Bryony is a playful and whimsical girl who enjoys her solitude, tending to her many hobbies. She is very independent and philosophical if you look past her social ineptness and gullible personality. She is rather quirky and even founded her own religion which was a combination of all her favorite aspects of other religions – she believes in reincarnation and karma, but is also monotheistic and believes in the Christian God. She is very firm in her beliefs, religious or otherwise, and cannot be easily swayed to change her mind. She has obsessive-compulsive disorder and is very neat and organized; everything for her has to be even. She does not know the art of subtlety and is, in fact, blunt. She has a lot of expectations for herself and she wants to be able to affect the world and change the way it thinks.

Bryony grew up odd and weird, she never was lonely nor was she popular – she was just normal. She was born with a cataract in her left eye which is what led to her nickname “Milky”. Her muggle parents were wealthy, though not rich, and she lived happily in a large suburban house in England with her many pets and hobbies. When she was accepted into Hogwarts, the family had a lapse of awkwardness. Bryony’s parents didn’t know how to act around her anymore while Bryony felt isolated and stressed due to the new environment. By her third year, she spent more time with herself than her family over the holidays until, in fourth year, they had finally reconciled.
