Helen was not a masochist - she really wasn't - but she'd be lying if she didn't say she enjoyed fighting. Matter of fact, she thrived on the violence. In military school, there was always time to fight and wrestle at the gym, but at this public school...well, she was surrounded by weaklings and it pissed her off. So, when she started chuckling and her mood began to lighten up, it took her by surprise but not wholly so. She hadn't gotten her ass kicked since she was fourteen! Brushing off the guy - Nate was his name? - with a small nod and a light smile, she jumped to her feet and clapped Isaac on his shoulder,
"I have to say, you have amazing luck!" She praised, before continuing with a slight jab, "But if you were to get in a real fight with me, I'd kick your ass."
She then proceeded to cross her legs and use the momentum to sit down lightly in the circle.

Helen knew she wasn't that well liked in the house - she didn't actually particularly care to be fairly honest - so it was easy to pick up on Isaac's avoidance. Ignoring her would have normally have gone unnoticed, as most do ignore the temperamental brunette, but in such a small group it had caused her blood to boil. Of course, her father had always told her that revenge was best served like ice cream: cold. But...Helen didn't have the patience, so she decided that annoying the boy would be enough. Standing up and stretching her legs, she practically flung herself onto him and latched on like a parasite.
"Y'know, it's mean to ignore girls." She said, shifting all her weight onto him. But now that she took a good, long minute, she must've decided on this course of action by the tiniest of alcohol pumping through her veins.
