I hope it's ok that I sort of steered Caitlin and David into the compartment with Prof. Hawkins, Mark and Rose :)

David instinctually understood what was happening when Caitlin had suddenly gone into panic mode. He heard the loud train signaling their departure and he put his book and wand away as he helped Caitlin into a random compartment.

"Hopefully we can find an empty one," David said, "don't worry, it'll pass like it always does." They somewhat stumbled into a compartment with people already in it (Prof. Hawkins, Mark and Rose).

"I'm quite sorry about this guys," David said, his Brittany accent becoming more pronounced under the stress, "my friend is a bit under the weather due to the trains departure." He helped Caitlin take a seat next to the woman (Prof. Hawkins). He then smiled and pulled out some magic chocolate from his bag and gave it to Caitlin. "I came prepared this time. These are special chocolates that should help with the nauseous feeling. He had found the chocolate in Diagon Alley, in the famous Weasley shop. There were some pretty cool things to be found there. A picture of one of the twins who perished during the Battle of Hogwarts could be seen over a fireplace with dancing multicolored fire. He had met Molly Weasley, who was at the Battle of Hogwarts. He didn't get to ask her questions or anything and he didn't really want to bother her, so he just bought his things and went to meet up with his parents for dinner.

He placed a hand on her shoulder to comfort her and then stood. It seemed that the compartment was at full "technical" capacity, but there was still some room to squeeze in. "Don't worry guys," he said, "I have an idea." He took out his wand and pointed it towards the side of the compartment with the window. It was just a simple extension charm. He flicked his wand and spoke the charm. The tip of his wand glowed a little, but it did not have the intended effect. Instead of the compartment extending, the entire compartment as well as the entire train cart shook violently, causing the windows to reverberate. David stumbled back a little. After a moment of awkwardness, a small note slipped into the compartment from under the door.

"Oh," David said, moving back towards the window and looking at the note that had turned into a talking makeshift paper mouth, "this is not good."

"Dear Mr. David Saint-Vincent Du Martin Le Croisé," the female voice spoke from the note. "As Mistress Undersecretary Third Red Class of the Hogwarts Express Adherence and Truancy Compliance Enforcement Department, I am informing you that you are in violation of Section Four-thousand-six-hundred-and-twenty-seven, clause eighty-two: No witch or wizard may utilize an extension charm on or within a compartment for any reason, including loss of life or threat thereof. As an underaged wizard and student of the esteemed Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizzardry, you will not be taken henceforth to Azkaban." David wasn't sure how relieved he should feel about that since he thought that being sentenced to Azkaban for an illegal extension charm was a bit over reacting. "I can assure you that I am not overreacting and an Illegal extension charm is reason enough to submit someone to Azkaban under my book. If it were up to me, I would-" the note cleared its...throat, "anyway - Ten points from Ravenclaw!" With that, the note shredded itself and the compartment was silent. It was then that he noticed Prof. Hawkins.

"Please tell me you're not the new Headmistress of Ravenclaw," David said, then quickly added, "Ma'am." His face was red and he felt really embraced and bad about possibly scaring everyone on the train. Not only that, he had just lot ten points for Ravenclaw, in front of it's headmistress. This day could not get any worse.
The OOC is up guys! Please go ahead and post your CS"s. I want to keep it at about 8 players, but things might change.

If there are already 8 Players, excluding myself, please ask if slots are available prior to submitting a CS for approval.

Kirah is the designated Mod for this RP.

A Player named AnnaBeth introduced me to Chatzy. Click on the link to access our very own chat room. I will try to be on as much as possible, even while doing my homework and studying for my test, to answer any questions you may have.

Interest Check

Liquid Memories

In a large quiet space station, people of all types and ages awake in strange rooms with no memory of how they got there - or who they are. A strange voice, a cross between a man and a machine, addresses the lost souls aboard the station. The hallways are empty, there are rooms with nothing in them, and through the many large windows and the atrium, where one can stroll through a makeshift park, a planet that might or might not be Earth is visible. There are no ships docking or making passes. The space around them is completely devoid of life or movement other than the celestial motions of the universe. Everyone and then, bright lights come into existence on the planet, like explosions on a mass scale, only to fade away.

Survive the "games" or die, is the voice's decree. Each and everyday, the Sleepless, as the voice calls them, must participate in a different game designed by the voice. Each game is different, from political intrigue, to post-apocalyptic nightmares. Die in the game. Die in real life.

Beat the never-ending games, or find a way out before you run out of lives.

Your character's name can be found on a teddy bear in their room. The bear can be creepy or cute to incorporate horror elements.

Aprox Age Range: As you likely do not know your exact age because of lack of memories, please include an approximate age range that your character thinks they are.

Describe up to 5 items in your room and the histories that they suggest. These are vague histories, not fully fleshed out. As we learn more about ourselves we can fill out the Personal Profile. Things that happen during the story will trigger your memories, but the triggers have to make sense. For example: buttered toast might trigger a memory of your mom making you toast and a conversation you had with her at the table which will reveal more things about you. Our histories will be dynamic, and your character might assume something from a memory, only to have it corrected in a later memory that clarifies things.

Self Assessment: This are the traits that your character notices about themselves. Prone to anger? Calm and level headed?

Journal: Your character may keep a journal, which everyone can find in their respective rooms. It is up to you whether your character will update this journal with their thoughts and feelings and observations about other characters. Try to indent any journal entries if you can in order to make the entries easier to spot.

Approval: All Character Sheets must receive approval prior to posting in the IC, to be created after we have enough players.

Please do not hesitate to ask me any questions or to make suggestions as they are always welcome. Also, let me know if you would like me to post more backstory or description. I want to leave it as open as possible for you to develop your own theories for your character.

Posting Requirement: I can be very scatter brained and so ask you to please include your characters name in each of your posts to make it easy to remember who's story we are reading. It might be an odd request, but it really does help me to stay focused and know who I'm reading about.

My Character Sheet

Name:
Milo Heartworth

Apox Age Range:
17-19

Room Items: (Up to 5)

  • A photograph of Milo and another boy that looks exactly like him, both smiling at the camera.

  • A worn and bent birthday card that reads: Forgive me, Mom.

  • An acceptance letter addressed to him from a French university welcoming him as a Freshmen.

  • There is a mirror with cracked glass. There are some barely visible scars on his knuckles.

  • A pair of dark rimmed glasses. The prescription doesn't seem to work for him.

Self Assessment:
Milo feels very calm, but he can feel a hidden anger inside him. He has barely visible scars on his knuckles, suggesting that he is the one who cracked the mirror. Thus, he believes that he isn't superstitious. He feels strong, suggesting that he works out a lot, or did at least. He thinks long before acting, as evidenced by his analysis of his room before even getting out of the bed he found himself in. He also notes that he tends to get too focused on small details and it's hard to tear himself away from a thought.

Personal Profile (Under Development):
If the photograph is anything to go on, Milo strongly believes that he has a twin brother, unless the photo was manipulated in some fashion. He's not sure if he'd be happy to find that his brother is also in this place. Where is he? The cracked glass and the scars on his knuckles suggest that, while he is calm most of the time, he can have dangerous quick bursts of anger and maybe hatred. Maybe it was due to the note his mother left on his birthday card. He isn't sure, but perhaps the first day that he finds himself in this place is his birthday, but it could be an old card. He was likely going to attend a French University, farther emphasized by his ability to speak French. He isn't sure what the glasses represent, but they are not his since they don't work for him and he can see just fine without them and in fact has really good vision.

Bear:
A soft blue bear with a round on its face. It is placed inside an open casket made of mahogany.

Journel:
A brown leather book with a black ribbon and thick paper with no lines.

Appearance:

Wow! Thanks for all the interest guys! I do have a plot idea and a sort of outline in my head. I will work on an OOC and post it here. I already have the basic stuff written out, but I want to make sure to have everything good before I post it.

I have a statistics class so I will get right on this after class. I'm really excited to rp with you guys!
Glad you like it :)
She is such an awesome character Eyeris!
Hello!

I have this sort of odd idea about a bunch of people suddenly waking up on a space station in their own room without any memory of how they got there or who they are. There are subtle clues spread throughout the room, like photographs and in every room there is a teddy-bear with a name tag on it, presumably the name of the room's occupant. There is a voice that speaks throughout the ship and every day we are forced to participate in a game held in the enormous chamber at the center of the huge space station.

In this daily game, we get to pick powers and weapons from the options given. All the while, while we are out of the game, assuming we survive it each time, we try to find a way out and explore the strange space station.

Please let me know if you find this interesting and if you have anything to add.

David smiled at the newcomer, the evident parent of the owl.

When Singer finally gave up trying to sing, David let him fly to Ava, joining the owl and hopping around to get Ava's attention.

"Hi Ava," David smiled at her, "you're brother talks about you all the time." David saw something out of the corner of his eye, some sort of amazing creature outside the window that entrapped his attention for a second. A shimmer seemed to surround Ava, not visible per say, but more of a feeling. David could tell that there was a connection between her and the Avian creatures. David furrowed his brow in pretend secrecy and spoke to Ava, "If he sings again, just tell him the Narggles will get him."

"It's nice to finally meet your little sister, Rem," David said, placing his bag on his seat. He turned to Rhea.

"It's nice to meet you officially," he smiled.

As Roy stepped onto the scene, he smiled back at his housemate, "special sometimes really means 'special,' Roy," David said. "Even if we don't all want to be in Hufflepuff, we should all want to be in Hufflepuff," he smiled at being seemingly deep and clever before looking at Ava and winking, "I read that in a book somewhere."

His train of thought was suddenly interrupted by Caitlin's sudden burst of anger at Rem and Roy. He smiled a little and tried not to burst out laughing. "I'll see you guys at school." He waved his wand at his bag to follow him and it lifted from the seat and hovered near him. Before he left he spoke to Ava in a conspiratorial low voice that everyone could hear.

"Let me know what you name them, Okay?" He smiled, glancing at the creatures outside the window. "Go ahead and take my seat Roy, I think all of us in here is perhaps too many," he laughed, clapping his hand on his housemate's shoulder. He whistled for Singer to follow as he left the cabin. The Raven made a small sound of protest, looking at Ava then at the retreating David, before acquiescing and flying gracefully to David's shoulder, releasing a feather in the process. David used the levitation charm to trap it in the air.

"Any of you guys can have the raven feather if you'd like. It's really good for many potions, like the muse potion." He gave a last farewell before entering the train hall and heading after his friend.

"Kay!" He called after her. "So you had words for your enemies, but not for your friend," he smiled when he caught up to her. "So," he said excitedly, walking beside her, his bag following behind and his Raven pruning itself, his leather-bound journal leaving his backpack and opening to the page he needed in front them, "I think I finally have the right mix of ingredients to create the Fillius Flying Flees." He pointed at a drawing he made, not a very good one, of an herb that could be found in the Forbidden Forest, "only it's in the Forbidden Forest and I have no idea how to find it. I think it's called, Cazmatere, Cafamere, something like that."

As they walked, his book hit someone in the head that was passing by. The third year Slytherin didn't say anything but glared at them as she passed them by.

"Sorry," David said, turning back to Caitlin and smiling. "Five points to Ravenclaw for defeating a Slytherin," he whispered.
Prints Avoid, yeah, they would most likely know each other haha. They can be friends I think, they have such different personalities though haha, but I think that makes it interesting.
