Is there anything as short, as abridged as a very long life?

Born in Spain, I'm 27 yers old, but a brand-new baby in terms of roleplaying. The reason I'm entering this rabbit-hole (and I say it in the best of terms) is because I feel lonely. I'm a bit of an introvert and it's hard for me to make friends in real life.
Don't feel sorry for me! I managed to get myself a life and I feel pretty comfortable in it. Socializing has always been a challenge for me, but once I get the grip of a conversation, I can deffend myself and feel functional.
I'm very open-minded and easy-going. I reeeally like videogames, films and literature. I work as an ancient greek and latin professor.
