YELLING IS FUN!!!! I LOVE YELLING AT MY FRIENDS, CALLING THEM BITCHES, AND TELLING THEM I HATE THEM. :D THAT'S HOW THEY KNOW I CARE. THAT I HONESTLY AM ABLE TO EXPRESS MY DEEP DISLIKE FOR THEM, AND EVERYBODY IN THE WORLD, IS HOW THEY KNOW I LOVE THEM. I don't know why I'm still talking in caps. I actually like people...sort of....not really. Okay, some people I wouldn't kill and many i would freaking massacre....
WOOP WOOP!!! LET'S GET IT STARTED IN HERE and uh...yeah. ....
A-yup!!!
Elodie believed she almost unlocked it when one of the alien-freaks that looked eerily like her pet lizard - not just lizards in generally, but this one looked like her lizard; it was uncanny! - grabbed her shoulder and began pushing it her roughly from her previous spot. Gritting her teeth against the tight grip, she halted any sudden movements and walked slowly as to not trip over the chains on her feet.

"Where are we going?" she demanded to know, but received no answer. Groaning loudly, she let her head fall back and loll along her shoulders.

They finally arrived into a crowded room, filled with cargo and hostages. Rolling her eyes as she was sat next to a metal crate which was unlocked. Part of her wondered, or hoped, that there would be one of those fancy laser guns in there, but at the moment she was bit too tied up to check.

Billie waited for something to happened. Anything. Standing in a crowd of people was never her strong suit. Crowds of any kind were never her strong suit. She even found it hard to be surprised by the strange Headmaster's words. It was something her mother would have done. Super flashy and unnecessary. She sighed, trying not to freak out because of the mass amount of people around her, all of them probably better than her. It was a pretty regular thing. After all, Billie was one of the lowest of her class. Her entrance exam over the summer hadn't exactly inspired much hope. She was in the freshmen classes even though she was clearly older than most of the students there. Still, she was trying and that was all that mattered, right? Even if everything blew up in her face. She bit her lip, trying her best to get out of the crowd and into a more... secluded area of sorts. She wasn't a loner... She just hated crowds. She always had. Something about feeling lost... She shook her head and quickly made her way down to the stables to check on Eva, more worried about the horse she hadn't seen all day than meeting with any of the other students...She paused at the door, memories coming back to her from this morning. The face of her mother, those worried eyes staring her down. She'd promised... Letting out a frustrated groan, Billie turned around, a scowl on her face no doubt, as she looked around the room for someone to talk to. She noticed a blonde girl sitting on the ground and decided to walk over to her, offering a hand to the younger female. Billie asked with her hand held out to the girl. She explained, her voice trailing off.

“Surprised?” another voice decided to startle the girl and Lovedaia would have surely bolted ten feet to the left and slightly up into the air if not for the fact she was still on her posterior. Either unperturbed or unnoticing her widening eyes and stiff spine, the blonde girl continued, “I would have been had I not been..preoccupied by other things…”

“Gods, don’t just come out of nowhere like that!” Lovedaia gasped, clutching at her fast beating heart. When it slowed a second later, she struggled to her feet, nearly falling over, but righting herself at the last minute.

Taking a moment, Lovedaia studied the girl. She was taller than herself and had long wheat-colored hair that had a slight wave to it. Her skin was tan and her nose sharp. Lovedaia couldn’t remember seeing this girl, ever, and decided that friends were good, friends were great, friends were easy to man-i-pu-late. Also because Lovedaia didn’t have any friends and really wanted something to do this year instead of climbing trees simply to overhear conversations and laugh about them.

Clasping her hands behind her back and leaning forward slightly, Lovedaia smiled. “Hello! I’m Lovedaia or you can call me Lufu…or Lovedaia. It really doesn’t matter. Who’re you? What are you studying? I’m studying pythomancy – are you perhaps studying pythomancy? That would be so awesome if we both studied pythomancy! Uh, what did you say your name was?”

Effie jumped down from the rooftop and into the alley, barely avoiding a puddle of foul-smelling liquid that was obviously urine. Flicking her red mane out of her face and removing the white mask from her countenance, Effie grinned. It was a terrifying sight, really. A woman with weapons strapped to her body like individual hairs grown on a dog and a suspicious crimson liquid splattered across her body paired with the wicked smile that gleamed in the dark. If anyone were to see her, they would probably faint. Effie grasped the first poster she found and wiped down her body, the blood smearing easily on the parchment. She took a moment to study the stains on the poster before she noticed the words that decorated it.

"Blah, blah, blah, Spider Nest Tavern, blah, blah, blah, recruitment something, something, something." she mocked to herself, her eyes skipping the dull parts. "Hm, I could use a drink...and if there's money involved, I might join in."

Nodding to herself in confirmation, she gripped the poster and travelled through the alleyways. Effie was careful to avoid the main streets, she would hate it if she was questioned about the recent assassination in the city. Hilalo Waker's death was messy and Effie had a hard time removing everything that could link to her identity, even going as far as to pluck every single red strand of hair from the room. Finally she found the side door to the tavern and she entered it nonchalantly. Taverns were filled usually with thugs that wouldn't bother to look twice at her, or so she hoped. There was that one town that was insanely pure and was strict on morals - when they saw her, a third of the population protested for her burning. Once entered, she approached two males at the bar; one was elven and the other was...peculiar. She didn't say anything, but she carefully and surreptitiously inspected them for a matching poster. It was best to know her allies before they knew her, or else they might be potential enemies.

"Ale." Effie muttered when the bartender glanced at her curiously. He nodded, swiping a glass from the shelf and filling it to the brim.
Daia Vandergult breathed in the night air, her hand tightening around her trident. Amongst the livid commoners with pitchforks, it blended in well except for the golden varnish around the durable steel. A pale hand caressed the weapon in admiration, letting the riot bevy around her. The citizens all cheered, heaving their fists into the heavens in merriment – Daia could almost taste their exhilaration in the wind and she inhaled deeply, a grin stretching her cheeks. Part of her wanted to join them in impaling the Signet, but the larger piece of her desired something more…gratifying.

Nimble fingers slipped into the pocket of a nearby man with a hairless head. The shabby quality of his rather light coin purse was euphoric in her palm. Licking her lips, Daia pocketed the coin purse and let out a sympathetic sigh as it was almost certainly all the funds he had. His loss, her gain, though, and that was most important – her gain. The blonde was about to make her way to the heart and stash the money on the Signet, but then she heard it. It was a reverberation that could only come from a human, but it sharply resembled that of a bluejay’s call. Groaning under her breath, she shortened the staff of her trident and strapped it onto her back before smoothing her luxurious tunic of any ruffles her anticipation caused. Stalking from the crowd, Daia just managed to pilfer another coin purse. She smiled sweetly, yet viciously.
