Hi.... so I'd like to attempt to join the rp, but I'm not sure if my CS is up to snuff yet so I'm submitting what I think I have done right and asking what needs to be explained in more detail or changed. Please be patient, because I haven't rp'ed for a while and maybe rusty. Thanks in advance.

So... I was wondering if I could add one ship to the rp. Just a rag tag group of pirates/ merchants who had flown too close to too many black holes and had been propelled into the future. All I'd really do is trade technology between races in exchange for their own tech (As well as make some hilarious jokes the whole time). I'd also be an opportunity to show off your characters races when they aren't at each other's thoat. The ship would be pretty advanced and have plenty of stasis storage contains. The crew wouldn't be more than 20 guys, with like 5 of them named. Anywho... I'd like to know your thoughts, questions, or concerns.
I am rather interested. I'd hope there is room for one more. I also have some questions regarding the old gods, new old, and their respective domains. I'm probably going to be the most experimental with the magic so the sooner I get data, the sooner I can get to creating. X3
So I just joined earlier this week and I'm slowly losing faith that this RP mainly because whenever somebody challenges Duck he either meta-games or god-mods his way out of the hostile situation. I've also been reading the IC posts and it would seem that the EU is impossible to beat, mainly because of his unchecked methods. Everything before was just relatively minor, but now it seems that his un-named, minor characters can dodge rounds fired at point blank with no idea of what is happening. I genuinely like the RPers here and have great ideas on what should be going on (props to ASTA for pointing out that stealth systems don't work in space. Much intelligent! Very win) but Duck seems to be breaking the game at every turn. This is RP 101, Duck. You cannot dodge, shield, or ignore your way out of everything.

@Apollo: I need that gif for my sig, bruh......

Operative 079

Receiving permission to fire when ready, 079 leaned back onto the large rocket focusing all of his helmet cams toward the runway. Readying his energy manipulators for what would be a very 'interesting' ride, he soon heard a loud voice over the radio. "Hold 079! Phalcorna is in your flight path." He grumbled as he saw the head of the large creature pop out of the water just at the end of the runway. The large herbivore, looked around calmly before noticing the small group of soldiers shooing it away. Although the beast is 3 times their size, it swiveled its fins and swam away quickly. Receiving a thumbs up from the small group they cleared the runway as 079 got back into position. Turning his head back toward Ariamas, he noticed the lieutenant whispering something into her ear. Turning his head back toward the runway he rested his finger on the trigger. One final check of his and the rocket's systems and 079 began to charge his manipulators. Fulling the trigger for the rocket, he was quickly thrust forward with a large amount of force and speed. Using the manipulators to adjust his pitch and yaw, 079 quickly acclimatized to the g-forces he was now subjected to. It was a bit of a struggle to keep his head up, but his power armor allowed him to compensate for the weakness in his neck. He would need to ask Aria to help with that later. About 2 miles out now, 079 began to notice the fuel for the rocket was beginning to deplete. Putting his finger on the detach switch, put the energy manipulators on his feet to full power. As the fuel was finally depleted, he flicked the switch and slid across the surface of the water until finally coming to a stop 4 meters from where he made impact with the water. Using his energy manipulators to hover above the water, he radioed back to the rest. "So.... did we get any good results? I hope so, my neck is aching." Ariamas calmly came on the line. "You did fine, though it will be a while before we actually use something like this practically. We sending someone to pick you up. When you get back get prepped to move out and be briefed. It would seem that we are now at war."
So I just re-read his post and I see no mention of him dis activating his stealth systems. In fact he specifically mentions keeping them active and moving from the point of origin.

“Open a channel with the enemy contact and tell them we are in need of assistance, encrypt a mayday signal in there too. Make sure to keep our position hidden, send it in a burst message and then lets use the compressed air thrusters to move us away from the source."

This isn't a hard fix Duck. Just edit your previous post without the scanning.
@Duck: Well not exactly. Seeing as he sent out a burst message (which is a message without the residual data that is left behind), by the time the message got to you there would be no waves for you to track. Its like how a anti-radiation missile tracks its target. It there is no radiation for it to follow, then the missile's path does not change.

Also I'm curious how you deduced that the has nothing wrong with the ship, since its stealth systems are active and had moved from its original position after sending the message. Unless you were tracking it from its point of origin before it entered stealth I find it hard to believe that your scout ship can penetrate its stealth systems.
So if I'm reading this right...... Duck has shields that allow him to be moving gods in space with nukes, rail-guns, and mach cannons. Should I bow down to his Empire now or later? Shame.... I had so man fun ideas, but I guess I shall die before I land on planet. By the way we have to keep in mind that we are talking about his scout ships that have the shield capacity of a dreadnaught class Covenant super carrier. So is High Charity the rest of his fleet or something even worse?

Ariamas Talai

A pair of tired eyes settled on the young operative strapped to the front of a very powerful and large rocket, grumbling at the thought that this under-designed piece of equipment may actually work. Lifting her tablet to look at the status of the engines and operative, Ariamas slowly walked down the runway toward her Vanguard. As she arrive, a lieutenant saluted her, only to not receive one back from the former Captain. Clearing his throat, he spoke. "Ms. Talai, all preparations have been made and we simply waiting for our lane to clear." Ariamas sighed. "Tell me lieutenant...... what's your name?" The man straightened himself out. "Ulisism. Cassius Ulisism." Aria rolled her eyes. "Lieutenant Cassius.... do you intend to be as useful as my tablet or are you going to be a living breathing Aradite and tell me what you think." She spoke blandly as she stared at her tablet. The officer was taken off gear by her remark as she turned her attention to the operative. "Vanguard 079, what is your opinion on our little test?" Aria asked loudly. The cameras on the vanguard's helmet focused on Aria, keeping his eyes trained on the runway. "Well Ma'am.... I'm strapped to a rocket that may explode when launched and if this test is a success, then I will be flying at high speed out into the ocean. All in all, I think this is going to be fun either way."Aria patted 079 on the shoulder and smiled before looking toward Lieutenant Cassius. "This isn't a military operation, Cassius. Speak your mind or don't speak at all." Cassius' shoulders dropped as he sighed. "Ma'am I am worried about the safety of the operative. This barely seems practical and even then that is a stretch." 079 chuckled loudly as he settled into his position. Aria grinned. "I agree! This device would be more effective if it could deliver a squad to the battlefield, but we are testing whether or not it is possible for an operative to pilot the device without hitting the ground or flying into the air uncontrollably. 079, do you have your fail safe button on hand and ready?" He nodded as Cassius slowly began to walk off the run way. Aria waved toward the medical team close by. "Are you gentlemen ready if anything 'interesting' happens?" The team leader gave her a thumbs up as she followed the lieutenant. Settling in at the observation area, Ariamas leaned back in her chair. "Fire when ready...." She remarked calmly.
