"I have a request of you," Magus said, turning to Veitaru, "There is a young girl with red hair who wears green who runs a potion stall in the festival who I believe is one of the people that is meant to be here. She has a fairy of her own following her around so she is kind of hard to miss. Do you think you can hunt her down and get her to come here?"

Veitaru seemed vaguely to be listening as she stared after Frore, who was obediently lumbering out of the graveyard already. Lethe had been deeply offended by how Frore wouldn’t say her name and even more bothered by the Chilfos’ loyalty to Cain. The shadow snake had ditched her without a thought. Had he already forgotten the trouble Frore had gotten into last time?

“Yes, I think keeping an eye on that one would be best,” Lethe answered when Vei posed the question.

"Ah, kay. So, Red Hair, same exact clothes as everyone else, kid, fairy right? Remember the color of the fairy?" Vei asked Magus, still looking after Frore.

“Like that matters,” Lethe growled, growing impatient on top of irritated, “How many fairies do you normally see flitting about outside of the Kokiri Forest anyway? Those old termites usually stay cooped up by the Deku Tree. Kokiri aren't exactly a common sight!” Something had struck a chord within the small fairy—from the moment Magus mentioned the kokiri’s fairy. One would likely find it hard to spot, however, considering how petulant the fairy’s mood had proved to be thus far.

“Just get a move on you two,” she flew into the side of Magus’ head, giving him a small but proper shove towards the graveyard’s gate—her statement obviously directed at him more so than Vei, “I already told you I’m on a tight schedule. Hurry up! Go! Both of you!"

Turning back to their newest member, Lethe paused. He’d just been sitting there on the gravestone. Cain had already made it clear that she was to explain what was going on, so he must be waiting for her. He almost looked like a school boy, patiently waiting for class to begin— or rather, he would have had his appearance been less…. Lethe racked her brain for the right word. Unsettling? Scary? Rugged?

“You’re a quiet one, aren’t you?” Lethe purred, flying closer. She encircled him much like she’d done to the others—only with much more caution, “Of course, one can’t always equate silence with wisdom, now can they? Sometimes lakes filled with fish are just as still on the surface as lakes void of life.” She inwardly chuckled at her indirect jibe, thinking herself quite clever.

“I expect I’ll find out soon why the Goddess described you as the Foolish One,” Lethe said guardedly, her eyes narrow.

“But I digress… you’re here because you’ve been chosen. Whether or not I think you worthy matters little. The well-being of Hyrule is far more important than outward appearances and prejudice, don’t you think?

“Anyways… the others are off looking for the other chosen ones. We will meet at the entrance of the Shadow Temple and I’ll explain what must be done there. In the meantime, I could use your help with something. If you’re up to it.”
I imagine Cain would probably have long since impeded the progress of Jira's pity party before he got out of the basement.

RBYDark-- post looks fine to me!

Kalamadia-- I'm so sorry! I somehow missed your second to last comment. Looking forward to seeing the CS. I was hoping for somebody to make a character from Ordon.
In other news... WE'RE IN THE THREE DIGITS NOW! YAY! Now we definitely need a title for this 'chapter'. Adventurers Assemble... lol. I was thinking maybe something like The Gathering Of Heroes or The Chosen Ones. Something ironically serious/intense.
Cordock looks alright. Just a few small things.

-- 4-7 word limit for the personality! My goal here is to encourage people to pick out their character's most prevelant attributes and more fully help us realize their personality through the IC.

-- Geomancy... errr shaking mountains to their very foundation? That seems kinda OP to me. Maybe gigantic earth/patches of earth? Shaking boulders as big as a 5 story building? Something a little less like 'moving mountains'?

Epicorn is approved.
Working on that post for Lethe. Sorry for the wait. Been working with these new applicants and I've been pretty swamped with other matters. Should be able to get it up tonight though.
My point is that because Ganondorf used them when he tried to take over Hyrule a second time, it's likely he used them when he tried to take over Hyrule the first time. And considering how dangerous a darknut can be, they'd likely be known at this time as well-- if only as a mere bedtime story legend to some. As if his canine appearance isn't enough, the fact that he's 81/2 feet tall and covered in a ton of armor that doesn't denote him as a knight of Hyrule would be enough to startle a lot of people. Not saying you can't do it-- just saying NPCs will react accordingly.

As for the Wizzrobes, I'm open to a lot of ideas-- like I said.
Heilix-- yes I'll be getting a post up soon for Lethe. Sorry for the wait. I was hoping to let everyone evacuate the graveyard first, but I may as well move forward I suppose. I'm a little puzzled about what Magus is doing. Lethe is probably going to yell at him to stop being a lazy "stick" in the mud (lulz) and tell him to make himself useful.

I'm not sure what you're getting at, Jon. I know perfectly well that Wind Waker happens long after Hyrule's initial fall. This RP is in fact right before Ganondorf's reappearance.
RBYDark-- accepted. I like her!

Tomorrow I'll add these two new characters to Lethe's original listing in the IC.
Ah, no. Darknuts were definitely not only seen by Link. You find several of them frozen within Hyrule Castle in Wind Waker-- thus Ganondorf obviously was in the habit of using them in his take over. He likely did so during Ocarina of Time although we never see them. Besides- he's 81/2 feet tall. That's inhumanly large. S'gonna freak people out whether they know exactly what a darknut is or not. Unless he tries to play it all off as a crazy costume.

As for the light arrow-- while it was imbued with light it was also an arrow. So of course it could still harm other things. It's the light itself that kills dark creatures so quickly. You can't deny that they were at least followers of Ganondorf for a time. I'm not going to push that they were created by Ganondorf, but judging by how Iron Knuckle came to be and the fact that they are dogs, I've just always preferred to believe Ganondorf bred Dauchsons and turned them into Darknuts-- manipulating their dog-like loyalty for his own evil purpose. But that's just speculation-- no more canon that HTW.

With the Zuna, you have to keep in mind that I'm going strictly off the Wiki and not Hyrule Total War. (I'm not much of a war RP kinda gal and this is far from a war-like RP.) But either way-- only Gerudo would likely know of them.

I don't mind if you want to base the Darknuts off of HTW. I understand that the game leaves many things unexplained and I'm pretty flexible. Really all I'm asking is that the city be outside of Hyrule. Something like what Lug suggested would be just fine and I doubt it would affect much for Captain E's background.

As for the whisper-- yeah... pretty sure it's obvious enough. Glad you caught that.
Lug, I'm glad you liked it! Thought you would. :D Them boys are all yours. Do with them what you will. (Their names are Rigby and Mordecai by the way. Otherwise known as Mordecai and Rigby. Otherwise know as a totally shameless rip off of The Regular Show.)
...
Felicia chewed her lip as Jira went off on the salesman, wrapping the wax paper around the candied apple and carefully slipping it into one of her overall pockets. She found her attention wasn’t as captured by his heroism, if you could call it that, as the pulsating vein that was beginning to appear on the man's swollen tomato-colored temple. He looked angry... really really angry. She sure hoped the masked man knew what he was doing.

Her worries temporarily seceded as the masked man placed a hand on her back and... wait, what was he inviting her to do with him?! What did he mean by accompanying him? This night?

She reproachfully pulled away, a suspicious scowl set on her face… which promptly melted away as he removed his mask to reveal a rather stunning looking man. It was hard to say considering his youthful features and behavior, but he couldn't have been much younger or older than herself. This she found surprising.

Felicia had taken him to be a hyperactive young man that had a weird fetish for older ladies. She tried to remind herself she really wasn’t all that old, but it was a vain notion. She felt like she was nearly 40 although she was only 26 and she doubted that would change any time soon. As it were, however, she felt a small tint of color flooding her own cheeks when she noticed how red the no-longer-masked man’s face was.

She opened her mouth to, as politely as possible, request that his superfluous little romance farce end here and now, but was cut off by the sound of eerily amused laughter that stopped them both in their tracks.

"You shouldn't have done that," the salesmen grinned, his face no longer red. There was an unnerving calm about him that gravely concerned Felicia as she stared. The man then suddenly looked as though he were about to sneeze-- a curious happenstance considering the menacing air he'd just been trying to put on not but a second before.

"Ah... ah... AHHH... CHOO!”

Bringing a closed fist to his mouth, a small cloud of shimmering white dust flew from the wrinkled crevice of the man’s palm. Instantly, a spell of drowsiness seized Felicia and she doddered precariously on her heels, fighting to stay awake. She collapsed rearward-- expecting to fall up against the wall of the building they stood beside, but instead she felt someone's arms catch her and pull her into the building through a suddenly opened trap door. The dark mouth of the mystery building swallowed both of them up in less than a second-- escaping the notice of the crowd. Through blurry eyes, Felicia watched the daylight disappear with a creaky snap.

Masters of their despicable craft, the same two men who had tripped Felicia into the pots had their captives’ hands securely tied in less than half a minute. The room wherein they worked was pitch black save for a faint, flickering light coming from a basement stairway. One man threw Felicia over his shoulder whilst the other, rather unceremoniously, dragged Jira down the staircase by his heels. The poor man would likely suffer quite the headache when he finally came to.

The pair were tied back to back to a wooden support beam and the men, mere silhouettes against the lone candle within the dark, dank basement, began freeing them of the items in their inventory.

“A fish merchant? Seriously? She looks like she’s been wearing these overalls for the past 10 years,” one of the men groaned as he prodded her bobblehead with his finger, “She’s got a nice sword on her though. I mean-- it’s a piece of shit but at least it looks nice.”

“I dunno—this one looks pretty loaded,” the other smiled, groping Jira’s wallet in his hands like it was a woman’s breast—a lewd grin parting his dimly lit lips.

“Don’t even think about it, Rigby. Put the junk on the table and wait for the boss to get down here.”

The other man grumbled as he tossed the fat wallet onto the wooden table that housed the candle.

“Hehe, look at this,” he said, brightening up as he held up the grappling hook.

“Whoa! Shit, dude! Those things are fucking rare!”

“Hehe,” the man aimed it at the table and fired—obviously oblivious to what exactly would happen. The end piece shot forward, latching onto the wooden edge of the table. Suddenly, it jerked both he and the table together—causing the candle to topple over and sending the man lurching head first towards the table. He let go just in the nick of time, sprawling out painfully on the cold stone floor rather than smashing his head against the tabletop.

The candle weakly sputtered before finally going out.

“You’re such an idiot.”
Alrighty.... Just a few things:

-- Firstly, please glance through the other CSes and try to make his personality section emulate those. 4-7 words. I'm looking for a list of adjectives.

-- Considering the exact origin of Dark Nuts aren't really spelled out, I'm totally fine with your decision to make them be a race from some far away place. "Between the Gerudo Desert and ocean beyond" denotes that it's a part of Hyrule and that's not really something I want, however. I'm fine with the creation of small villages and towns, but the creation of a large city (which is what Ontheon sounds like) is a bit of a bigger deal. Especially when it's a city filled with dark creatures created and/or used by Ganondorf when he tried to take over Hyrule. Personally, I'm more in favor of them being creations of Ganon, but since it's neither integral to the plot nor crystal clear canon, I'm willing to bend.

"It should also be mentioned that shooting Light Arrows at a Darknut, even in full armor, will instantly kill the unfortunate Darknut, suggesting that Darknuts are followers, or perhaps even creations of, Ganondorf, seeing as regular, fire, and ice arrows will simply bounce off a Darknut's armor." (Zelda Wiki.)

It may also be worth mentioning that the Dark Nut tribe could have originally been created by Ganondorf but abandoned following his defeat.

-- Then there's this part:

"He was getting old and he did not want to die in some fighting pit. So he decided to see what else Hyrule had to offer for him, and one day set off."

I... can't fathom why a Captain that holds honor above all else would just get bored and run away like that. Especially into a land that would surely hate his guts-- the Darknuts would NOT have a good reputation amidst other Hyruleans. So what would he think Hyrule could possibly offer him, I wonder? It would make far more sense for his kind to be banned from Hyrule as opposed to the Zuna-- who I highly doubt the King would have any reason for banning. Most likely he and most of Hyrule have no idea what/who Zuna are since (If the Desert of Doubt is to be seen as the equivalent of the Haunted Wasteland, which I think makes the most sense) races other than the Gerudo aren't typically permitted to go there. And most folks wouldn't be so keen to visit such a place anyway, I'd bet.

But anyways, why wouldn't him hearing a mysterious voice in the night be enough? By the time the RP has started he's been hearing the voice for a month straight. I think I also ought to mention that I really want everyone starting off in Kakariko. I'd rather not have to fabricate a whole other plot arc that's on the other side of Hyrule and only applicable to one person....

--I would probably relabel his skill as a survivalist to better reflect that fact that he has experience with only desert environments. If his tribe originated from the desert, I doubt they'd know much about Forests and mountains and other such regions. He's also going to need a slot dedicated to strength. Otherwise hefting around all that crazy thick armor would be nigh impossible.
