Things got somewhat busy here unexpectedly. I'm working on the IC and should have it up in relatively short order, but I have things to do tomorrow, and for now have to go to bed. >.>
I never implied there was. I implied that there may be some inconsistency with what I write and what they wrote. =P
I am going to borrow a setting I'm not actively taking part of in my first post, because frankly, I think it's amusing for a character who calls himself "Icarus" on internet forums to wake up on a "Daedalus" class ship.
You know... I think that I liked the solid purple I had more, but I'm just like that. =P
Name: Alexander "Sandy" Bridge, Username: Icarus
Age: 22
Appearance: Tall and slim, Sandy's face is usually unkempt, a beard half grown due to the fact that he's simply too lazy to shave. Thick glasses obscure his clear blue eyes, while a mop of dishevelled brown hair - which, unlike his beard, he likes to keep short to keep from obscuring his vision - to complete the semi-lazed façade. Lately his face has taken on a sullen demeanour after having come to the realization that his creations can be (and have been!) lethal.
Personality/History: Somewhat introverted, Sandy mostly keeps to himself, though he has a few close friends. He's the kind of person who looks at the world as though it's a puzzle to be solved, And though this makes him seem distant and somewhat arrogant, he's also fairly knowledgeable and trustworthy for it. While he did fairly well in school, he just can't bring himself to seek higher education, or even a better job than what he's got. He had no idea what he was getting into when he clicked that link, but in the say - in his perspective - that's passed, he's seen someone die at what was effectively his own hand, and briefly encountered what was apparently the madman that brought them here.
Roleplaying Preferences: He prefers Science Fiction, or more grounded fantasy settings, but he won't turn away from a good mystery or horror setting. He feels confident in his ability to tell a story, but not so confident on the consistency of his posts, which is why he stays in Casual rather than trying his hand in Advanced.
Other: While he lived alone in a small apartment, he knows that if he went missing there would be people looking for him, but he has no way of knowing how long it's actually been...

Mentioned more than discussed, =P Still, the CS feels more solid now, just going to see what Mina comes up with before I get started working on the IC.
I can probably only take one or two more before the party size seems ridiculous for the purpose of the project. If you hurry, Mina, you might get a spot. =P Although the post spam certainly doesn't help your cause...
Demensia: While the character concept in and of itself is pretty cool, he's lacking something for motivation. Why did he volunteer for this program? A chance to return to action after sustaining an injury perhaps, à la Manta's Gift?
Shoryu: While I can guess where he's from from the "service record," I'll ask that you specify which military in the "outfit and rank section." Also, you failed to earn your bonus points for the "Other" section, though that was optional to begin with. You're pretty much good to go.

They're still technically reptiles. Hair/fur is right out. However, while Feathers would be possible on Earth, one has to remember that this race didn't evolve on Earth, and so has taken a very different evolutionary path. So nix the feathers.
