Angel was with her father going to a trip to Florida when they're plane crashed and there were few survivors. This was when Angel was 15, The crash reminded her father of the sight of his Wife and unborn child in the car crash all those years ago and once he had recovered, It drove him to insanity. The man tried to murder Angel while she was asleep. The man had tripped over one of Angels books and impaled himself in the eye with the knife he was going to use to murder Angel, Angel awoke and ran off for help but was too late. The man had died nearly instantly. Angel blamed herself for the incident and fled the area. Angel later found out that she was adopted while talking to a woman, who turned out to be the one working at the orphanage when Angel was there, and only made Angel feel alone in the world. Angel had not been told of her parents deaths due to the woman not knowing, so she set off to find her birth parents. Angel was crossing through a small cozy town when her vision blurred and she fell unconscious. She then awoke in a gothic castle with no recollection of how she got there or anything else about herself. She knew her name and she definitely knew one thing, she did not like this situation at all.
Need more flaws in personality and the backstory needs less tragedy, not to offend but most of that is not plausible. The personality is a basic Mary-sue one: protective, nice, caring, but can turn into a cold killer? Unless she has multiple personality disorder, which doesn't work that way, it won't work. I'm sorry, but pick protective nice and caring or protective cold and maybe caring deep, deep, deep inside. If he had gone insane, in this day and age, the signs would be caught before he did anything drastic. The fact that not only were her parents murdered, her surrogate father traumatized by his wife's and unborn child's death, but she also got into a plane crash, which only happens at least every three years, is not plausible at all in this generation. I'm sorry if I'm coming off harsh, I hate it when I do, but I can't accept it.
