Felicia

Felicia is roughly 5’9” has olive skin, long straight red hair, pointed ears, and downturned grey eyes. She typically wears her hair in a loose side braid with an old blue and white hat. Felicia’s typical garb consists of a dark royal blue ¾ sleeve shirt, brown overalls, light brown boots, a single red earring on her right ear, and a thick, colorful friendship bracelet on her right wrist. She also wears a necklace, but it's so long that the bottom disappears into her shirt and overalls.

Backstory: Felicia was born in Castle Town, but moved to Lake Hylia at a very young age where she helped her uncle, who was getting on in years, manage his fishing supply rental business. It was there that she learned her trade and eventually came to take over the business when her uncle passed away. Most of the villagers are quite familiar with her.

She used to be known as a very happy, laid-back person, but a terrible tragedy befell her several years back and she’s never been quite the same ever since. She continues to run the fishing business, but lives alone and tends not to leave home very often except to sell fish or buy groceries.

Skills/Talents:

1. Fishing (SS)
She’s a fisherwoman. Owns the fishing supplies rental shop. Need I say more?

2. Cooking (SS)
She’s quite good at preparing meals. She can make something tasty out of just about anything.

3. Sneaking (SS)
Those fish can be mighty flightly. As a rather flighty person herself, she understands that.

4. Evading (FS)
Felicia has good reflexes. Her jumpiness has been known to startle people at times, however and, given her current occupation, she seems to have proven herself more adept to avoiding friendly pats on the back rather than swords or claws.

5. Long sword (FS)
Someone once taught her how to use it several years ago. She has since worked very hard to improve her skills with the blade.

6. First Aid (SS)
She can patch up the occasional bump or scrape and even splint a broken arm or leg. Not much good when injuries get serious, though.

7. Swimming (PS)
She’s a decent swimmer, but prefers to stay in the boat when she’s fishing and near shore when she’s relaxing.

Goal(s): Lately Felicia has been doing all she can just to keep her fishing business afloat. She doesn’t seem to have any other goals besides this.

Generations have past since the Hero of Time rescued Princess Zelda and sealed Ganondorf within the Sacred Realm. The Hero of Time then departed from Hyrule and the seal of the Seven Sages began to weaken for some reason. This, of course, then allowed Ganondorf to break free and make good on his old and forgotten promise to one day get his revenge on the descendents of those responsible for his imprisonment-- and also, of course, conquer Hyrule. As darkness creeps across the land, the people pray for the Hero of Time to save them once again, but-- surprise, surprise... he doesn't appear.

And thus the citizens of Hyrule, unprepared and afraid, are forced to defend themselves against Ganondorf as he begins his siege. Without a hero, things appear bleak, but should a select few rise to the occasion-- perhaps Hyrule may be destined for a happier ending....

In the dark of the night, a woman's voice, heavenly and full of light, speaks to our unlikely heroes.... Could this be the voice of one of the goddesses answering the prayers of her people? It's unlikely very many people will believe you... and also possible that this voice is merely a figment of your imagination... but recent rumors of Ganondorf's return have got you thinking... and after nearly a month of being told to attend the Hero of Time Festival in Kakariko Village-- and with the date fast approaching-- you're beginning to think that maybe it's worth a shot, if maybe a shot in the dark. What's the worst that could happen?

Hello, hello! Welcome to my second original Zelda RP! I've been Co-GMing and roleplaying Zelda for about 5 years now and it's been about that long since I last started a light-hearted Zelda rolepay of my own. Recently I felt inspired to try something new and with this year's big E3 reveals from Aonuma, I figured-- why not now? Now seems good. Anyways, in case you're wondering, this roleplay will be taking place within the Adult Link Timeline-- long after Ocarina of Time and long before Wind Waker. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to ask them, but please keep in mind that I will not be doing any hand holding for this RP. I'll answer your questions, but don't expect me to correct your mistakes.

Castle Town:

King Daphnes Nohansen Hyrule oversees his people with a firm and dutiful hand. The economy is thriving, life is peaceful, and everyone loves the King and their beautiful young princess, Princess Zelda. Castle Town has long since been restored to it's prior glory and the Temple of Time stands tall and proud as a symbol of hope for all-- reminding every man, woman, and child of their precious Hero of Time and the Princess who once saved the land from impending doom.

Kakariko Village:

The Shiekah tribe lives in Kakariko Village. They are extremely small in number-- once thought to have died out completely. Shrouded in mystery and being extremely adept warriors, they continue to serve the royal family as they have for generations. The village itself thrives as a mining town. Many fatalities have resulted, however, from miners working near Death Mountain, which continues to be known as a very dangerous place.

It is also, however, where the Hero of Time Festival is held every year due to it being the second most populated village in Hyrule and a good distance closer to Goron City and Zora's Domain than Castle Town. The Festival is meant to be celebrated by all races.

Lake Hylia:

Lake Hylia is home to a small, but decently prosperous, fishing town. Lately, however, the amount of fish living in the Lake has taken a nose dive and there have been many disputes arising between Zora and fisherman over who is hoarding all the fish. The once decently prosperous village may soon be decently poor. The village is also prone to wolfos attacks.

Lon Lon Ranch:

A simple, happy little family owned ranch, renowned across the land for having the best milk money can buy as well as the best horses. The ranch is owned and managed by a man named Salon along with his wife and three children.

Ordon Village***

Ordon Village lies to the east-- just outside of the Lost Woods and Kokiri Forest. It is a decently sized farming village which is also known for it's Ordon Ranch, which is more of an open ranch for pigs, goats, and cows. The ranch's cattle, branded with a symbol that resembles Ordon goats, can often be seen roaming around Hyrule field to graze along with their protective herders during every season of the year expect winter. Many crops (especially pumpkins) are grown here. A small river runs through the village.

Zora’s Domain:

The beloved Queen Laruto rules over the Zora people. The Zora continue to be on good terms with the Royal Family. Lately, however, there has been a bit of a fish shortage—making it not only difficult for the Zora to eat, but also difficult for them to feed their patron deity, Lord Jabun.

Goron City:

The Goron Elder, Darlink, oversees the Goron race. Not much has changed—the Gorons enjoy eating rocks, soaking in hot springs, sipping Lava Juice, and continue to be the main source for explosives within Hyrule. Many Gorons were killed before the Hero of Time defeated the terrible Goron-eating Volvagia. Since then their numbers have improved, but they continue to be much fewer in number when compared to many of the other races.

Kokiri Forest:

Not much has changed within the simple little Kokiri village. With Link’s excursion into the outside world, however, more curious Kokiris soon discovered they could, in fact, survive outside the Lost Woods and Kokiri Forest. It is still generally frowned upon, however. The Deku Tree prefers that the younglings stay nearby and lately has been especially adamant that they not stray too far away. Those who disobey the Deku Tree and venture out are typically dubbed as troublemakers. The Lost Woods continues to be extremely dangerous for outsides other than the Kokiri and the monsters that live there.

Gerudo Fortress

Aveil is the leader of the Gerudo. Although many years have passed since Ganondorf’s defeat, tensions between the rest of Hyrule and the Gerudo tribe persist. They are still seen as thieves to many. The Gerudo continue to be very reclusive and do not take well to outsiders-- especially trespassers. The women themselves are rarely ever seen outside their fortress except to find short-term boyfriends.

2. Keep in mind: It's your responsibility to be logical and think before you post-- not mine.
3. Leave the loot drops to me. If your character just randomly finds the master sword in a treasure chest, I WILL poof it right out of your character's hand. And possibly take your character's hand with it considering my mood.
4. Please at least try to proofread and/or use spell check.
5. Any sort of argument you wish to have with me should be taken to the PMs. I will not argue with anyone in the OOC.
6. You MUST let me know if your schedule is preventing you from posting. If I go a week without hearing from you, your character will be puppeted. If I go two weeks without hearing from you-- your character may possibly be either killed off or simply captured by Bokoblins, depending on how nice I'm feeling.
7. You may play up to 3 characters at any one given time. This is because the possibility that your character may die is going to be VERY REAL in this RP. Keep that in mind.
8. Follow basic roleplaying etiquette.

Also please include your character's height as well as whether or not they have any notable scars/tattoos/deformities. Also include what clothes they are wearing.

Theme Song: What sick beat really "gets them"? Y'know'm' sayin', man?

Personality: In 4-7 words, describe your character's most prevalent qualities in terms of personality.

Backstory: 1-2 paragraphs. No more and no less. I only want to know the fundamental basics of your character's life and origin.

Skills/Talents: List 6-7 things your character is skilled at from best to least good at along with a brief description of said skill. Please keep in mind that just because your character is good at fighting with 7 different weapons doesn't mean they will be all that useful. You may choose whatever skills you want, but they must fall under one of four categories:

Fighting Skills (swordplay, archery, evading, etc.)
Magic Skills (Water, Fire, Wind, etc.)
