’re not gonna like it, but it was poison. Don’t worry, it’s not deadly. It got tested on me when I broke my leg. It should slow his heart down and mitigate the bleeding for a few hours, and it would take a day for him to get his mobility back, but it was the only way, yeah?”

It didn't matter what the sexy stranger even said because whatever it was, Lesley just continued to nod and agree to everything he said. 'Oh, you fed my friend poison? Sounds good :D'

"Do you mind helping me move him under the dome?" Lesley asked whilst taking one of Harper's arms into his grasp. Once Numair had taken the other, the two of them dragged half carried the fainted boy towards the dome in which Martini sat with Song and Avian. The entire time they hauled the body, Lesley had his eyes glued to Numair's bulging biceps which were hardened from the physical labor. It was rather a troublesome task to keep his drool from spilling out of his mouth, but he managed to pull it off. Once Harper was put into the safe zone, he walked back with his new found man towards the fight.

The hooded figures and the humans were all working hard to weaken the old hag, throwing hits here and there. As Ace aimed and shot a spiked piece of wood at the witch who was already getting worn out from the other's attacks, the thing jabbed her at the side and Lesley grabbed a nearby rock, holding it into place for the witch. When the evil granny fell, the sharp point of the stone rammed straight into the sensitive flesh of her eyeball. Gagging a little, the witch screamed and clawed at his wrists violently, causing him to bleed a little from her sharpened nails, but he didn't stop, forcing the rock deeper into her sockets.

"Gouge out their eyes for they might capture you with a glance right?"

Kicking her back towards the group, the stone unwedged from her socket with a nasty squelch.
Have a sports tourney over the weekend. Will post first thing after I get back. Shoot the beautiful man approached.

Hands on his knees as he rested for a short period of time, he allowed the others to distract the witch from his presence a bit, but every time his friends took a hit, just watching was painful all on its own. Seeing Inadi land a blow to the witch using a strategic plan, he was surprised that the electricity didn't seem to be fazing the frame faced boy at all, yet the old hag looked like she was suffering.

Inadi: “How much more magic you got over there Les? Since I think that this thing can only be hit by magic for the time being.”

Peeking down at his necklace, it looked just about empty for the most part and he shook his head in slight defeat. "I'm pretty much out of juice," he replied as he shook the amulet within his palm. Suddenly, he heard one of the females shouting at the witch in annoyance, but the voice sounded unfamiliar, alien. Flicking his head around swiftly, he was caught off guard to find that the one yelling had been Leila. She barely ever used a voice above a whisper and now she was full on screeching sentences at the witch in the most frustrated tone he's ever heard from her. It was rather bold, he had to admit and he looked at her with an expression of both shock and worry because of the evil crone's possible reactions towards being scolded.

After a sickening moment of silence following Leila's outcry, it seemed as if the timid girl had scared the witch off, but of course, there was no way this fight was going to end just like that. Quiet during a battle with a monster is probably more nerve wracking than an on going non-stop fight. During the eerie lapse of time, the soil began to rumble and crack as roots below started to shift as a warning that the trees were now being awakened. Leila was now sinking into the ground and as Riley and Haku took failed attempts to save her, everyone was anchored down with wooden hands which uprooted out of the dirt beneath them. They couldn't do anything but listen to the witch's belittling speech which spoke the gut wrenching truth. Without the amulets they were practically useless, just a group of humans trapped in this dangerously whimsical land called Nowhere.

Leon was plucked up off his feet and suspended in the air, she used him to toy with Ace like she was a kitten and Leon was a ball of yarn. Lesley groaned and yelled as he tried to pry his feet out of the tight grasps holding onto his ankles. Splinters were digging into his skin and flesh, but Leon needed him. Watching the wind mage get thrown into the crowd of wicked trees, Lesley was basically thrashing like a maniac trying to yank himself out of his stuck state. Clawing wildly at the ground as he watched sharp branches dig into the boy's sides, like a fork piercing a piece of meat, he tired out as fast as Leon's life hold decreased and he was devoured by a plant- ironically. In the end, the pink haired man was sprawled on the ground, feet still fastened in place, while he thumped a fist against the dirt in exhausted desperation.

Feeling the secure hold of the roots let go, he looked up to see Hakuren making a rushed attack at the witch. The normally non-emotional man looked ten levels above enraged. The ice mage threw swift punches without much strategy and the witch used the same disappearing act with ease. Then the next thing that happened really rattled him to a personal playing field, the stone spell was consuming Hakuren at alarming speeds and subsequent to all their failed attempts to save him, he too, like Vince, ended up as a rock sculpture.

Harper broke just like Haku, charging head on and aimlessly swinging around attempts that they all knew, deep inside, would never make a hit. The witch was done with their "games" and she was very well capable of killing them all from the very beginning. She was just giving them false hope of defeating her to make their own endings feel a million times worse. While Ace took care of Leila, Lesley stumbled his way to Harper who looked to be bleeding out in a fetal pose. His stomach had been punctured and he was out cold. Shaking the boy as he stared into Harper's paling face, he lifted him onto his lap and rocked back and forth, pressing his head against the kid's forehead. "Please don't die, please, please, please," he was whispering the same words over and over again, his own tears falling onto Harper's cheeks. The pleading was aimed at any higher being above, if there was one or any, and he willed with all his might that there would be a miracle cast down on them.
*pops into IC and OOC after 2 days of absence*(face change in a span of 20 minutes)->(눈_눈 )......ლ(°д゚ლ)

My head hurts, my head hurts.. *chugs glass of water* *hyperventilates* *slaps face a couple times* *stares at IC blankly*
@Kimchi's post:Yes! It's about time we got some shirtless women around here!

No really, it was good stuff :) And guys, let's be honest here. Jasadi is gonna win because I secretly knew Inadi wouldn't budge therefore set up a master plan to match Jasper with Inadi during Lesley-questioning-Jasper scene she is a woman duh.

Is all good, Lesley can always take his fabulousness elsewhere. Speaking of which, new people are coming...
Congrats guys! The official anniversary? of this roleplay! Ehehe, I have great timing with drama don't I?

It's hard to know what to do with an overpowered witch without sounding op as well. Letting the others come up with something creative to solve the issue this time around.
