I will comment on this before this thread goes away.

I really want the multiplayer to be good for Destiny, but there are a couple killers.

The big one for me is the super charges. How can you have competitive, tactical PvP multiplayer when someone can just waltz into the room or the capture zone and kill everyone there instantly?

And then there's the idea of everyone bringing in their own gear. Yeah that's how MMO's a few other games do pvp, but with a shooter (where the kills happen within seconds) having a stronger gun simply wins the fight more often than not. There isn't much time for player skill to come into account.

So yeah, I might stick to PvE. It's disappointing because former Bungie PvP is one of my favorite things (you know the game).

It would be nice if Skype was more barebones and less fuckery.

It's probably really dodgey to use because it's busy opening up your Outlook Express in the background and emailing transcripts of your conversations to the NSA.
