Well we have two interested. I didn't really think the opening would look that huge when I was typing it but I tried to lay out the world and expectation of the role play if it was going to occur.

Well seeing how you guys never really got out of the introduction stage, starting over and starting the intended story would be easy. I for one would wish for an advanced RP.

Well the way I imagine it and I realized that I have in no way mentioned it but I felt it was kind of like that show, Cowboy Bebop. You know where the setting is futuristic there are futuristic technology available but the items used are still recognizable. Such as a pistol will still look like a pistol of today but hey if it shoots bullets or lasers that is up to the user. Their just has to be a trade off like lasers eat through almost anything but is susceptible to overheating problems and where are bullets would be weaker in this scenario, the rounds and rate of fire would be superior to that of a laser pistol. So really, futuristic but not too futuristic. This is human civilization collapsing and innovation really slowed down, intergalactic space travel and colonization of other planets wasn't achieved, things of that nature.

Broxs stands at 7 feet and 9 inches tall and has the build to fill it out. His hide is a tan with a dark brown color on covering the back of his head and with his forehead becoming a dull red gradient. His shoulder hump high accounting for 2 inches of his height and his eyes are green like a lush forest. He prefers to wear dark colored armor, a dark navy blue or black and when he wears a helmet he favors the six red eye design with the color matching his armor.

History:
At birth, Talyth Broxs was special. Born into the Krogan clan Talyth soon after the cure of the genophage and was born of the first eggs. He is 15th of 85 siblings and made his mark from the beginning. He was one of 15 that show promise of using biotic powers and when he reached the age of 40, the 15 were sent off world on the dreadnought "Valterus", named after Krogan supporter Ellis Valterus, so that they would receive biotic training .

Their instructors were Urgnot Zant and Urgnot Wiks, both able and proven Krogan Battlemasters. The rigorous training lasted almost 50 years. The graduation test was to defeat a a small force of raiders, maybe 40-50 non-biotic raiders. After boarding ship the Korgan Battlemasters went about covertly, not being detected yet something caught Urgnot Wiks' attention. They couldn't find any raiders on the ship, it was a decoy with a direct course to a slaver's planet. When they found out, it was already too late. One of the Talyth students tried to assume control of the ship but instead forced it into a crash landing kill ten of the Korgan, Urgnot Zant and the brief Krogan pilot among the dead. Luckily the crash landed far from where it was originally intended and the remaining six were able to grasp their surrounding.
For three years did the six Krogan hid on that planet of slavers, raiding camps in desperate search of a working ship. One where they didn't flee. It wasn't until Talyth Broxs devised a plan to attack one of the largest settlements on the slaver planet, counting on their arrogance of a larger force number and delay fleeing until it was too late.

After three days of fighting the Krogan broke through, but what was six was now four and Broxs was correct. There were two slaver ships still in port when they reached the loading bay. Season killers and survivors, Urgnot Wiks officially granted the three remaining Krogan the title of battlemasters and Talyth Broxs as a Krantt to him.
A couple centuries went by and Talyth Broxs spent most of his life working as a mercenary, jumping from fleet to fleet. He became nomadic in nature and fierce in battle supplying himself with the top of the line of Kassa Fabrication equipment line and even became a poster boy with them at a time. He lost out of touch with his fellow survivors but now and then tales of their glory would past his ear, he no doubt believe word of his glory reached them.

After coming back from a mission set on Omega to take out an army of mercenaries like himself, Talyth Broxs received a mysterious email from an undisclosed. Untroubled at first he opened in and to his surprise it was about the death of his teacher and Krantt, Urgnot Wiks, who died tragically in service of the Council. Broxs felt... sad by the news, first time in centuries. He almost refused to continue reading but he did, the letter wasn't just about the death of Wiks but that he was to join a secret Citadel force on a mission but his untimely death has left a void. Broxs was extended the offer because of his valor in battle and his teachings of Wiks. With a sense of duty Broxs felt obligated to take over Wiks' position and took the first space flight he could find to the Citadel...

The Setting
It has finally happen, human civilization has finally started its greatest decline in its history. The world is plagued with overpopulation, hunger, joblessness, poverty and almost everything other problem you can have because the whole world just doesn't give a fuck and everyone forgot to listen to the nerdy looking guys with glasses and clip boards claiming to be scientist. The world is so screwed up that you might as well just drop a big fucking nuke on it and just end the story there but there is a lot of work to coordinate the world's biggest and finest mass suicide. And just before you think the order was about to be given, someone had a better plan.

As the first 5 nukes went off a new political group seized power in the mass fear and ended the self nuclear explosions. A sense of hope went washed over the citizens of the world as they were told that they were heading for a better age, an age of recovery. Joyful the people threw celebrations, helped each other out and became more friendlier towards everyone. They were going to survive. That lasted 3 months, things started going back to the way they were and the same problems were starting to arise. So announced was Order 1019 and the creation of the world organization, Murder and Company or MaC for short, which legally allowed to kill people known as Undesirable.

The Undesirable; the druggies, the criminals, the prostitutes, the cripples, the sick, the insane, the mentally ill and pretty much anybody who held the world back. This forced society to work with little incentive short of being killed and well, attempted to control the mass population society.

Now MaC operates probably a bit more differently than you would think. The building, a six story office building filled to the roof with workers all working frantically, is very plain and nondescript. The interior; filled with cubicles, offices and always ringing telephones, is a bit like your typical office. And the work; answering phones, filling out reports, attending company meets, enjoying coffee breaks, being sociable with co-workers, pretending to be sociable with co-workers you hate, playing solitaire, eating cake and fighting for the next promotion; mundane except...oh yeah, they kill people. It is a 9-5 with a deadly twist!...

Where do you fit in?
A video screen jumps from static to a black screen "Hello future killers! Connecting you to the CEO and Founder of MaC, Ronald Belinsky!" the black screen begins to fade away and into an image.

The background is bustling with workers who are transferring folders to different cubicles from their own and others diving into theirs to answering the phone. In the far right corner are three guys, dress in appropriate business attire; a shirt, tie and dress pants; exchanging laughs and jokes over coffee. In the mid-background is a man who is by the cooler filling a cup as a woman walks by and asks about his day. And in the middle walks a distinguish tall figure; dressed in black dress shoes and a sharp grey suit, open so that it would expose his matching vest and the baby blue dress shirt with a navy blue and white pinstripe tie, his hair blonde and slicked back and his facial features strong and chiseled. He looks like he is mid-thirties but he is actually early-forties and his walk is strong and confident, his left hand loosely in his pocket. The man walks till he is in a medium close-up and he stares forward with a friendly smile.

The man rises his right hand and faces his palm up, "Ever since the dawn of men, the world needed killers." He moves his right hand in small wave like motions as he talks in a strong American accent, "Vicious, strong and hard emotional people. For every Abel there was a Cain. We use to hate these people... these murderers and rightfully so. These men were unorganized, undisciplined and a bane to society. These men had no meaning to our old society but that all changed. Thanks to Order 1019, this energy and emotion can be put to great use. The members here at MaC are dedicated to making this world a better place for every Undesirable gone, ten survivors flourish. A fact that is one of the many supports that this company was founded upon. Now we're looking towards a future, because we have a future and that future includes you!" The man balls up his hand into a tight fist and points forward. The angle goes low and slowly forward towards the man, the pointing finger following, "This is our day and age ladies and gentlemen. It is time for us to take it! It is time..." The angle stops with a visible red banner just above the man that held the words the man was just about to say and the man takes out his left hand and extends both arms, "Kill today for a better tomorrow!" He slowly lets his hands drop as the image fades out and in fades the six story white business building. With the words "Join Today!" across the screen.

A little about me

Hello, I like to thank you for welcoming me to the site in advance. So a little about me, I'm 21 years old and I graduated from a small college. By trade I am a freelance cinematographer and occasionally I write a few scripts that I give out to directors and in turn I shoot their movies. That being said a disclaimer I feel is needed, I don't write about stories that I participate online nor do I really take request all that often. I usually come onto role playing sites so that I can get into a writing mood, nothing preps you to write than to write. The biggest reason is because I usually work with small budget films and usually most role plays would need bigger budgets than what I work with. I'll also might have to drop out of role plays on short time notice because of work (the film business is chaotic) so I hope the community is tolerant of that. I guess the last thing is, I love to role play and make ideas. I tend to write out a world and story and then pass it onto another person who takes charge of the events (kind of like a game master I suppose) and just play in the world in it. I also tend to play both male and females, whatever the story calls for and whatever mood I'm in. None of the relationship higher than a friend status on these things are real to me and I would like to keep all that story-based for either sex.

I also can't decided what to change my avatar to so if anyone has any ideas I'm up to suggestions.
