Connor bit the inside of his cheek in contemplation, staring at his feet so as to avoid eye contact, while he mulled over the situation. The girl had been quick to accept, which he felt was rash but understandable, if the voices over the monitor told you to do something, you did it.

"Trust you? No, but it's enough for me to work with you until this over." He replied with a stern gaze, interested to see how he would take his reply, it was blatant, but honest and he felt honesty was the right approach to eventually building trust.

"I'm Connor by the way." He added with a small bow of the head, holding out a hand in greeting, no need to be completely brazen with his manners.
That's if I could, not doubt Chris would hear it coming and make a fool of Connor.
Playing it safe for now :D
Connor stared down at his hands, making a mental effort to put the slight tremble at ease. His eyes quickly flickered back to the new arrival, attempting to meet his gaze only to find the stranger was merely looking in his direction, seemingly disconnected from the visual aspects of conversation. That, coupled with the walking cane he carried, led him to believe the man was blind.

"You see an awful lot for a blind man, either you're faking or..." Connor bit down on his cheek, cutting off the rest of what he was going to say, his face turning to one of careful consideration, studying the stranger like one might study a poisonous snake.

Connor was contemplating snatching the cane from him, when he was snapped out of his thoughts by the offhand question issued by the one who had followed behind, a pity really, he might of done a lot of damage to the riders that were mentioned, that is if he could lay his hands on one. Which was odd that he had mentioned them, a usually invisible force which this man could somehow sense, further confirming his suspicion of all the occupants in the room.

Frowning to himself he replied "No, I'm just a bit... nervous is all." Shaking his head slightly at the discomfort he was feeling being surrounded by so many strangers.

A sinking feeling came over Connor as the girl approached him, forcing him to rise carefully from his corner, so as to not look weak and frightened, although the latter was most certainly in effect. He was careful to keep his hands at his sides and continue to look passive, as the panic in this girls eyes now burned brighter than the red in her hair. A barrage of questions and statements rained down on him, half of which he could not answer, and he couldn't help but feel sorry for the poor soul, but also more weary. She hadn't taken this medication that she deemed so important and seemed to be worrying over the implications it would bring about, perhaps she sought comfort of some sort, he just really wished it hadn't been him she came to.

"Hey, you'll be alright, I'm Connor." He said in soothing tones, managing a half smile before regaining his look of concern.

Gingerly he held out his hands to hold her by the shoulders in a reassuring way. "You just need to relax until we find a guard, and then we can sought out getting your medication, hm?" He suggested, trying to appear confident, although he found it hard to stop his hands from shaking ever so slightly. "Just take some deep breaths." He added, returning his hands to his sides, it had been a common tactic for dealing with his issues when they became to much to bear, he imagined it would do the same for her.
Many apologies, but I'm afraid I'll have to drop this guys.
Slowly the gravity of the situation became apparent to Connor as he sunk to the floor in his corner, his back sliding down the wall until he came to a gentle stop, he was in alone in a room with other patients, ones with actual problems. How many of these people are dangerous. He thought, sullenly clasping his hands in front of himself, he didn't look forward to being hurt and inevitably hurting others, but time had made him accustomed to both.

"You have 1 hour, Project #456. This is your organiser speaking. You should know my name only as Darwin. Comply, make your teams, but whatever you do, DO NOT attack each other, or you will be forcedly removed. Do not try and override. This is standard precautionary."

Connor tensed up as the announcement came over the P.A. system, his brow knitted in a frown, as he mulled over the words. Teaming up with these people was not something he necessarily wanted to do, who knew when one would snap or melt down into an unintelligible mess, and he really didn't need the problems of someone else weighing him down in a place like this.

Bringing in his knees close to his chest he continued to watch from his corner of the room, staring intently at the others through a curtain of unkempt hair, hoping to god he went unnoticed by these people. Yet no such luck was with him as his eyes met with a red haired girl, who looked to be in distress, holding her gaze in fear of what would happen were he to look away.
*phew* Welp, got my introductory post down, might be a little more observant as things unfold.
The blood trailed down from his neck, splattering the face beneath him, blank eyes staring up into his from a young face, a pretty face.

"I-I'm so sorry..." He muttered, his body shaking from the shock.

Shadowy figures swept in from all sides, silently standing, watching, judging. "I d-didn't mean to." He hastily explained, tears blurring his vision as the figures stepped closer. "You have to believe me." He insisted.

Disapproval emitted from them as they drew nearer, claw like hands reached out menacingly, come to pull him apart again.

"Please, you can't do this. Please!" He screamed, begging for the figures to stop, the dead girl at his knees so easily forgotten at the remembrance of the pain. Had the figures faces, Connor would of been sure they were smiling, as fingers coiled around his arm like snakes. Slowly growing tighter and tighter, pulling, pinching and stabbing til it became to much to bear. "PLEEEEEASE!" He roared in agony as they clawed out his eyes and reached down his throat, suffocating him til the world went black.

*Ka-chunk* The door to his cell opened as Connor flinched awake, sat tightly in the corner with his muzzle and straight jacket, tired eyes staring out at the guards who had come to take him. Slowly he rose, clearly too slow as the guards yanked him to his feet and pushed him out of his cell, obtaining a grunt in reply from him. His heart beat faster as they came up to the room where they usually did their experiments, pacifically he slowed down, bowing his head while he waited for the guards to open the door. "Keep moving." One of them said with a quick shove, his eyes quickly moving away from Connors own as they frantically darted between the two guards, seeking an answer.

"Where?" He asked, stopping briefly in front of them, before being shoved down a hallway to their left, ignored by them as he realised he had only given off a muffled grunt.

Eventually they came to a stop at a room he had never been to before, the guards quickly stepped to either side of him, fingers removing locks and hasps on his muzzle and straight jacket. What? What the hell are they doing, they never trust me like this.... unless 'they' are here. He thought in shock as the restraints on his jacket and muzzle came loose, taking in his first unrestricted breath in a long time, rotating his shoulders gently while they opened the door. The room was filled with others, and his heart skipped a beat as he thought of the worst, followed by a quick flood of relief when he realized they were dressed like him, hesitantly he stepped into the room, his eyes flickering from occupant to occupant til he found an empty corner to stand in, as a few others had.
Dear god I have a lot to catch up with D:
Thank god we have some one with infrared vision to see when those invisible people are around, so we may plot in peace.
