Skills: Polyester excels at engineering and electronics and is passable in firearms, but does not have enough strength to effectively use heavy weapons.

Personality: Independent, resourceful, and inquisitive. Anti- Social, has a tenancy to over-react, somewhat cowardly.

Bio: Was an engineering student before the outbreak, Graduated with his Masters days before the outbreak.

Skills: Mechanics

Personality: aggressive, distrustful, loyal to those who deserve it, protective, stubborn, blunt, realistic.

Bio: Lynn was a mechanic at a garage when the outbreak happened. She has been living in an abandoned train car ever since. Has family somewhere. Was part of a group once, but decided large groups were too dangerous.

Age: 18

Skills:
Strategist - He is a great planner, he has plans for his plans and backup plans for his backup plans that are for his backup plans.
Quiet Berserker - When the fighting needs to be fought he fights to kill. He is so focused that he doesn't make a single sound as he hacks and slashes away at his enemies.

Weapons:
Hand and a Half Sword
Father's Dual Colt Pythons - Due to being an heirloom his father kept the guns in a glass case and only had the display's twenty rounds plus the five in the revolver.

Personality: ADHD and psychologically different. His morals and ideals are not average, he was born with a lack of emotional strength in the sense that his emotions are weak, while he may show surface emotion deep down he's always bored unless he is doing something he considers extremely enjoyable. His sister is his moral anchor, everything he considers to be right and wrong revolve around her, meaning that if she approves of something he is fine with it if she isn't then he will consider it a "bad" thing for values of her displeasure.

Bio: Aleck and his sister, Gwen, were not real siblings, they were both adopted into the family so neither is even related to their "parents". They were both at home when things went down the crapper. They hunkered down and survived the initial first month when things were real bad but after a whole things started to cool down and Aleck began venturing out to find food and other essentials.

Name: Jack "Sully" Sullam

Age: 34

Skills: Medicine (At a doctors level) and Psychiatry.

Weapons: A number of scalpels from the hospital he worked at and a small hatchet from his shed.

Personality: Sully is a realist, he always looks to help others and is a nice guy however if the situation looks detrimental to his own survival his vote will always be the other direction. He finds it difficult to trust people and that has only got worse with the outbreak. He is quite the father figure, despite being short and too the point, and after the outbreak first occurred managed to save a group of children who were in the pediatrics at his hospital however he doesn’t talk about the since the ‘incident’.

Bio: Sully used to be a doctor at a large hospital, he lived alone and had no family after his parents died and his brother ran off to ‘make his fortune’.

Name: Harrison Jacobson

Age: 10

Skill: As a child in the apocalypse, Harrison has learned to survive off of the bare necessities and is good at keeping an optimistic outlook on life. He is additionally smart and resourceful.

Weapons:
-6' Hunting Knife
-Glock Pistol, 4 Bullets (He isn't strong enough to use it)
-Self-made spear- Broomstick with a sharpened tip

Personality: Though he has spent time alone, fending for himself, he has never been alone this long before. He does his best to keep looking forward towards the future and has an undeniable will to survive. He still maintains a bit of his childish innocence and has not yet killed anyone, or a walker. He is distrustful of most due to bad experiences in his past and is well blessed with a silver tongue and a quick and sharp mind. He is resourceful and does not like letting things go to waste.

Bio: Before the outbreak his parents had been divorced and custody of him had gone to his father. On the road trip to his new home they ran into a huge amount of traffic and were chased off the road by walkers. What seems like months later, Harrison is by himself during the apocalypse, barely managing to get by.

So I finally made it into the Chatzy and saw the message from Myst. I just want to address what she said.

"Myst: I hate all of this fighting. I want to come back but I can't take all of the hostility. We are friends. We have been friends for over a year. If it's anyone's fault the rp died it is mine. You can't have an rp without the gm. So blame me, where the blame belongs. I can't help the things that have happened in my life, losing my home and living with my aunt and her spotty wifi, but I am trying to come back for you guys and for the rp because I miss all of you so much

Myst: But please, I am begging you : stop fighting. If it is this big of a deal we will have two rp groups, one on rpg and one on iwaku. I will try to be in both and then can choose to be in one or both. We will have different plots and characters but the same universe. Who knows, maybe at some point the two plots can crossover"

I'm not sure I'd call the exchange above a full-blown argument, but here's the thing: it would be very silly of us to split our RP group into two over this. Cal brought the idea of moving up initially, I thought it was a fair idea, I started a vote and moving got more votes. That's simply how it is. Neither Cal or myself or whomever voted for it wants to move simply because we have friends there. Iwaku has better tools for advertising as it has a banner rotation. Even if you hate Iwaku, there's nothing here that's not offered there. I really should not even have to argue for this when a vote was done fairly.

As Myst seems fine with it being on either site, I do not see the point in discussing this further. If it completely bombs there, whatever, we can always come back. I feel the move would seriously be a great boon to the RP regardless. I think we should start discussing plot details for the new thread (I was thinking we go with the community idea we were throwing around a while back) and start work on making a thread over on that site.

Only reason this vote came up is because you say you've got friends on the other site and want them to be a part of this. Why not tell them to join us here?

Actually, Cal brought it up initially and I agreed it seemed like a reasonable idea.

But I see I can't say anything to the bleeding heart martyr argument. I've invested just as much time into this RP as you have, so please spare me that nonsense.

Because half of us use that site and it would be fairly easy to drum up new interest on that site as opposed to keeping it here. Formatting aside, I agree the pro to keeping it on here is this is where the previous role-play content is located.

Anyway, you should have a dedication to the RP, not the site it's on. I understand if you don't like the idea of this being a vote in the first place but if I had no reasonable cause to do so I wouldn't have brought it up. Frankly, threatening to not join us to possibly ensure we change our votes is not cool.
