Ooh...I had to edit my post because someone got there quicker XD Btw, foxes are canines.
Astrid yawned as she slumped into her History chair, ignoring all the others that entered and opened up a textbook to appear busy.
The knife slid from her hand smoothly, slicing through the air and embedding into the target that just so happened to be a picture of some chauvinistic pig whose name currently escaped her. Henry was intensely satisfied when the knife tore through the big, bald head. The woman was tense and antsy, she hadn’t been able to work lately and she was starting to feel unproductive; she hated that feeling. She was itching to be out, killing sinister things. But no…she’s in her parents’ basement, throwing darts at a crappy picture. The situation could have been a tad bit better if she was allowed to practice at her apartment, but the neighbors had a problem with noise. Biting her lip, she threw another knife and it accidentally slipped, barely nicking her finger. Cursing under her breath, she picked it up and threw it harder than she had previously. Her phone began to buzz like those flies that you can never see, but you always hear.

Jumping, she prayed for a mission or anything! She unlocked her phone and the awaited message was staring back at her. Now, she will never admit this to anyone if they asked, but she squealed in excitement at the prospect of a new case. She quickly threw on clothes and boots before stomping her way up the stairs and to her vehicle. On the ride to the coffee shop, her fingers drummed eagerly on the wheel and her leg trembled with ecstasy. She had so much energy to burn; she was praying that it would be a good fight. She pulled up and parked the car into a spot before thrusting the door open and tripping out.
Ah, I can't decide on a power for Henry...Anybody have any suggestions?
Helen rolled her eyes when two boys began to chitter with the girl in front of her. The droning of their voices was beginning to get annoying and Helen was debating about kicking Cara's seat - seeing how jumpy she is, it might trigger a heart attack and those boys might just go away. She had actually thought of the odds of that happening and when realizing that the odds weren't in her favor, she decided to let her annoyance be known with an exaggerated sigh. It didn't seem to get their attention which angered Helen even more. It was too early in the morning to be starting fights, but her irritation level was way too high. Leaning forward, she jabbed one of the boys' shoulder and made sure she had her fiercest glare present. Maybe a little intimidation could make them go away; it's worked before.

(OOC: Doesn't matter if it's Isaac or Nate, whoever wants to be jabbed...)
Astrid had snuck into the school through the cafeteria, avoiding any other students that were to congregate in front of the school. Her cake was only half eaten and she stabbed it violently with a fork, stuffing it into her face as she sluggishly walked to her history class. Astrid, so far, was not in a good mood; her tail was awkwardly stuffed into her jeans and her hair felt greasy because she hadn't been able to take a shower that morning. Though, the oiliness of it all could not be noticeable, thanks to her good genes. She arrived to the door of her history class, but waited outside for a few minutes to finish her cake before she walked in.

Name: Augustyna “August” Repinski
Age: 18
Occupation: Part-time Librarian

Gear: Sketch book, pencils,
Personality:
Augustyna is a Polish girl who recently moved to Northgate for her father’s job. She is quiet and sullen with an unapproachable feel to her. She finds it extremely hard to express her emotions, especially the positive ones, and she mostly comes off as annoyed. She is rather straightforward and blunt with a condescending attitude. August is misanthropic, meaning she dislikes/distrusts humanity in general and will often avoid people. It is a personal philosophy as she feels humans are immoral. So, with that in mind, she prefers the presence of animals and she likes to be alone to draw when she is bored. She follows authority and never disobeys her parents which leads her to having a simple life. However, deep inside, she wishes for adventure and hates her boring life.
Background:
Augustyna’s father is a famous Polish author and her mother is a hyperactive shopaholic. Ever since she was little, Augustyna had a love for art and urged her father to take her to art museums and such. She enjoys sketching and painting, and any other sort of art medium. However, she never got along with anyone in particular and always had trouble making friends. When Augustyna was seventeen, her father decided to move them to Northgate, United States for the setting of his next book. Augustyna easily got a job and settled down whilst her parents were busy fooling around and learning American custom.

Can I just ask a question, do the male slots have to be occupied by 'males' or could they be other women, so it's like a lesbian relationship, if this is not allowed, may I ask why?

I'm okay with a lesbian relationship, but I don't think our characters would go well together...since mine is essentially mean and yours is shy and insecure.

Ah, hello! This may require a new thread but maybe, just maybe, we can make it work

Name:
Henrietta “Henry” Abney
Age:
26
Gender:
Female
Weapons:
She has throwing knives.

Personality:
Henry is a hotheaded woman who refuses to be treated unequally. She is a big feminist and hates unfair treatment regarding anyone based on gender, race, sexuality, etc. She is straightforward and is not afraid to speak her mind, even if it hurts others, and is majorly sarcastic. She is a perfectionist, as well as a workaholic, and must have everything the way she likes it. Henry is not afraid to question authority, might even jump at the chance, but in the end, she is loyal to the extremes and will lay down her life for her teammates.
Bio:
Henry is the daughter of a reporter and an author, but that is not what got her into the supernatural. Her grandfather, Henry – which she was named after – was obsessed with the supernatural and was convinced that his wife was trying to contact him as a ghost. Growing up, Henrietta had become submerged in her grandfather’s stories and they became extremely close. They bonded over the supernatural possibilities as they were both enamored with the idea of a world they couldn’t grasp. When Henrietta grew older, however, she began to believe in her grandfather’s fairytales less and less until finally she refused to talk about it. The two had grown apart; Henrietta was now a teenager who was busy with life, while Henry was rotting away in his home, retired and lonely. Henry died when Henrietta was sixteen. The doctors say it was of a heart attack, but Henrietta was traumatized by his death and felt such an immense disbelief, that she began to believe that something of the supernatural did it. There was no proof of such things, but that didn’t stop Henrietta from looking. Henrietta even adopted her grandfather’s name, Henry, as a shortened version of her own in remembrance of him. Her parents began sending her to grief counseling, therapy, anything that would get rid of her delusions. Henry stuck by her theory, she delved into the supernatural world and no one was ever able to get her out.
Other:
She has a sweet-tooth.

So, I adore girls having guy names by the way. Though, I only like it if it's short for a feminine name. Anyways, I was thinking Henry would have premonition? Does this sound alright? And is my character okay?
