Godmoding got its name from characters who are given a "godlike" status (so auto-dodging, yeah), but really, any time that you basically write out someone else's reaction to something your character is doing, it's godmoding. That can be as simple as saying "They frowned at my display", so it pertains to more than just fighting.

Though honestly I've never had an issue with godmoding on the guild, but I might have just been lucky.
Hey, I'll be adding to the heaps of interest thrown this thread's way. I've got a few old characters in mind.
Scouts - The Pub - Alex

Jamie had his face buried in his hands when Alex and Chris entered the kitchen. Hazel ran back and forth throughout, looking more busy then the few items on the stove would suggest. She sighed multiple times to herself, perhaps frazzled by the storm and all her sudden guests. When the scouts began speaking, she stood by the stove and tried not to appear too interested in what they were saying.

Jamie lifted his head slightly, one eye peering from over his hands to look at Alex and acknowledge that he was listening. When Alex finished, Jamie shook his head. "I don't know. It was where we all separated. We didn't get far before something almost ran over us. I don't know what it was, I guess the wind chucked it through the air, but it--"

"That's not important, Chris said impatiently. "When did you split up?"

Jamie looked up and glared, but he meekly looked down at the table when he remembered he was the problem here. "I... got hit or something. I kept moving, but I-I was disoriented. When I realised I was alone, Rudy... Rudy was gone." He let that sit for a moment and silence stretched out between them. The kettle on the stove began to whistle and Hazel hastily grabbed at it.

"Anyone want tea?" she asked. Her voice sounded shaky.

Chris almost laughed. "I think Jamie needs some." Jamie nodded his head in agreement and Hazel worked quickly to pour him a cup.

"I don't think Rudy could have gone far. He didn't... have a car like we did, after all." Jamie paused to blow at his steaming cup. "We have to find or, or... I'll feel awful."

He'd be feeling very awful, Chris thought. Once Enrique got a hold of him, anyway. "I have to agree," Chris said, turning to Alex. "He's probably holding out in one of the houses around there. A sturdy one."
Shannon - New Orleans - Danny

They'd managed to barricade the doors and windows on the first floor with furniture. It seemed this space had been used as a dentist's office before it was abandoned. There had been a waiting room for them to take from and a kitchen with large appliances. Of the dentistry equipment, neither Shannon or Danny had much idea what was useful and what was not. Danny packed away most of it anyway, saying that someone in Outpost could probably make use of it. There wasn't much food around, which had become far more important now that they were simply waiting for the storm to end. They sat in the waiting room-- now bare from their barricading-- and did what people had always done in waiting rooms by waiting away the minutes. They didn't know what to say to each other, which reminded Shannon of that day back in Haywood. In all her life, she had never thought her friendship with Danny would degrade into this awkward mess.

"So, who's the kid?" Danny eventually asked, almost making Shannon jump. She had been so lost in her thoughts that Danny's voice felt like a heavy drum in her ears. She turned to blink at him before she could interpret his question. James, who had been clinging to her for some time, finally spoke up. "I'm James," he said, practically scowling at Danny. Danny scowled back, an expression she remembered seeing often from him. "And I'm not really a kid. I'll be fifteen soon."

Danny laughed. "Great. Sorry, you're still a kid, kid."

James moved slightly to get out of Shannon's grip, but she held tightly on to his arms in retaliation. She wasn't sure why he was acting up all of a sudden. Perhaps everything was finally getting to him. "We've been taking care of each other," she said smoothly. "We've been together for a while now." Well, when she thought about it, a month or two nowadays felt almost like years. "You didn't meet him back in Haywood because things were so busy, but... he was there."

Danny's expression softened as he listened. He stared at James, who relaxed as well. They both only cared if she spoke, she realised. How very male of them. "You said you were on a supply run or something?" she asked, hoping to get Danny talking.

He nodded and took his sweet time responding. He eventually leaned his head back against the wall and said, "A routine supply run. They tend to go badly lately because everyone is on edge now. The old guys don't like working with the new guys, the new guys are afraid of Enrique, blah blah blah, some dumb sh--" He paused and looked at Shannon. She shook his head, knowing he was asking if he could swear or not around James.

"People are scared of Enrique?" James asked, unaware of the silent moment between them. "He was nice to me. He gave me chocolate."

"Yes, but he also killed a few people," Shannon said. "People are complicated sometimes, James."

"Er, wait..." Danny ran a hand through his dark hair. "You two have met him before?"

Shannon nodded. "It was a while ago... Before we even got to Haywood. He broke into...a garage a friend of ours owned." Daniel. "We didn't trust him much, so we had to leave him behind. When we ended up in Haywood, there was a group getting ready to attack Tyler's group, and I heard Enrique ran into them. They all thought he died during the fighting."

Danny nodded slowly, as if he was thinking on a tough subject. "So he went to attack Tyler, but ended up on his side. Hm..." He shook his head. "You really only ended in Haywood recently? Have you been wandering around for months?"

He said it Shannon, but James responded. "The longest I've been with anyone has been with Shannon." Then he went quiet. "... She was there when I... my parents..."

Shannon pulled him closer and he sniffled. "We saw James' parents, but they were already gone."

Danny nodded. He let out a deep breath and closed his eyes. "I... miss mom and dad," he said.

He was talking about her mom and dad, she knew. Danny had hated his parents, but hers had always treated him like he was their own. He'd started calling them mom and dad long before the apocalypse came. Thinking about them was the last thing Shannon desired to do. She supposed she'd never find out what happened to them, even if she miraculously found herself back in NYC. She felt like crying with James all of a sudden, but she fought the urge. Instead, she only looked down, choosing to not respond to Danny. After a moment, he got the hint and turned away from them, allowing silence to take over once more.
Tyler - Baton Rouge - Liam/Katie/Jacob/George

Tyler stared at Liam, trying to work out what they were going to do with him. Tyler had no interest in taking care of other kids. "The cat's sick," Tyler said bluntly. "So don't touch him." He looked down at Katie. "... Unless Katie says so." Then he left his little girl's side to offer Liam a hand up, but the boy got up on his own. Tyler stared him down nonetheless. "What the adults say, you do. If you understand that then you can come with us."

With that out of the way, Tyler introduced Liam to everyone and got George to start getting the supplies ready. They had set aside only a fraction of it all for the three of them, but with the addition of two more people they could carry over half of what was there. "This won't last us long, so we're going to need to find a supermarket of some kind anyway." He handed Jacob a backpack. Tyler still wanted to ask about the cell phone but they had wasted a lot of time running into each other. "First stop's the motel, so you lead the way, Jacob."

At the front door, Tyler pulled Jacob and George aside. "I don't know how well you two carry yourselves in a fight, but the children are our priority, got that?" Tyler avoided the urge to say Katie specifically. He then walked over to the kids and took Katie's hand. "Everyone keep calm and stick together. We're smarter than anything else out there."
Scouts - The Pub - Alex

Chris grunted and swore as they carried the man through the parking lot. He occasionally shook his head wildly in order to get the rain out of his eyes and mouth. When they were inside with the door closed behind them, Chris let out a heavy sigh. "Hell. Once Enrique hears about this, I doubt they'll let Jamie on these supply runs ever again."

The pair got to the end of the hall where the kitchen was. Hazel and Cody were waiting for them. "Here, here," the girl said, passing a room key to Alex. Her voice was exasperated and almost sounded out of breath. "It's the room behind the stairwell. Another man is in the next room over. He's sick, so try and not disturb him." Chris peered behind the pair into the kitchen, where Jamie was sitting at table and nursing his head. "Oh! And--" Hazel hopped back into the kitchen momentarily and returned with a pair of towels. "For the bleeding," she said. Chris nodded and tucked them under his arm.

They got the man into the room and hovered over the bed with him. Chris had the man's torso so he gently laid the man down first. He paused to throw one of the towels over the pillow and softly let the man's head rest on top of it. When both scouts had finished, Chris shook his head and ran a hand through his short brown hair. "Thanks, man. You and Cody... you kept your cool." He smiled at Alex, despite the situation. Chris was just happy most of them made it to safety.

Thunder rocked the hotel and Cody let out a nervous sigh at the door, revealing his presence. "Hey," he said, moving to look over the unconscious man. "I'll look him over and see what I can do. Hopefully he'll live long enough so that I can actually do something..." As Chris moved to leave, Cody waved him to stop. "Once the storm dies down, you guys will need to look for Rudy. I don't know how long I'll need to monitor this guy, so..."
Scouts - New Orleans/The Pub - Alex

Chris gingerly followed Alex from his side of the car, leaving Cody and Jamie to stew anxiously inside. A large gust threatened to blow Chris off his feet, but he managed to plant himself to the ground with just a steady hand placed on the car. Chris was a heavyset man and had been often said to have more muscles than brains, but he believed that had worked out for him with the world the way it was now. He raised his free hand to shield his eyes from the rain and stepped up to the body as Alex rolled it over. The sight that greeted them was no doubt a living man, or at least a living man up until he was recently run over. His long brown hair was slick with rain and blood. Chris' eyes met Alex's before looking toward the biters coming their way.

"Get back inside! I got 'im!" Chris leaned down and shakily placed a hand to the man's neck. He was no expert in checking for a pulse and it wasn't so easy a procedure with a storm battering away at him, at least in Chris' opinion. In a moment, Chris determined that he could feel a pulse, so he quickly shouldered his rifle and scooped the man into his arms. The man was light and barely weighed anything at all, indicating to Chris that the man probably hadn't been very healthy before they ran into him. With a few grunts and curses, Chris got the car door open in and managed to sit down with the man on top of him. The dead managed to reach the trunk of the car by the time the man was set up between Chris and Alex, but with some panicked urging from Jamie, Cody stepped on the gas and moved them forward.

Jamie muttered in the front seat about grabbing the man being a really stupid idea, but both Cody and Chris managed to ignore his mumbling. Looking the man over, Chris wasn't sure if he had broken any bones or not. Surely this was the improper way of transporting someone with possible broken limbs, but there was nothing else they could do. Chris grimaced as the man's blood seeped into the car upholstery. "Alex, hold on to him and keep him steady. I'll get his head level." It was a little freaky, but Chris managed to grab the man's head and kept it staring straight ahead.

The car finally pulled into the hotel and Jamie let out a cheer. Cody turned around Chris and Alex, giving the man between them a grimace. "Both of you get him inside," he said, opening the car door. "I'll go warn Hazel she's got company." He stepped out of the vehicle and motioned for Jamie to do so as well, who was more than happy to oblige. The pair crouched low and charged for the front door, causing Chris to sigh.

"Come to my side," he muttered, before opening his door and carefully pulling the unconscious man with him. Chris tried to keep the man sitting and level, but it was rather difficult in the confines of the car. After what felt like ages, Chris had the man half outside the car and in his arms. "Hurry!" he yelled, unsure if the biters were still on them.
Tyler - Baton Rouge/Bingo Hall - Katie/George/Jacob/Liam

He watched as his little girl reached out for him, one of her arms still holding the kitten close to her chest. "Please Daddy, I don't want any more dying," she said, tears in her eyes. Tyler felt as if had taken a blow to the gut. He hadn't wanted Katie to get her hopes up, but it suddenly occurred to him how deeply unfair that was. He scooped Katie into his arms, careful to mind the cat between them. He closed his eyes as he held her, her soft crying and tiny movements causing him to choke up. He thought of Katie's mother, what she would do in this situation. She... probably would not have advocated keeping the cat either, not in this situation. If Katie had brought home a stray cat in the days before, when she was still alive, then she would have--

No, that didn't matter. She was gone. Their family was gone. Katie had nothing left but Tyler, and all he did was screw things up for her. How could he possibly allow her hopes to be squashed yet again? "You... You can keep the cat, but we need to be careful with it." He let go of Katie to turn to the guy they had just met. He mentioned his name was Jacob. Tyler introduced himself, Katie, and George. He was going to ask about where they could get an oral syringe when another individual crashed the party. He knocked into Tyler, sending Tyler spinning around, a gun appearing in his hands out of instinct. His eyes went wide as he stared down this intruder, who appeared to be a kid frightened out of his mind. Tyler sighed and lowered his weapon as the boy begged them not to shoot him.

Tyler took a step toward Katie and put an arm around her. It was certainly coincidental that they all found themselves here in this moment, but Tyler was used to coincidences within his life. In hindsight, most of them turned out to be bad, unfortunately. "Jacob," he said, keeping one eye on the kid. "Any idea where we could get supplies? Or even a place we can stay that's not here. It's run down and not fit for all of us." He began to address the boy by pointing at the knife in his hands. "Put that down and tell us your name. What are you doing here?"
I finally posted. I've been sick (but also admittedly lazy).

@Roran Hawkins, you've mixed up Chris' name with Charlie, just so you know, haha.
Scouts - New Orleans - Alex

Jamie was leaning forward, his face buried in his hands. He didn't respond no matter how many times Chris or Alex asked where Danny was. He simply groaned and rubbed at his face. He looked too frustrated to speak, so Cody leant over the back of his seat to speak with the others more directly. "Glad you're alive," he said. Chris then took the opportunity to lash out against the seat, prompting Cody to follow Alex's gaze outside, toward the line of biters coming toward them. "We can wait a bit longer, then we--"

Jamie spoke up now, one hand grabbing for Cody's arm. "We can't! Two out of three is better than none!" Cody resisted the urge to punch Jamie over that. He did have a point, unfortunately. Waiting any longer would be a foolish and deadly risk.

Before Jamie could squeeze his arm any tight, Cody grunted and pulled his arm away. "Okay! Okay!" He set the car in drive and moved it forward, though it took a moment to move forward with the heavy amount of rainwater coating the road. The sound of the tires squealing was drowned out by the incessant thunder. Jamie reached forward and took hold of the dashboard as Cody tried to maneuver the car into a turn. "We'll drive around a bit and try to spot Rudy. Then we'll head for The Pub and wait this-" He began to lose control of the car. Cody cried out wordlessly and tried to even out, but the vehicle went off the road and came to a stop in an abandoned front yard. Everyone in the car breathed heavily while Cody reversed the car back on to the road.

"This is insane," Chris said. "We can't drive around in this. You have head for the hotel right now."

Jamie nodded dumbly. "He's right. Come the fuck on, man."

Cody stared straight ahead, annoyed. He wanted to argue, but all that would do was make everyone scared. Without responding, Cody proceeded to drive back on to Cleveland Avenue and head in the direction of Hazel's hotel. Though it was only a few minutes away, Cody was forced to drive agonizingly slow to avoid wiping out in the storm. Chris asked Jamie if his head was doing okay, probably to cut the tension inside the car. It might have worked, if Jamie had responded instead of staring blankly out the window. He let out something between a whimper and a yell when a new group of biters came into view. They were amassed in the middle of the road in the direction Cody had to go. "I'll go through slowly," he said. "We should be fine if we keep moving."

He turned into the crowd, lightly bumping a few biters so that he could push through. Some of them lashed out and banged on the car, though Cody continued at his slow pace. A larger one managed to hit Jamie's car window hard enough to crack the glass. It was amazing to Cody how strong the monsters could be when uninhibited. Jamie freaked out as a result and pushed away from the car door, his body slamming into Cody. Cody swore as a response, prompting Jamie to wildly reach down with his foot to get at the gas pedal. "Go! Go faster!" Jamie managed to press it down, sending the car racing forward. They quickly cleared the group of biters but Cody was forced to wildly spin the wheel in order to make a turn.

"Jamie, stop!" Chris yelled, pulling Jamie away from Cody's side of the car. Cody quickly pumped the brakes, but still the car went flying around the corner, smashing into a post office box along the way. When Cody finally got the car straighten out, he spotted a person a few feet away from the front of the car. Everyone in the car cried out as Cody ran the person over, their body slamming into the windshield and falling back on to the road. Cody had managed to stop the car, his eyes staring straight ahead. "Jesus Christ," Chris whispered. "That was a person."

Cody looked over his seat, eyeing Chris and Alex. "Are we sure?" he asked. "We-We don't have time to stop."

Chris glared at Jamie before turning to Alex. "Come on, that was a person, right? We can't leave him like that, especially not in this."
Myriah - Outpost - Sylar

She let out a shaky breath, still frazzled by her talk with Enrique. She stared at Sylar, her eyes wide open at his news. "That- That is awful. You did the right thing to come back." She brought a hand to her face and sighed. Alan. Another casualty. Another name to add to the list. "What about... Is everyone else all right? Rudy? Chris? Alex?" Her head was spinning, unable to take any more bad news. When had her life become so anxious? It was weird, but she fondly a remembered a time in the apocalypse when she was happy. She'd lost all her old friends to the disease, but she had made new ones. She and her new friends had even managed to found a community-- a community she once thought was beautiful.

"Sylar, I don't think--" She stopped herself. She wasn't sure she wanted to get into this right now. Instead, she repeated her earlier question. "Just, tell me the rest are okay."
Tyler - Baton Rouge/Bingo Hall - Katie/Jacob/George

He helped the boy to his feet, though he was unable to answer Tyler's question. He was probably shy, Tyler imagined. He looked around himself to find that Katie hadn't followed him inside, so he asked the boy to follow him into the bingo hall. There he found Katie hiding under a table, looking absolutely frightened. God, he'd been an idiot again, hadn't he? Instead of lecturing her, Tyler only waited, his eyes watching the weak kitten in Katie's arms. When she finally spoke, Tyler let out a heavy sigh. "Katie, I'm not an expert on cats, but before everything went bad, we couldn't take in stray cats then either. Do you know why?" He waited for her to answer before continuing. "Look, the cat could be sick. It would normally need shots so that it can be healthy and so that it's safe for us to take care of. I mean, it's never been owned by a person before, so it might not even want to be with us."

He stared at the cat, realising it probably wasn't going to leave Katie's side if she'd already fed it. Besides, it looked too weak to go very far. "It's not like a dog. You'll have to carry it everywhere we go. You could let it try and find us if we had to move, but chances are that it won't. Imagine if something bad happened and you scared it. You could be holding it and it could lash out at you." He knew he was hurting Katie to say this, but it had to be said. Knowing her, she probably wouldn't care what he thought, no matter how many good points he brought up. She was still just a little girl, after all. "Katie... it's not likely to survive, no matter if we take it with us or not." And that was the harsh reality, one that Tyler would rather not put Katie though.

"So please understand where I'm coming from. I don't want you to get your hopes up. I don't want you to..." He didn't want to say it, but he had to. "... Get attached."

None of Outpost is in the damn poster, and yeah I am ticked about Enrique not being in it at least in some kind of extremely minute and obscure cameo way, I don't know an axe or some shit. I'm just insanely annoyed at this, QT I still love you man and everyone here but damn 3rd season and still nothing for the guy who has more kills than anyone else and is the only Latino.

I think the poster is looking a little crowded, to be fair.

Which is why I've made a tribute to our unsung heroes:
