She replied. it was true, Gertrude thought that friends would only get in the way, and that acquaintances would help more on a journey... Jie looked at her. 'Well...' She thought 'I know what we're gonna try and fix while we're here...' Jie walked beside the hulking Gertrude. Gertrude was at least a foot taller than Jie, maybe even more. 'acquaintances...' Jie muttered. 'I don't think so...'

'So, who would you want on a team?' Jie asked. Gertrude lifted up her hand and clenched it. 'Only the most strongest!' She started 'Disciplined and honorary of them all! Those who believe in compassion, and those who seek mercy as a last resort! I want the most mentally and physically strongest on my team!' She shouted. Gertrude lowered her hand and breathed in.

Jie smiled as the ship landed, and followed the other students down the ramp. Gertrude sighed, picking up a sheathed Steelethrone and Ragna. She quickly bucked Steelethrone around her waist and walked down the ramp. Soon enough, she found herself next to Jie, making her way towards the academy. 'Lovely grounds...' Jie admitted, taking a moment to appreciate the floral of the academy. 'Oh great she's a flower lover...' Gertrude thought, crossing her arms. 'Oh, I apologise i'm getting distracted!' Jie said with a smile. Gertrude kept her serious frown remained. 'Let's just hope the flower side of your mind won't get in the way of combat.' She said. Jie remained her smiley face.

Jie swiftly turned around to see the ruckus with The two. She swiftly walked pass them and sat close to Gertrude. 'I'd never expect a reunion of all things.' Jie said with a smirk. 'hmm?' Gertrude said 'Yes, but does it have to be so loud?' She asked Jie. The two looked at each other, then back at Simon and Priscilla. 'I'm guessing that you're Jie Huan?' Gertrude asked, crossing her legs. 'And you must be Miss Wimbleton...' Jie replied. 'I believe our families have past business accounts together...' Gertrude said. 'Well, I hope we're furthur acquainted with each other... Maybe even partners...' Jie said, smiling. She got up, and walked back to the window, past Simon and Priscilla.
