Khan is right, when you're dealing with super-humans its incredibly difficult to bring them down with a gun. Think about how many super-heroes/villains are killed by pistols. And honestly ASTA, you've already been asked to leave if you have a problem numerous times, that argument isn't going to have anyone jumping out of their seats to meet your requirements. I don't know what RP's you've been in where the GM has to have some kind of argument for why you can't have a character you've decided on in -THEIR- RP, but I'd honestly love to see you try and drag someone's 'name through the dirt' as you suggest, that would be downright hilarious.

It was more like it was recommend that I make an exit, which was fine, considering it was clear that I was rather distraught with the current workings of the RP. In the end, I decided to stick around because those few bumps seemed like minor inconveniences when the quest for fun and enjoyment was considered.

I'm not expecting an argument, I just want a concrete reason as to why "X" and "Y" aren't allowed but "Z" is, as well as a chance to actually partake in the roleplay and have the fight monitored by a judge. At the moment, it's just baseless assumptions and fearful predictions based on the actions of a bunch of random people I've never seen nor heard of. =/

I learned along time ago that range combat/weapons are almost pointless in an arena setting. It's much harder to trap a person with on, unless it's near absurdly unavoidable in the first place. I have pretty much never seen a range weapon hit, let alone kill someone.

That's rather odd, actually.

Just stop or I will deny it outright and be done with this. I could careless what you think about how I base my decisions, I don't need to give you a reason, and you can walk away and I won't be miffed or bothered by it.

I take it you didn't read the part regarding the dick-waving and tyrant-like behavior, then.

If the worm hole is comparable to an energy shield why not just have an energy shield. Removing the potential for dimension/wormholefuckery and keeping the GM happy, which is in everyone's best interest.

Same reason why we have people using swords and not firearms. I personally distaste melee weapons, for they force you to put yourself in unnecessary danger whereas a [theoretically] stronger and much safer alternative--this alternative being the gun--offers the user the same capacity to end life and/or protect themselves. However, I care not why other people use swords and spears and what-have-you, but as outlined by the RP's rules and regulations, they are analogous to firearms in terms of damage, reliability and effectiveness, putting sword-users on equal footing with firearm users.

In terms of satisfying a GM's happiness---that isn't in my book. If a GM comes forth with a logical argument and infallible proof or evidence, I have no choice but to take the knee and probably learn a thing or two in the process. If a GM chooses to wave his or her internet peen around, this will only cause me to quit their thread and drag their name through the mud as I come into contact with people in my roleplayer travels across multiple forums or threads. I don't hand out candies and sweets out of fear of an unknown internet person's wrath.

I respect people that are reasonable and who are open to discussion, not tyrants. Real-life situations are a bit different, since this mentality wouldn't get me far in a job, but this isn't my job now is it?

Like I said I will discuss with Rilla. What ever we decide is final.

That's fine, but I hope you have examples and reasons handy, which hopefully can be shared here or in a PM. For now, it looks like you're basing your worries off of past experiences without even knowing how I'll be using BoT in your MV or my roleplaying style in general. Judging a book by its cover and all of that jazz, I guess.

I'll take: 'Things that are going to erupt into an argument.' For 500 Alex.

Naturally.
The same argument can be said for someone with a hardboner for magic, in which they throw up a hefty douse of "Clap your hands if you believe" logic and argue that their magical dragon god used its divine powers to protect them from the ravaging effects of a 40mm autocannon round.

The same argument can be said for literally any defense-based tactic or ability employed by every character in this RP. A wormhole, by how I've defined it in Beowulf of Trinity's CS, is pretty much an analog to an energy shield, in which very clear limits have been established to prevent its abuse. There are more ways to abuse wormholes than simply using them as a means of escape, which I have taken the liberty of keeping out of my sheet due to the respect I have for the rules written by you and for the respect I have for the people that are taking part in this roleplay.

blasphemy! ESO is fantastic. I've been...... completely addicted since early access started. It's amazing.

Market is already full of MMOs.

Plus, long live singleplayer.

Which character here in the MV can cause all life on a planet to die in a single attack?I need to consider the use of worms holes because as I said the prospect for abuse is great. I will need to discuss it with Rilla..

(High) Seidhr Generation- The adept has full control of the energies of the electromagnetic spectrum, generating its various energy fields at will. The induction of energy at this level of mastery is incredible, adepts are like living stars, able to create explosions powerful enough to devastate a planet via scalar wave discharges of energy. Their mastery also allows them to focus on individual particles or waves of energy. An adept at this level can affect a planet or planetary system with their power. With time the atmosphere of a planet can be sucked away or can be ignited to burn everything a chaotic gaseous explosion.

Not exactly 'all life' level, but pulling that off basically amounts to someone flinging a hefty asteroid at a planet.

Further considering all of the other secondary abilities wielded by many of the other characters in this RP only further makes me question why creating two-way portals is a serious issue in terms of balance and overall fairness.
I'd take it back in time to stop the green-lighting of the TES:O game, therefore concentrating Bethesda's time on more worthwhile projects like Fallout 4 and the sixth installment of the TES series.
Mahz, your forum is the sux.

Yeah, the Armor (as portrayed in the game) is a contradiction in and of itself. It's STATED that one man in this armor can clear out an entire city. But a good it from a shotgun can blow your arm clean off while you're wearing it in game.So how does this one individual achieve total annihilation of a city?

My guess? Using the Fallout universe's mastery of the nuclear bomb, which amounts to giving one guy an experimental MIRV (or a Fat Man) and have him fling mini-nukes into a populated area. The guy in the suit isn't really a power house, but his armor allows him to wield weapons that are two heavy to be deployed by conventional means.

Or, at least that's my bullshit reason.

Which makes no sense.
