You know, maybe we could, like... accuse newcomers of being Turt's alt all the time?I mean, I get that walking straight into Spam isn't normal behavior and it's kind of reason for suspicion... if you're a mod, who can check these things. Maybe you can say that it sounds suspicious, but there is a possibility that it's not an alt, you know, so don't sound so certain about it. :I Isn't there a possibility that this newcomer joined, looked around at the different forums, saw "Spam" and wondered what it might be (since it's not exactly the sort of thing found on your average roleplaying forum), thus leading him inside?Not at all implausible if you ask me - especially now that Spam is listed separately away from OT and such. Kind of makes it stand out more, I think.

I was going to say something like this, but in my experience, sticking up for the guild newbs only results in a forum-wide backlash. Besides, every time I've done it, the rest of the forum ended up being right, so I've just given up. I suppose the "Accusing everyone of being Turt" thing is a bit different, though.

Turt's influence is greater than I could have possibly imagined. How many people does he have under him? How deep do the roots go!?

Spam minecraft server

So nobody liked the temp world border idea, huh?

Well if I'm not entirely barred from making suggestions, we could reset the server and do "event" type things on the pre-release until the actual release comes out.

One life survival/PVP things, creative mode build-offs (or just plain fuckery). minigames, or whatever.

Boy do I want to do one-life/hardcore PvP events, I tell ya.

Sometimes jokes need to be said because the situation is calling for them. Sometimes it's the opposite, and the blatantly obvious joke is just not very funny because everyone is expecting it to be said.

I would like to think that there are specific situations for both, but much more likely is the fact that this whole idea is a crock of shit and I'm actually just moody and sporadic.
