So, after trying for a few days, I've found Chatzy impossible to log into for whatever reason. I suppose that's kind of an issue...

This might be a good excuse to maybe try and do a roll call of sorts to see who's still kicking around, as we've been dead lately.
Monica - Dilapidated House - Emma/Ellis

The supply run was an uneventful one, Monica and Emma having managed to get enough to last the three of them another week. Monica lugged the heavy backpack through the front door, thanking her lucky stars that the group in power in this area did a good deal of work in clearing the biters in the area. They would likely have to change their location soon enough to continue avoiding detection, but hopefully they'd be out of this godforsaken city soon enough.

Monica placed the supplies on the table, digging through the backpack so that she could sort through the items. "Ellis, we're back," she said, not having to yell for him to hear her in this house. She didn't need him coming at them with a knife thinking they were intruders.

Tremblay - Plaza Rally

The man stood before his people, watching as their eyes slowly lowered to the ground. None of them wanted to look him in the face. None of them wanted to let him know how they felt. Tremblay was well aware how they felt-- He'd made a major miscalculation. "Fine," he muttered. He turned to Jon and waved him off. "Then this man lives. Get him out of here, Jon, and get him cleaned up." Tremblay turned back to the crowd, his eyes locking on Jessalyn's once again. He gave her a flat look of disappointment. "He can deny the allegations all he pleases. Some of us know the truth. Though we won't kill him for his crimes, he won't be let off so easily. He will work to make up for what he's done. Among us. Let us hope he stays in line. I would hate to have an excuse to do the worse now."

Standing for a tense moment, Tremblay eventually left with a deep breath, following Jon and Matt as they pulled Tyler away. The crowd stood in stunned silence for a moment, frozen as some of Tremblay's men began putting out the fires. "Come on, everyone," Becca said, raising a hand. "Most of us should be getting to bed soon. Hop to it!" She stepped forward, gingerly approaching Scarlett. She put her hands on her hips, and tried for a sympathetic look. "I'm sorry about all that. Really."
Tina - Apartment - Abram's Group

She was running through the apartment one last time to make sure she had everything she needed for the trip. This was likely to be the last time she'd ever see the place. It was possible she would soon part ways with both Jace and Caleb forever, and the thought broke her heart. She'd come to love them both so much. They were the family she never lost. "I'm sorry," she muttered in the living room, her hand touching at the half-finished mural she'd been painting. Field and forests of colour stared back at her, though it was the side of the painting that caused Tina's heart to ache.

"Katie," she whispered, looking over the girl's crude drawings. Tina had wanted to paint the girl and her lost friends on the mural, but she'd never got around to finishing. Now, it seemed, it would never be finished. She stared at the painting for perhaps a bit too long. She knew the others were waiting for her, so she made haste to the storage room when she came to her senses.

Rushing about the small room, Tina grabbed what she could to stash it into her backpack. She worked like a tornado, her small frame having to stand on tiptoes to reach the highest shelves. She managed to lose her balance in her rush and knocked the box of medical supplies on tot he floor. It bounced off the wall and spilled open, causing Tina to swear. With a grumble, she started to put it all back in place, but something in the wall caught her attention. It seemed that the box had knocked a panel loose in the wall-- a panel Tina hadn't been aware of. Gingerly, she removed the panel, her eyes widening at what she saw. Tina swore once again.

Without a word to anybody, Tina moved up next to Abram's window and gestured to him that she was all ready. She then climbed into Turisa's vehicle containing Leah and Liam, thankful she didn't have to share space with Adam, who was with Abram to give him directions to Outpost. Turisa would be following Abram while they drove out of Baton Rouge. Tina just hoped none of Tremblay's men spotted them on the way out.
Tyler - Plaza - Floyd/Jess/Tremblay Community

His throat had been burned raw, his face feeling like someone was pressing down on it hard. He'd tried not to, but Tyler had done his fair share of yelling in the face of the beating Tremblay had given him. The man had wanted to know everything, and Tyler had given it all up eventually. He couldn't understand why this man hated him so much-- no, that wasn't true, Tyler could very well understand why anyone could hate him. He just didn't get why Tremblay would go so far to get here.

Now, he understood. Whoever this Richard Treis was, Tremblay wanted him gone. He sought to use this mess as a means of spurning his group into doing it. The whole thing made Tyler sick. It reminded him of Haywood. It reminded him of himself. As Scarlett began to back away in disgust, Tyler fell forward, his hands catching himself before he fell on his face. He felt as if bile was rising from his stomach, threatening to make him sick all over the pavement. The light from the fires nearby were hurting his eyes.

Scarlett asked the million dollar question: was this man lying? Though Tyler was staring at the ground, he knew she was asking him. He expected someone to speak up and say it was all true, as Tremblay seemed to have gathered people to do just that, but no one said anything. A distressing silence fell over everybody, only the crackling of the fires and Tyler's ragged breathing being heard throughout the plaza. Tyler had to answer her, but he had no idea what to say. Yes. This isn't where Tyler expected to die, but could he have expected anything less? Yes. He knew he deserved this, but it had never been in Tyler's nature to give up. Yes. "Scarlett," he croaked, looking up at her. "What this man is saying... the truth is..." Yes.

"No. He's lying. This bastard is lying!" Tyler looked up at Tremblay, a fierceness in his eyes. Tremblay only stared back impassively.

The woman who had spoken before was talking once again. "This isn't how we should be going about this, Michael. There's a better way."

Tremblay could only look around at the crowd before him. Tyler could see that his cool demeanour had vanished, replaced by a noticeable worry. "Will no one say anything?" After Scarlett's declaration, Tyler knew that no one would take Matt's words for true either. No one wanted this.
Tremblay - Plaza - Floyd/Jess/Tremblay Community

The man's mood visibly fell at the sight of his community's reaction. They were looking at this scene with derision, though Tremblay had expected that kind of behaviour. He needed them to be stronger to do what needed to be done, but he needed this affair to end in a certain matter for that to be possible. Jon was at his side, telling him to back down, but Tremblay ignored him. "Will no one speak?" Tremblay asked, his eyes looking pointedly toward Jess and Floyd. Perhaps they were less vindictive than he assumed.

Becca stepped forward to distinguish herself from the crowd. Her arms jutted out to point at Scarlett and Tyler as if she couldn't believe the scene before her. "Mike, what the hell is this?" she asked, her voice dripping with outrage. Becca always called him Mike when she was annoyed, which was something Tremblay didn't much appreciate in front of others.

With a heavy sigh, Tremblay stepped up to Scarlett and Tyler, looking down on them dismissively. "Tyler Salem once controlled a group of people that hurt and murdered others to get what they wanted." Tremblay watched as Tyler leaned forward to grab at Scarlett, pulling her into a hug. The two guards Tremblay had on them moved to intervene, but Tremblay simply held a hand out to stop them. He doubted the girl would want anything to do with Tyler after she learned the truth. "But that's not all. This sick man kidnapped women and raped them. Every single one of them were with child after he was done with them! He let the men that worked under him take advantage of them as well! He would tell you it was necessary, but we all know that is just an excuse of an evil and deranged individual."

The crowd's dissent grew louder at this news. Some weren't sure if it was true, but if it were... none of them really had any reason not to believe Tremblay. His eyes shining red from the surrounding fires, Tremblay continued, "He had a fighting pit where men fought like animals. The catacombs where he lived will be forever stained with the blood he spilt." Tremblay looked at Matt and nodded. "And even when Tyler's group fell apart around him, he continued his violent ways. He joined a new community, only to devise a plan to send it into chaos and kill one of its leaders. This man is simply rotten. He wants to kill me right now. He wants to kill all of you."
Monica - Dilapidated House - Emma/Ellis

It was early in the morning when Monica awoke Emma. The older woman gave the girl a pleasant smile as she stirred awake. "Hey," she said. "I was wondering if you'd like to join me in some supply gathering. I'd rather you did it than Ellis, though I understand if you're still too hurt." The pair of them had shared an awkward conversation with Ellis the day before, the boy having not said too much to them. Monica had told him she'd like him to watch their supplies while they were gone, though in truth, they really didn't have many supplies worth guarding. Monica simply didn't feel comfortable having the boy watch her back.

"Biter activity is low in this city, at least."
Tremblay - Plaza - Katie/Scarlett/Floyd/Jess/Tremblay Community

A few days had passed since Tremblay questioned both Floyd and Jessalyn about their knowledge of Tyler. Neither had given him much information, but that hadn't necessarily been what Tremblay was looking to get from them. He never indicated to either of them that he had the man locked up, neither did he tell them why he questioned them at all. After leaving them to get settled into the community together, he'd given no indication to anyone what he planned to do.

The plaza was abuzz with activity, Tremblay having let it known that most work was cancelled for the day. He ensured that everyone would be at the plaza for his announcement, which no one was sure what it would be about. Those who were in the know figured it had to do with the growing tensions between Tremblay and Richard, but the man had let no in on that info. That is, except for Matt and Jon, who he had attending him while the parking lot was made a gathering place for the community-- workers and citizens alike. Dusk had fallen, and barrels were placed in the center of the plaza to light fires to illuminate the meeting. Tremblay was in good spirits, for he wanted this to be a large spectacle. The only community members not in attendance were KK and the younger children. Tremblay had ensured Katie would be with them, a locked door between her and the event outside.

As the group died down to listen to their leader, Tremblay's eyes locked on Jess'. He smiled at her. "Everyone, we have a very important matter to attend to," he boomed in a voice surprisingly free of his usual accent. It was a voice Tremblay had practiced well, for he was confident people listened better when he sounded more American. "There are a kind of people you all are aware exist in this world. When my friends and I came upon your doorstep, we sought to stop the fighting and force everyone involved to act like civilized human beings! Our efforts had not gone to waste, as we united the two warring groups of Baton Rouge and made an alliance. As some of you are aware, this alliance has been... strained, as of late. Richard Treis is an uncouth man, willing to kill others based solely on his selfish prejudices and desires. He represents the kind of people I hate to see in this world... And yet, they are numerous."

Taking a deep breath, Tremblay moved to the side of the stage and gestured to someone in the buildings to the right. The crowd waited for something to happen, but Tremblay continued talking regardless. "It's these kinds of people that threaten to destroy society. To ensure our future, I don't believe any longer that peace is a suitable solution." As Tremblay spoke, it became apparent why he had gestured a moment ago. From the buildings came two of his guards practically dragging a man into the parking lot. Though the bandages on his leg had been cleaned and made to look presentable, the bruises and scaring on his face indicated that he had been poorly treated recently. Tremblay looked toward Scarlett, who he'd allowed to attend this event. Once she recognised him as Tyler, he knew she would act out. Regardless, he continued, saying, "You all may not understand why I'm calling for such drastic measures. You may not understand the brutality of these kinds of people. I have brought to you all today, someone who is evil to their very core. Someone who represents everything we should be against." Jon and Matt would step aside as the two guards pushed Tyler down to his knees before the group, the light of the fires illuminating his worn out expression.

"I could give a very long list of the atrocities this man has committed, but I would like to back up my claims by giving a few members of our community the moment to speak on this man's character. I know a few here are well acquainted with the man, and I would like you to make clear why we can't continue to tolerate his existence any longer."
Tina - Bar/Apartment - Abram/Sam

Tina hesitated, taking a moment to look up at the building's second floor where the apartment was. "... I don't know. They might want to go with me, or they might want to help. Adam will stay with Elyse, I know that. As for the other groups, well..." She sighed, rubbing at the back of her neck. "I don't really know. We keep to ourselves, mostly. I know there's a few people around the plaza nearby, and there should be a group a few blocks away... We all try to keep to ourselves around here."

That Abram wanted to go to New Orleans confused Tina, to say the least. She couldn't hold back her curious stare. "We can get gas, but... why head down that way?"

Tremblay - Furniture Store - Floyd/Jess

He didn't seem concerned about their silence, only choosing to stare back at them icily. A few people walked by, but one look from Tremblay kept them from prying into his business. After a few moments of silence, Tremblay eventually let out a deep breath and leaned forward. "Then I'll tell you both what I know instead. I'll tell you more than I should even tell you, because I believe you both can be allies of mine, and I desperately need allies right now." Crossing his arms, Tremblay's gaze lingered a moment on Benjamin. "I traveled to New Orleans a few months ago and ended up in a group with a woman named Myriah. The group was strong, but no one wanted to elect a true leader. I wanted to do it, but Myriah said we should just appoint a few people to lead in various tasks. We had our builders, our scouts, our farmers, our organizers... but no real leader. Myriah was one nice woman. Too nice. Everybody loved her, so eventually people just started to think of her as the leader, though it was a position I know she didn't want. A friend and I felt this group wasn't a good fit for us any longer, so we approached Myriah to stage, well..." Tremblay smiled, holding out his hands. "A mutiny. She agreed to the idea. We were supposed to just show everyone that Myriah wasn't fit to lead before we went on our own way, but my friend got overzealous and attempted to kill her for real. I couldn't stop him, so I left before I found out if he ever got to kill her."

Leaning back, Tremblay's mind swam in the old memories of that night. He'd learned since then that Myriah hadn't died that night, but she was dead now anyway, so Tremblay had to wonder what was the point in all of that. "I had no desire to go back, so I was on my own for a while. Got to know the city and its people. Got to know Tyler. Group of his almost killed me before I found a few friends to hang around with. Everyone seemed to know his raiders at the time, so it wasn't hard to find out more about him. Through... let's say, interrogation, I learned a bit too many disgusting things about the man. About his deals, his goings-on. Needless to say, he was not a man I wished to deal with any longer, so I took my friends and went North, to where we're sitting right now."

He gestured around himself now. "If you were both in New Orleans during Tyler's reign, you'll know exactly what I mean. His kidnappings, his fighting pit, his den of sin. All I need from you both is confirmation, maybe a story of your own, if you have one. It very well might lead to revenge, if you happen to desire it."

KK - Furniture Store Bedroom - Scarlett/Katie

"Your daughter," KK said, her voice laced with doubt. She looked Scarlett up and down, finding herself not impressed whether or not the claim was true. Tremblay had never said anything about the little girl having a mother. "She'll be looked at as soon as possible. Alison and Becca are both very busy with something at the moment, and it's requiring all of their attention. Just have the dear rest so that whatever is wrong doesn't get worse." She'd taken on a more motherly tone, but KK still looked a bit annoyed regardless. She took a seat in a chair in the corner of the room, eyes still on Scarlett.

"People around here call me KK. Is there anything I can get you? Food, something to drink...?" She peered at Scarlett, waiting for her to answer with something smart. KK was having her fill dealing with these petulant children.
Hello, I am a helping hand for you all. Please set your rp to full or else people will try to join. I would also recomend making a list of deaths. Fairwell people!

We do have these things, but thank you very much for the advice regardless.

Ah, but I just noticed it's still set to apply. Myst will get to that when she can.
Tina - Outside Bar/Apartment - Abram/Sam

She moved out from behind the side of the garden, her eyes downcast. Tina looked between Abram and Sam briefly, crossing her arms. "I, uh..." She paused on that for a moment, thinking on what to say. "George told us what happened upstairs. I imagine he or Liam will tell you what happened, but, this is why we had Tyler separate from us. Tremblay had it out for him, and if we hadn't made him leave, we might have all been taken away."

Even though Tina's fears had been proven correct, she didn't feel any better about them. She'd hardly wanted Tyler to be captured, let alone his daughter or Scarlett. "... But, that doesn't mean we won't help you. I'm tired of living like this, to be honest. We should have all just left this city ages ago, but you know how it is." She nodded toward the bar. "The thing is, I need to keep people like Elyse in Liam out of this. I don't know what you guys hope to do, but understand that trying to sneak into Tremblay's territory won't end well. Maybe you have a game plan in mind, and I'm willing to give you all the info I can, but we need to figure out who we're going to keep out of this."

Swallowing, Tina looked down again, wringing her hands. "I'll take Elyse and Liam out of the city, and anyone who doesn't want to get involved. That's for the best, I think."

Monica - Dilapidated House - Ellis/Emma

"Thank you, both of you." Despite her plea for peace, Monica was hardly ready to let her guard down with this kid. With stiff shoulders, she opened the door of the house. "Your welcome inside. I'd like to know where you're from. I notice you have an accent." She stepped inside now, looking over the mess before her. With a deep breath, she offered the boy a smile. "I'm, uh... Monica, and this is Emma. Like I said before, we really don't have anything to offer you for food."

She moved around the table and brought a third chair from the corner of the room toward the center. She hoped she was subtle about it as she placed the third one across from the two others. She sat down, offering Emma a place beside her. "You can ask us a few things, if you'd like."

Danny - Cells - Alex and co.

Danny's face was pale as he followed Alex's instruction without saying a word himself. Shannon and Luke looked on behind him, probably too freaked out to do much of anything. When Luke didn't immediately follow what Alex said, Danny snapped and said, "Luke, come on!" He heard the man take a deep breath behind him, kneeling down next to him to hold the arrow shaft. Danny found his mouth going dry at this gruesome business, and he hated himself for feeling weak here. He'd seen just about everything these days, and yet the sight of his friend in such pain made his stomach tie in knots endlessly.

Once the business was over and the arrow was out, Danny shakily moved away from his friend, letting Luke tend to him alone. Richard looked out of it now, all of his energy spent screaming and yelling a moment ago. Breathing in shallow breaths, Danny hastily rubbed his hands against his shirt, groaning at the sight of them. In a moment, Shannon was at his side, touching at his shoulders. She rubbed them softly, her eyes set firmly on Magnus. "Good riddance," she said as he left, leaving them alone with their suffering.

She looked to Alex as he spoke, informing everyone that they were likely to be slaves of some sort now. Shannon felt disgusted. "No," she said, her voice wracked with anger. "No, we're not-- we'll get out of this somehow."

Danny felt Shannon look down on him, expecting him to back her up, but he could only shake his head. "Alex is right. This is how it is, Shannon. We're fucked."

No one in the cell could say much to argue with him.

KK - Furniture Store - Jessalyn/Scarlett/Katie

She could only make a vexed noise at Jess' childish display. "Well then, starve yourself for all I care. I'm sure you'll see your boy eventually." She left in a huff, closing the door behind her. There was no way to lock it, but as there were always people in the furniture store at this time of day, Jess wouldn't be able to get far away. KK moved then to another room-- essentially what used to be a model display for the store before it had been modified. She opened the door, here eyes looking upon the two girls inside. They were named Katie and Scarlett, according to to Tremblay.

"Hello, dears," she said, her voice warmer than she had been with Jess. These two were far more likely to lash out, even the little girl. "I'm here to talk to you about how your stay with us will go. I promise, no harm will come to either of you."

Tremblay - Plaza/Furniture Store - Alison/Floyd/Jessalyn

Tremblay stepped into Alison's office abruptly, a serious expression plastered on his face. He paid Floyd little attention as he spoke to the nurse, "I need you and Becca to attend to a matter for me. Head down to the receiving rooms, and you'll know what I mean." His French accent was restrained at the moment, sounding almost American. "And I'd like you to come with me. You probably don't want to-- but I'm bringing you to Jessalyn." He held the door open to let Alison leave first, Once she was gone, he continued holding it, waiting for Floyd to move. Whenever the man moved, Tremblay would briskly close the door behind him.

Without a word exchanged between them, Tremblay led Floyd out of the infirmary, through the plaza parking lot, and out the front entrance of the complex. Across the street from the plaza was a furniture store-- a large one, part of a growing chain before the world went to hell. Tremblay was using it for a multitude of reasons and it was fortified in its own right. Of course, if there was ever an attack, the plaza would always be the safer location.

A small walk in the store brought them to the bedroom housing Jessalyn. He stepped aside and let the pair have their reunion, though eventually Tremblay would say. "We all should talk." He would eventually bring them both to his office of sorts, or maybe it was more accurate to call it an information center. Surrounding a desk were boards filled with maps and information of Baton Rouge and the surrounding area. Countless lists of the various people living in the area and the kind of relationship they had established with Tremblay's group. Tremblay offered the pair to sit at a sofa while he brought the chair from his desk around to sit in front of them.

"KK is still around if you need anything for Ben, Jess. Make sure he's comfortable, as we'll have a lot to talk about, I think." Crossing his arms, he leaned back in his chair to eye the pair of them carefully. "We'll see to your job around here eventually, Floyd, but what to know right now is everything you know about a man named Tyler Salem. He was based in New Orleans for a time, I imagine you two might know of him."
