Yeah, but being permed for dicking around in a thread is relatively unheard of.

It makes me seriously question the integrity of this site's moderator team and administrator team.

As a person who inherently distrusts moderators and administrators on the internet (or any person in a position of authority for that matter), this really puts me off.

Mostly because hacking confers you're taking direct control of a piece of machinery. I consider that mech more of an extension of the character itself, not a piece of equipment like a pistol or a sword. Additionally, even if said software does prevent the hacking from taking place, how long can the owner of that character do that before someone starts crying that their powers aren't working as they detailed in their CS?
